I bought a Liebherr fridge freezer expecting premium quality, but the freezer drawer has now broken three times due to a flimsy plastic part in the slider. On the last occasion, customer service told me I was “closing the drawer incorrectly’. I’ve now spent £150 replacing parts that should never have failed in the first place. Very disappointed – both in the build quality and in the dismissive customer service. A high-end brand should do much better.

I have a new Liebherr freezer that does not keep its temperature. The correct temperature should be -18 but it is much warmer and I have now lost a freezer full of food on 2 occasions. I called up Liebherr customer service last week to try and organise a repair but they told me that I needed to reset the freezer first. They said they would arrange an engineer if the problem was not rectified. Needless to say, the freezer remains faulty and I called back to arrange an engineer visit. The customer service rep was obstructive and seemed reluctant to send out an engineer. I told him that there was an alarm going off and a sign with a temperature/exclamation mark on the display. I also gave him the temperature of my freezer. He asked me about an error code which doesn’t exist. He continued to be obstructive and said that if an engineer visits and there isn’t a problem, then they won’t be able to fix it! I assured him that wasn’t the case. Needless to say, there are no Leibherr engineers available for weeks. They will arrange for a service partner to come in a week but I’m about to lose another freezer full of food. I am so disappointed in my new Liebherr freezer and the poor customer service. As it’s under a year old and under warrantee, I would prefer a refund

Fridge itself is very quiet & working well but only been in 1day .Very good looking fridge & solid , however had difficulty finding serial numbers etc but did find eventually (such a lot of info to read through ) then tried to register item online , it wouldn’t respond , eventually rang customer services & waited a few minutes to be connected to registration team , spoke to Louise who was extremely helpful & talked me through what I needed to do online , did that & provided a photo of proof of purchase , all sent off to them & had a response very quickly saying all was now done & fridge registered for 10 yrs .
All in all a very good experience from customer services , very helpful .
Hope I’ll enjoy this fridge for many years .
Just be aware serial numbers etc are difficult to find & a lot of info to read through to guide you .

Hi, i had a Liebherr freezer with an ice maker for 10 years, and was very happy with it, unfortunately i have had my kitchen re-fitted and ordered a new freezer with ice maker, it has only worked for 1 week in 3 months!! i have had 3 engineer visits all stating the problem had been resolved, only to fail again with an error. I suspect like many premium products they have moved their operations abroad and sourcing cheaper parts which has had an impact on the quality. i have now got to the point of wanting the appliance replaced , and i am awaiting a response. i would also say that the lead time for an engineer can take some time, like i said i have had 3 visits in 3 months.

Great looking integrated fridge . More expensive than the alternative I was going to purchase but feels solid with a nice firm closing door .
One problem I was not impressed with is the fridge supplied had a 2 pin European round plug fitted which is not appropriate in UK . I had to cut off and purchase and fit a 3pin plug . Awaiting confirmation in writing that this will not invalidate guarantee

1.Serial number not on left side of fridge but hidden at back of bottom drawer on freezer.
2. Had to logon three times to complete registration.
Overall a poor experience Along with unhelpful Customer Service stating I could return fridge freezer as a day old ELSE have it repaired. I said I wanted it repaired BUT retained the right to replace it if anything else goes wrong! Guy said it was one or the other

Excellent freezer.
Very impressed with the quality of this freestanding freezer and how easy it was to install. I had the benefit of an amazing free 10 year warranty and customer services at Liebherr were very helpful in setting this up for me.

My order was delivered with one item missing. I emailed the websales department and within half an hour had an apologetic reply, asking for a photograph of what I had received. I supplied that and by return got an assurance that the outstanding part would be sent immediately. The whole matter was sorted in less than two hours - quite remarkable!

I'm very happy with my freezer. The quality of the product is better than I expected and the glass shelves between drawers is a nice touch. In addition I have just been advised that I have a ten year guarantee which I was not aware of.

I am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with Liebherr appliances. We purchased a freestanding freezer and fridge for £3,000, expecting high quality and durability.
Within the first year, the fridge hinge screw sheared, and we were instructed by the company to fix it ourselves with a self-tapping screw. This issue was unfortunately not an isolated incident. In July, our freezer began alarming and gaining temperature, leading to the spoilage of an entire top shelf of food.
Liebherr's customer service was unhelpful, stating that no engineers were available in our area. As a result, we are now £1,500 out of pocket and are forced to replace a useless freezer.
In stark contrast, our 15-year-old Beko appliance, which had been stored unused in a damp shed for over a year, started up without issue and saved the day by preventing the rest of our freezer food from spoiling.
This experience has taught us not to be swayed by brand hype. In the future, we will opt for a reliable Beko.

I had visited larger shops and looked at different web pages for an under counter frost free freezer. Then I found the Liebherr at a shop near me in Moston Manchester. The staff were very helpful and I ordered my freezer to be delivered in two days time.
They delivered it and fitted it before 10am. Everything working great.
Very pleasent chaps and I have no hesitation in recommending this shop for any electrical goods needed.

I ordered a fridge freezer direct from Liebherr and it arrived promptly. The couriers were very good at taking care not to damage my floor when they removed the old one. Unfortunately my new appliance was too big to go round the corner inside my house (entirely my fault for not measuring beforehand) but Liebherr 's customer service was exceptionally helpful, and they fully credited my account.

From ordering my fridge and freezer the process was dealt with quickly and efficiently. I had to ring Liebherr twice - once to ask for further information about the product and then to ask for advice/help registering the products. On both occasions my calls were answered quickly and the customer service agents I spoke to were polite and extremely helpfuI. I also had a prompt reply to my email enquiry. I cannot fault the service I received. Well done Liebherr - good old fashioned customer service.

I bought my Liebherr fridge freezer (Liebherr CN4313 Comfort Fridge Freezer) in the UK in November 2021 . Only a few months in, we start having problems. It's no frost but ice buids up in the freezer and stops the fridge and freezer from working properly. I have had to throw out so much food thanks to it malfunctioning like this. Twice engineers have had to come out to resolve the problem. It was clear that they were used to dealing with this type of malfunction with Liebherr fridge freezers. The advice from Liebherr when you call up is to switch it off for 45 minutes and to accept that it can take 48 hours for the temperatures of both the fridge and freezer to be back at the right temperatures. It took this long and even then neither are as cold as they should be when I did this a few days ago on the CS advice. The really hard reset involves turning the appliance off for 48 HOURS! It may surprise Liebherr to know that most people don't have the luxury of a spare fridge and freezer to use whilst this is going on. I have not had this with any other fridge freezer. It is absurd and not at all what I expected when I chose this brand over others less than 4 years ago. I won't be making the same mistake when I replace this worthless fridge freezer soon.

A delivery was planned for mid week. They didn't have the part. Receiving no reply, we proactively called and got a second delivery date - a Saturday. There's no customer contact point, but they can make deliveries. It is done by a third party company which just 'follows rules'.
They removed the old fridge from the house, but reported was not defrosted enough.
They wheel up the other fridge and then they take away the fridge they were to deliver. What? Just deliver the fridge.
This leaves an 88 and 86 year old, who are reliant on cooled diabetic materials in 32 degree heat.
I told the delivery removal company (who are just a third party and will get the same review) that they were punishing old age pensioners at risk for a punitive collection policy.
As diabetic materials are cooled and in high temperature it is a morally irresponsible delivery and collection policy.
If this is how they deal with your parents as they did mine, I recommend zero contact with this company
They could have left the fridge but it's supposedly Liebherr's policy not too. It appears they contract a 'white label delivery company'.
There was no option to have the item delivered, and leave the fridge for us to remove ourselves or for them to collect another time. No, that would be a customer first policy.
Instead it's a punitive take and deliver - not 48 hours with no fridge, customer last policy.
I will separately investigate their relationships with the delivery and collection company to find out if it is purely contractual for part exchange.

The website wouldn't let me register for an extended warranty, due to an IT problem according to customer service. But the customer service agent was really helpful, keeping track of the problem until it was fixed and then reminding me to sign up. She also applied a discount after I purchased the warranty. So, one star off for the initial IT issue, but full marks for the excellent customer service to fix it.

Jane in Customer Care, brilliant assistance. I'm old and not that good on the old Tinternet trying to register for the 10 year warranty. She dealt with it for me and registered it on my behalf. Nice one Jane, thanks. Good customer service is always worth a plug, so rare these days.

I found it very difficult to register my refrigerator guarantee. The website is, to say the least, unhelpful and you have to email your proof of purchase rather than upload it. So I cannot give five stars. However, you can send a message/question online. This resulted in an email from an agent called Jane, who was very helpful. In fact she eventually registered the guarantee for me telling me how I could claim on it if necessary - a five star lady.

Lionel was brilliant. He gave me first class customer service when I telephoned with a query about spare parts this morning. I would give him six stars if that was possible. He had excellent manner and went out of his way to explain everything I needed to do to order the spare parts for our fridge freezer. Thank you Lionel.
