The process really was very simple. We dealt with Esther who was both professional and prompt in all our dealings and we could not recommend her more highly. She explained everything clearly in a step a by step manner and when we had some queries she responded quickly and in detail. It was that attention to detail that made us feel comfortable from start to finish. We were impressed that there was no pressure to proceed just a helpful attitude and and willingness to assist.

When we originally considered having a reverse mortgage, we made enquiries with another company, because our friends had done so. When reading their rates of compound interest, we worried some more, as this was a huge decision for us to make. Hence, we did some more research and came across Household Capital, which is affiliated with ME Bank, a reputable bank.
Our enquiries introduced us to Esther Angrisano, who has been totally professional in all our dealings with her. She helped us get organized for a video call, and we really appreciated the "face to face" time with her. She answered all our questions without any hesitation and explained the step by step procedures we would encounter. Any phone calls we made to her, were promptly answered or she rang us back in no time at all. We are happy with our dealings with Household Capital, and would recommend them to anyone who is interested in a reverse mortgage.

During the most difficult times in 2020 the service was unfaltering

Esther provided excellent service and follow up. The process was quick and straightfoward.
My only reservation was that the interest rate reductions were not passed on.
I would highly recommend Household Capital to others.

This was a useless company as I own my home and because I live in a postcode they said they do not cover this area. What a waste of time and the advert does not say they only help in certain places very disappointed.

We were locked into a Low Doc loan with a very high interest rate and had no way of refinancing in order to take advantage of lower rated because of our age.
Refinancing through Household Capital gave us the chance to pay off the current Mortgage and take advantage of our equity in our home and have peace of mind not having to come up with the money to pay the monthly payments.

After some months of researching options concerning reverse mortgages, we finally settled on Household Capital. Our first "real life" encounter was an interview on line with Esther Agriano. We found her to be professional, fluent in responses and extremely courteous in our engagement with her. She represented Household Capital extremely well and gave us the comforting assurance that she would listen, evaluate and then respond with our needs in mind - not just the organisation. We needed to close a large Mortgage so did research & check in detail to The Government scheme, heartland, home safe and your scheme.

Having a representative come to the house made a lot of difference to us and Esther are laid our fears that it hung over from the first days of reverse mortgages and her manner and professional knowledge made us feel happy to go with your company.

Overall experience was very good. The letter from Dentons with what was required to be sent with signed contract was confusing. The letter stated to send a copy of title when they required the actual title.
