I sent a Cotswolds Gin Afternoon tea and a Lemon Drizzle cake to my mum for Mother's day.
I've bought from Huffkins before and have always been delighted with the gifts I have sent

Scones were great. Had to go and buy another pot of clotted cream as the amount supplied was only enough for ~2 scones

Good website, delivered exactly when you said it would. Best scones ever, really impressed! Carrot cake delish, earl grey tea one of the best I've ever had, and I've tried many!! Won't be the last you see of me!! Thank you

Fabulous chutney and Excellent delivery

Sadly the whole experience has gone down hill in a short space of time, it’s such a shame. I took a friend for afternoon tea at the John Lewis’ Oxford Street branch, having visited there before and been impressed.
Sadly yesterday the service and standard was way below average. After sitting down for a while we were ignored until I went to the till to make enquiries about my reservation.
Sandwiches had obviously been pre made and left out for a some time so tasted stale, I ended up leaving the hard edges of the bread and also some of the sandwiches. I would have thought it was not too difficult to keep sandwiches fresh.
Quantity of cakes were much less than previously and when we asked for another pot of tea, we were told two weeks ago the rules had changed so there were no refills.
The two scones provided tasted fresh and went down well.
Fortunately it was a Groupon offer so I didn’t pay the full amount £60. I didn’t want to make a fuss so left disappointed and a bit embarrassed that it was supposed to have been a nice treat for my friend, I’m really not sure what’s gone wrong with this little place it has so much potential.

Online order for a delivery as a gift worked really well.

We visited Huffkins in John Lewis on Oxford Street, London on Friday 21st February for an afternoon tea with Prosecco…. We had a superb time, the coffee/tea were fabulous and the sandwiches and cakes were excellent.. we could not eat it all and the staff supplied a box in order to take the remainder home. The staff were also friendly and very attentive. Thank you… Would definitely visit again… highly recommended.

Pretty terrible. Dry, overbaked, flavourless and generally disappointing.

A blind person who has never cooked and with no scales could make a better scone/tea cake/brownie.

Gift card arrived but unfortunately it contained a spelling mistake but when I raised it they corrected it by return. It is for a gift so I can't comment on the cakes but have heard they are delicious!!

I reply to a previous review. We have twice been given gift vouchers and, in our experience, two different tea shops were incapable of dealing with them. They had to contact HQ on both occasions and, indeed, the second time accidentally put an extra £10 on the card.

So disappointing the Stratford upon Avon store do not accept cash as payment. Went with my family for a light lunch and walked out after being told they won’t accept my payment method.

Ordered house blend teabags which are very refreshing too drink. Problem with DPD courier who lied about first attempt to deliver to locker which was empty and then delivered parcel to different locker two days later but did not advise me of the locker code and I had to make several phone calls to customer service. DPD very unprofessional and I paid £6.95 postage. Huffkins did assist with my order and were helpful.
