Absolute Disgrace. Signs are very poor, often hidden behind bushes, and parking bays so they can't be seen. They don't take card only cash and their arbitration seems to be done by their own no doub... Ver más

Don’t even rate 1 star but I had to click 1 to review, we met a friend at St James Park Knaresbrough as I have done for many years, couple of weeks later received a parking charge notice ? We always stay between 3 and 4 hours shopping ! Coffee a wander in shops, Lunch then carry on in the rest of the shops between 10.30 and 2.30 and never had a problem, as normal this time. Seemingly the car park management have changed this to 3 hrs max from 4hrs with NO Notices around !!! Why would anybody realise this had changed if you arnt made aware ? There were 3 of us together and I only realised this change had happened after getting the charges and logging on to the parks website. Well sorry to the shops there where between us we spent a couple of hundred pounds ! We won’t be going back to St James Park anymore NOW ! I also used to work close to the park and actually remember a time before this robbing thriving company was in charge !

Went to try and park in their Nottingham car park to which there was no spaces left as it was small and poorly laid out, so I left the car park and got a £60 fine! For not even parking up!

Received a PCN of £100 stating that l failed to purchase and display a parking ticket, which is a total lie. This company's reviews show that a lot of people have encountered the same problem. I think we are dealing with a rogue company here. Why is this allowed to go on and where can they be reported?
Shameful thieves
Shameful, corrupt company of thieves. We paid for our parking. We were charged more than stated on their signs, due to an admin charge. We parked legally and received a pcn. They stated we had entered an incorrect vrn. This is not the same as not paying to park. On appeal hx showed their list of vrn's for that night and there was nothing even close to our reg. This seems very dubious. I think they tamper with their systems. Why would their systems take our payment without any vrn? We wouldn't have entered one 100% incorrect. They would have had one payment more than the vehicles on their site but still insist we didn't pay. The appeals process is pointless. Do yourself and everyone else a favour and avoid this companies car parks. Check signs for ownership and leave, i certainly will. Legislation for this industry is massively lacking and needs seriously improving and this company takes complete advantage. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

An immoral parking company
We parked for 20 minutes in Morecambe to put a cheque in the bank. We entered the normal last 3 digits of car no (as per all other parking in our region). It is ridiculous to require all the reg car no, knowing we did pay. To claim we did not pay for parking is an insult, when all factors add up to us paying. The appeals team must be reaping in money for their immoral company.
Stupid reason for Parking charge
Yet again this company using a stupid excuse to say my parking ticket was invalid at the Cartmel village racecourse car park. I have never used a car parking machine that you have to key the Full registration into the parking machine, as the parking machines in South Cumbria only require the last three letters of your reg.
The photo's provided on the Parking Charge Notice clearly correlate that the details on the ticket and my car are one and the same, and the timings of arrival and departure met the time allowed for what i paid, No defrauding of payment was made.
Definitely won't be using the car park again and add will my complaint to the others that have been reported in the local press

would give zero stars if I could. son mistakenly put in his car reg number instead of mine - the one he had borrowed for half an hour. still have the ticket. showed them photos of our cars,side by side, both registered in my name. paid £1 for half an hours parking, stayed 10 mins, and have refused my appeal, even though they can clearly see from their cameras that the car paid for was never on the carpark. £60 fine!! cowboys. I refuse to park on a parking eye carpark and now will never again park on a hx carpark.

Parked car at Burnsall North Yorks. Paid fee but no ticket issued hence unable to prove that I had paid.
Received a parking fine. Wrote to HX to appeal. As per other reviews, I got nowhere and have to decide whether to take these cowboys on or reluctantly pay the fine.
I would strongly recommend that people should avoid parking in any location that they manage.

Parked in Halifax near McDonalds on a petrol station forecourt. Went into buy something and then moved. Small piece of land cordoned off with cones and cars parked in a line in front of cones. I didn't park on double yellows and there was access to the tiny piece of land. To me simply looks like a trap to trick motorists. I wouldn't use their carparks ever. I have paid but will be taking legal action as this is blatant
PS when I checked the warning sign is behind the cones so very ambiguous

Parked my car at Cartmel racetrack, paid for my ticket, spent a lovely hour in Cartmel. A month later we received a £100 fine, we were told we could not appeal as we did not respond to the first letter which we did not receive. I did pay! We paid the fine as we were intimidated by their threatening words. I wrote to them telling them I had paid I have thrown the ticket away, they have given me no proof of me not paying? I was with a friend she saw me pay. The gentleman in front was having trouble with the machine. This company is a disgrace and a parasite. I even contacted the landowner with no response, both letters were sent registered post, I feel robbed.

Received a £60 fine on 19th November from these cowboys, stating that I had only inputted the first two digits of my registration number when I paid for my ticket.looking into it it seems this a common occurrence so it is obvious this company is using underhand tactics to fleece the general public such as faulty machines(as reported in the times) and terma and condition as long as your arm, high time companies like this are held to account. Seems someone on here received a ticket the same day from the same company regarding the car park in king street wigan would be interesting to see what theirs was issued for.

Paid a parking fine here 3 months ago for overstaying 13 minutes. Accepted this and paid the extortionate £60.
Last week parked again for daughter to collect wedding dress and paid for 3 hours just to be sure! Horrified to receive parking notice again but when I checked the ticket she had mistakenly entered her car reg instead of mine, probably due to her excitement!
Appealed sending the ticket showing payment and photos of the 2 cars side by side. CCTV would show that her car was never near the car park on that day. Just an honest mistake.
SURPRISE! Appeal rejected.

Having received a fine for 2.04 minutes overstay i think this company just lacks any common sense or regard for its users, purely there to punish as soon as possible, hardly a welcome invite to use a towns services, more likely to put people off ever returning. The appeals service is floored too as it has connections to the car park so not impartial at all, even the solicitors used have connections so all in all a closed shop waiting to pounce. Its a shame we cant give zero stars as this car park with its registration inputting machine is like using a fruit machine, sometimes you win other times you loose and it prints an incorrect registration, fine in the post. It also takes a cars registration before its even entered the car park. GDPR anyone? cowboys like this can spoil a towns reputation. All this registration or over staying can be solved simply by using a barrier style entrance/exit where you pay for what you use but then again that would stop any fines, i know what an honest company would do
