2 wonderful people brought the chair, very informative, friendly and I bought the chair.I was told it might be 6-8 weeks until ready. Actually it was just short of 6 weeks.
Delivery was amazing. A 2 hour window for delivery, a phone call at 20 minutes away 18 minutes later arrived.Brilliant all the way. And I love my posture chair!

Paul and Jon delivered my new recliner chair on 7th Oct. They were on time, assembled chair very quickly and explained thoroughly how it worked. They were very polite and friendly and removed all related packaging.

Lee and Carl delivered our new Sofa and chairs with superb professionalism today

Very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Lainey listened to my requirements and helped me try out several chairs and sizes, discussing the different features. So happy with her recommendation, which seems to be the perfect chair for me, rather than the one I'd thought looked best on the website.

A huge thank you to Carl p and Damion who delivered and put together our corner unit sofa today, after struggling to attached all nuts and bolts to join the corners to each side which wasn't easy to do as it wasn't a recliner, they did an amazing job, lovely pleasant lads

Diane in the showroom spent time making sure I chose the chair that suited me best and was extremely helpful.
Alex and Tom who delivered the chair were very efficient and explained the workings of the chair very carefully for me.

Delivery team rang with an estimated time of delivery. Damion and Carl P arrived dead on time with our new Stressless chair, which they carried round to the back of our house to place in the conservatory. They were friendly, courteous and efficient.

Overall great experience though had to wait 14 weeks (advised it would be 6-8 weeks) for delivery due to a mix up at HSL. Made enquiries after waiting 8 weeks and took another 7 weeks to arrive as the item is bespoke. HSL(Simon) was very polite however, knocked money off as compensation and the quality of the product is excellent.

Visited HSL with my parents to help them order new chairs. We were assisted by Diana at the York store who was extremely helpful and considerate and caring to our needs as my dad has dementia. The process from end to end to order 2 new chairs was seamless and I would highly recommend HSL and particularly the York store. This is our 2nd visit to this store and both times it has resulted in successful purchases. Thank you for you outstanding customer service and understanding. Diana was very understanding, knowledgeable and easy to get along with.

Earlier this year, I took my mum to HSL at York to purchase a new riser recliner chair. We were looked after very well by Diana and my mum is thrilled with her new chair. Very good customer service and high quality furniture.

Every person I spoke to was very polite and tried to be helpful. However their new system let them down. The chairs that I ordered didn’t arrive within three days as promised.They seemed not to have my order, I had to explain my problem over and over again.When they did arrive they had different hand sets,no instructions , no arm protection , no care kit,Altogether l was very disappointed.I ordered these chairs for my husband on his return home from hospital and they arrived over a week later.l have now accepted a price reduction .l would not use. this company again.
