Driver app issues and 30 minute wait passenger app
Hello Icabbi.
I’m sorry to tell you this but:
(Driver app)
There is now to much info on drivers screen since the 4:0:9 update you only need Date/Time then pick up address then customer name /vehicle 4seater and price/payment details then destination.
An icon for maps and an icon for phoning customer direct.
Also does your software work out how long a job takes and lets people that opens icabbi passenger app that a vehicle is clearing in their vicinity?
I’ve noticed it shows 30 minute wait when all cars are on jobs., when in reality if the office have no upcoming bookings it would only be about 5 to 15 minutes, by then the future customer has opened a competitors app and booked with them.
You can’t send a created message when you are given a job eg let office know you’re waiting for customer.
The messages from office that pop up are tiny yet I have my letters as big as possible.
Also your recent update has to many glitches it crashes and you have to reboot /religiously relog back on. Is it beta testing all the time?
It seemed a good app around 2020 but now imho it’s now not good for business.
Also have you read the “GENUINE”reviews on App Store and google play store& trust pilot.

Truly is the WORST app/system I have worked with in 34 years of taxiing. Why are companies/drivers using this complete and utter heap of dung?!?!
It is worst driver app for iOS user…
It is worst driver app for iOS user they launch the app for iPhone but it is not trustworthy.
Meter runs slower then android app so driver lose money.
Connectivity issues it’s only connect well in 5G area 4G signal makes the app slower.
Lots of complain forward but they are not able to solve it.
Think before you make any contract it is rubbish software and there team is useless.

As a driver this is the worst loss leader driver app it loses you tons of money gives very inaccurate hours worked and money earned card system especially apple pay a complete joke using your own contactless far more sophisticated trouble free and worst thing ever is the gps and the amount of dead mileage no wonder year on year have to tell tax man you at massive losses because of this icabbi system it is not a fair and transparent system useless and does not work for drivers I've lost tons of revenue this new year's alone just please if you are an new or existing operator walk away invest in a different despatch system or you may face bankruptcy because of this icabbi and don't let their sales person pressure you into signing a contract I've hit almost 2000 miles 95 hrs allegedly and earned £1705 less my fuel bill wear and tear and rent puts me down to a minus figure please don't use this app or go to work with another operator

Our company uses I cabbi I suppose as an office owner it doesn’t really matter to them but as a driver trying to work with this system it’s a nightmare and for me personally it’s very distracting to use whilst driving plus I think illegal as you are in effect using a mobile phone whilst driving there’s to many faults and glitches and I can’t really think of anything positive to say about it and unfortunately we as drivers are lumbered with it until something better comes along just a quick update 2 years down the line would love to say things have got better but it’s the complete opposite every update brings more faults and glitches than fixes I’ve lost count of the time system freezes logs you out won’t work properly won’t clear the meter the constant uninstalls reinstalls it’s really not fit for purpose the constant complaints from customers saying how hard it is to book a taxi the booking app which just changes pick up points the constant ringing up the customers to find out exactly where they are wish I could give it minus 5 stars

We have called 5 times again and again and only one time they picked up. And when they did finally pick up they couldn't provide any solution to our problem. We have a 4 year contract but its hard to see it through if things will continue like this.
Not interested in helping customers
As a taxi driver, our company runs iCabbi. Recently I decided to upgrade my pad. I've always used iCabbi on an Android device so this is what I went for again. Unfortunately the new device would not accept the iCabbi Driver app. I phones their customer support and spoke to a rude and abrupt lady who refused to help and said "we don't deal with drivers". As it's driver and not necessarily companies who primarily use the iCabbi Driver app, this was a disgusting response from a company who think they are a market leader. When our company is next looking to upgrade their overall system I'll be advising them to go elsewhere.

4 years contract and during the lockdown they reduce the payments slightly for 2 months only to take them back after 2 months. You can't cancel contract either. Rubbish service as well as external charges. Definitely not worth the money

Had a nice friendly jovial jolly driver on my journey to Dagenham Goodmayes 4pm so decided to use them again later but was disappointed by driver Hussain who asked for payment in advance which was unimpressive and meant that I couldn’t give him a tip because I found that conduct disrespectful and very very unlikely to use this company again sadly.
Warning, not trustworthy, Be-careful to sign up with icabbi
Warning, Anyone looking to sign up with Icabbi very careful. There are so many hidden facts which you get to know after paying set up fee around £1400-£1500 excluding VAT.
Their sales manager will keep chasing you up to sign a contract with them. Once you stuck then there is no way to get out of it and also they sales manager don’t tell you that if you’re a new company then you have to sign guarantor agreement, you get to know this after you have paid initial set up fee.
Here are list of things doesn’t work once you are in contract with icabbi. Never sign-up 2 year contract with icabbi, otherwise this is what you have to face.
1. Icabbi app doesn’t work properly on IOS (apple) device, it’s only works on android. This is they won’t tell you in advance.
2. Icabbi dispatch system only works better on chrome browser, not in other browser. this is what they tell you once you are in contract.
3. Icabbi integrated third party software called (Airpay) to send a link to customers to make a payment by credit or debit card or by apple pay which doesn’t work properly. If you ask them to solve the issue then they tell you it’s not in our control at the moment but our development team will look into this in future but don’t know when ?
4. They make false promise for customer app to be build within 8-12 weeks, it’s over 9 months, our app is not ready yet. Their development team so lazy to make things correct. When you test your app, if something is not right and you ask them to make things correct then it’ll ages when they back to you with update and still not guaranteed what you ask for they will do it or not.
5. Now there new app is coming which will take another 8-12 weeks to build but still not guaranteed when ?
6. If you ask them to add your business terms of service, privacy policy and licence user end agreement which is prepared by your legal team, then they tell you can’t add on app. They will add their own privacy policy which doesn’t make any sense.
7. They tell you that customers can make a payment by credit or debit card in car by sms- link sent by driver (which wasn’t working from day one, raised issue many times, all they keep saying they looking but nothing happened but it took them over 8 months make it work).
8. If customer wants to make a changes to existing booking for example changing date or time, when make changes to booking, customer only gets message once, (your booking updated), customer won’t get further text if changes made again to same booking. If you ask them then they tell you w’ll look in future and they can’t help now with this issue.
9. Icabbi booking system doesn’t allow you use google maps, if you ask them then they will tell you that they’ll forward your views to developer. They will see in future.
10. They tell you that we provide support 24/7 days a week. If you call them during weekends then they charge separate hourly rate which is more than £70/h, so be careful.
There are so many do’s and don’ts which they tell you that we can’t to make things work properly. I do not wanted to write this but today I’m helpless to write this because nobody else should suffer.
