The staff at Stockton,Allison and co were very welcoming,not at all like most furniture saleroom staff. They are not pushy and in fact they make a good cup of tea! I have made three visits, one with my wife who has dementia,and she was treated very well. I originally intended to get two fireside type chairs but after considering everything i have ordered two riser recliners.These have cost a pretty sum but I think they will be worth it.

Claudia was very helpful, she was patient and understanding of my dad’s difficulties. She gave him lots of time to find what was right for him.

John & Luke were excellent they made my mam feel comfortable didn’t rush her to do anything let her take her time & make the right choice for her ,very polite ,helpful & nothing was a problem excellent service all round would highly recommend this company thank you

Absolutely brilliant customer service. We were looked after by Claudia who was so lovely. She explained how the riser recliner chairs worked and how each individual is different in needing different chairs, something we didn’t know before. She was really patient with my dad and understood his needs. Couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you

Had a home visit from Jacquie and John from Stockton. Nothing was to much trouble - bringing chairs to a second floor apartment. Recomended the best options both me and my husband should be looking for to meet our requirements.

Visited the store at stockton on tees, portrack and was very impressed with the service from Luke. The whole experience was very relaxed and under no pressure to buy. Everything was explained , priced and alternatives recommended.We were made very welcome and at ease. We had no problem in making our purchase.

From ordering our armchairs from Stockton branch to delivery today the whole experience was excellent. The store staff were willing and able to answer any questions raised and were at all times, customer focused.
Delivery was advised for today ( 3rd July) and the delivery crew, Ian and Paul contacted us with an expected time scale. They were pleseant, polite and very efficient, and also very quick to complete the delivery leaving us with our new armchairs to try. We were impressed from the beginning to the end with our experience and highly reccomend HSL for their quality product, customer focus and delivery of goods.

Visited the store in Stockton and the team were incredibly helpful with my grandma picking out a new chair and they found her the perfect one that fitted all of her needs. The communication regarding delivery was fantastic and the delivery team Ian and Paul were so lovely, thank you!

Claudia was "Top Draw" she was absolutely fantastic. She explained everything in great detail, gave both my mum (who is 91)and me time to ask questions. Nothing was any trouble for her at all. A terrific lady in every which way. Alison the manager couldn't have been more helpful too. The feeling that both my mum and I felt was "like meeting up with family."

Yes, the sales staff are very helpful when you are BUYING. However, when you have a problem with your purchase they don’t want to know.
“ we don’t deal with that”.
We had to find the correct numbers to ring. The wait for a technicians visits ( another company), receiving spare parts, is taking months.
The chair is of poor quality for the price we paid and has several problems.

My mum had called HSL about a home visit after seeing the service mentioned on their website and couldn't be happier with their responsiveness and also the time taken to help her in choosing a new chair. Firstly want to say a big thank you to both John and Luke who are superb chaps and a credit to the company. I have to say that there was no pressure to buy, all they wanted was to make sure mum had the right advice on the chair which suited her due to a number of health conditions. Mum wanted to think about it after the first visit and then called them again with a query on the size and they came back out to discuss as mum again. On the first visit they brought various chairs to try and all of the colour options and just discussed what they thought was best for her. also they left some tea and biscuits which was a nice touch. On the second visit they explained the chair again and the sizes and put my mum's mind at rest knowing the chair would be suitable for her needs. Chair is now ordered and she can't wait for it to arrive. If anyone is in doubt of using the home appointment service, there is no need as you will be looked after by some of the most caring staff we've seen in years. Highly recommend HSL Chairs.

Visited hsl stockton on tees yesterday, had idea what we wanted. Wendy was very welcoming, helpful and efficient making it a pleasant visit.
Also half way home, a call to say they could deliver today.
All done and sorted, thank u.

Brother in a care home, John from Stockton came and explained the workings of it, gave my brother David the materials to choose a covering, John was excellent now just waiting for chair to be delivered HSL give customers an excellent first class service. Thanks John on Davids behalf. PS now delivered ordered Wednesday delivered Friday . excellent.

Lovely leather chair - Hamilton swivel recliner and foot stool. However, it arrived with a light base instead of the dark one I ordered. The delivery men, Craig and Danny, were so efficient, friendly and apologetic. Advised me what to do. Can't fault them! When I rang up,the matter was dealt with and a new chair will be delivered with a darker base. Meanwhile I can use the wrong one. Excellent follow up to a complaint. Disappointing but all will be resolved!

We wanted to purchase a reclining chair for our mam ,John P the salesman came to her hone with a demo model john was very informative and friendly and patient made mam feel relaxed and after some time she decided what she wanted, john went through all the prices and what extras we could purchase with the chair and mam felt very comfortable with John even though we were with her aswell. Mam is now looking forward to her new chair coming .
