I had an appt at the Rayleigh store and was greated with smiles from two lovely ladies and immediately offered a drink. I sat down in a comfy chair and we all had a chat about my budget and physical issues as well as general chat. Ann helped me chosing my chairs, she knew dependant on cost I wanted to replace at least one of my tired DFS chairs, two if budget allowed. We spent alot of time moving from chair to chair, she expressed concern one wasn’t supporting my neck correctly, I knew another didn’t have the right back support. We tried one motor, two motor, and 4 motors, but I decided I probably wanted manual. The moment I sat in the Ripley Grande chair, we both knew that was the one with manual recliner (tested on the sofa). Ann knew I currently had leather but I liked the display fabric, we looked at others in same B price range, but I decided on that one. The price enabled me to buy 2 chairs so I could swap them every few months as I live alone. I decided to get the protection covers for one and care package for both (no pressure to buy either). I was in the store over 2 hours, it was a lovely experience, more like a social coffee morning where I happen to buy chairs! No hard sell, no push towards more expensive options, I felt relaxed, in control, and valued as a customer. I am still 4-6 weeks until delivery, so can’t comment on that yet, but so far very happy. Highly recommended!

We first visited the showroom ( Rayleigh ) and were
Impressed by the Sales Lady ( Tracey ) because she
appreciated the Mobility issues we have to achieve .
So much so that , after looking elsewhere , we had no
reluctance in returning to the showroom to discuss
with Tracey . Which convinced us to place a order for
the product we needed ( A 3 Motor adjustable Chair ).

During our visit to the Southend branch we were very well looked after by Ann. We were shown suitable chairs and given relevant information in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere.
The whole experience was excellent.

A very quick and polite service. Both Jason and Ashley carried out my new furniture installation, very professionally.

The staff made our experience in the Southend store very enjoyable . Anne was very knowledgable about the different chairs that Dad was encouraged to try. Special attention was given to ensure Dad was matched to the correct chair for him.

Went to Southend store and was treated so well and had plenty of time to look and choose. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Staff were friendly and polite, answered all my queries and asked what I 2as looking for. Even found an early del
ivery date. Delivered at time and date specified ,fitted up and made sure working correctly. More than happy with service from all staff involved.

Lisa looked after us very well and made the whole experience very easy.

Emma and Julie were very patient and understanding as we talked through different options for my mother. They were clear about the pros and cons for different chair formats, highlighting things we had not considered. There was no rush or hard sell, plenty of time to look at different options and ask questions. Returning customers and was nice to see Emma again, she is a credit to the store. Wishing Julie lots of luck in the Lakeside store.

Not received the chair yet (due in a few weeks) but the sales team in Rayleigh (called the Southend store) were superb. No hard sell but there to give friendly assistance. Furniture is top end, great quality so try to buy something when it's in the sale! Recommended 😀

Visited Eastwood,Southend store. Jasmine was so professional and knowledgeable,friendly and patiently dealt with my queries. Bought a riser recliner after trying out the chairs until I was confident that it would suit me. Superb quality furniture.thanks to Jasmine for her friendly attitude. Made buying chairs an enjoyable customer experience. Jasmine is a real asset to the company.

Today I went to HSL to look at their Fireside chairs, i brought my last one over 8 years ago and it is now wearing out . Anyway I met a lovely lady called Lisa.she was really knowledgeable about chairs/materials.etc we were offered tea/ coffee, biscuits.
She talked us through everything about the chair and was very professional throughout. But put us at ease
She was happy and nothing was to much bother what a lovely lady.and what a great company lots of choice of chairs and settees they also sell beds .
If you go in ask for Lisa , you won't regret it.

Made to feel most welcome from the start. Nothing was to much trouble. Emma and the Rayleigh Store team were most helpful with trying different cushions (foam and spring based), picking fabric, legs etc. Would definitely recommend

Visited HSL store in Rayleigh for some new armchairs. Great store with easy parking and plenty of chairs to try. Jasmine, the comfort specialist, was excellent, knowledgeable and supportive. Very pleased with our purchase.
