All of us at Howes Models take great pride in the fact that 'Howes' have been trading since 1939 and we are the longest serving Model Shop in the UK. We offer a great range of radio controlled boats, cars, planes, tanks, drones and more. We keep a large range of batteries, not just for RC models such as LIPO & NIMH's but batteries for bait boats, ride on toy cars, alarms and motorbikes. We also have a large Pre-Owned Model Railway department with stock being added daily! Aswell as selling our very popular Model Railway 'Howes' sound chips. We are the home of the Lake Reaper bait boats and keep a full list of spares, a variety of upgrades and accessories and more! We are available to give help and advice over the phone Monday-Friday from 09:00-16:00 and have a fast response rate for emails.

Great service
Ordered an R/C tank on their website and arranged to collect. Spoke to Gavin, he said that the tank was all sorted and ready to collect as I informed them that I couldn't get there for a week, he said that was fine. Arrived on the Friday, staff were very friendly, had a bit of a joke about the BB gun. Tank is awesome too!

Bringing realistic sounds to my model railway
I buy my locomotive sound decoders from Howes and I find them very good with realistic sound and a good range of classes to choose from.
Prices have remained good value and delivery is prompt. I can recommend Howes as a reliable supplier.
