Real Human Customer Service
I’ve been a part of the Hooks & Needles community since earlier this year and whenever I have a question, I receive an extremely prompt answer from a real human! Imagine that! The products are high quality and the subscription box is like Christmas once a month. I’m also learning new skills and they are there when I get stuck on a pattern!

Awesome customer service and products
I accidently received a duplicate amigurumi kit two months in a row... so I messaged the company about fixing it.
I have to say, their customer service is definitely amazing. They usually responded rather quickly, and were always extremely nice with all of their responses.
Yesterday I received the replacement amigurumi kit, after tracking it through the mail like a kid stalking Santa (you all know what I'm talking about 😉).
Long story short...I definitely recommend this company to any and all crocheters and knitters 🧶
(Currently receiving the monthly crochet box for the past 5 months, and the amigurumi kit for the past 4 months)

SCAM, THE MONEY BACK GUARANTEE IS A LIE
I cannot recommend this subscription box. I was unhappy with the first box as the written instructions were not beginner friendly - they were not detailed and did not match the instructions in the video tutorial. I used free videos from other creators on youtube to learn the techniques needed to create the projects. Box 2 was underwhelming and I didn't get a chance to find other free videos to help me work up the projects before the notice came that the next box was shipping. The third box had me furious. The yarn is ugly, not anything like what is shown, and i would have NEVER purchased had I been buying yarn on my own.This is where it stops. Hooks & Needles supposedly offers a 30 day money back guarantee if you are unhappy with a box, but this is turning out to be a lie and a scam. They are attempting to only offer me (option 1) a 50% refund on this last box in which the yarn is disappointing and not even close to what is pictured in the instructions. Or (option 2) 50% off the next box - for which there will BE no box because I've canceled the subscription amd they know this. The audacity for them to keep my money and then suggest that I pay them more money only for them to send me another scam box is ridiculous. Their refusal to honor their money back guarantee means that I must exercise my own options of disputing the charge with my credit card as this is clearly a scam, amd reviewing this company everywhere possible to make sure everyone else aware of the scam before they get entangled.

I was very excited when i saw my first Hooks and needles box at my front door. with excitement i opened my box and saw the beautiful yarn, scissors, darting needles, and two sets of wooden knitting needles. the box also included a beautiful book of free patterns and a recipe of the month. omg how wonderful i can knit while enjoying a piece of cozy apple crumble, and a cup of whatever. thank you hooks and needles. I'm looking forward to getting my next knit kit.

I love the gifts... The gift I really love is the scissors, the are so nice and beautiful... solid in the hand
One critic .... too many emails with offers to buy.. practically daily It's too much, it's a bit of a turn off.

3 tiny balls of thin yarn
3 tiny balls of thin yarn, 50g each. I regret placing the subscription order that I had looked forward to. It didn't help that the packaging was smashed which was probably the mail person's trying to shove it in the mail box but then opening it and receiving three balls of yarn. I was sad.

Highly recommend Hooks & Needles
The subscription boxes are lovely and I look forward to them every month! They provide everything you need and you have choices on which project to pursue. I believe there’s something for everyone’s taste and it’s also nice to be surprised each month. I had some questions and the person responding to me was kind and helpful. Crochet kit that has what you need
It was really awesome to get everything in one kit. High quality yarn, hooks, instructions, and a neat gift.
I’m newish still to crocheting, but advancing fairly quickly. Advanced beginner. I found a few of the designs a little more difficult for different reasons. I would’ve preferred slower videos so I could’ve followed for things I didn’t get. Overall, I really liked my first box and plan to continue trying it out.

I was so impressed with my first box
I was so impressed with my first box. The materials are all of very high quality, the yarn was super awesome. I chose the Intermediate project. I started crochet about 3 months ago with the plushie kits, then I toyed with a granny square or two. The intermediate project was challenging, but not too hard. The instructions are excellent and I referred to the video on a couple of occasions when I had trouble. My project turned out so cute! I will probably make another one of it using this pattern they sent.
