I’ve been shopping with Ideal World for quite a few years now, I would have rated them 5 stars. But now I’d give them 1.
I purchased trainers in June which I returned next day as they had sent wrong size, I was paying in two payments. Still haven’t got first payment back, This morning they have taken another payment. Disgraceful they have left no contact for customers now they have gone bust.

I returned items on the 22nd of June no refund and now the company has gone bust. They are still taking monthly payments for returned items, how can that be legal??? I feel for the staff but also all the customers who have been ripped off. 😡

They were/are all fantastic they made shopping safe & easy for me as I'm disabled & struggle I am gutted to find them off air they were always very pleasant on the phone & went the extra mile in helping me to place my order I miss them.

Cowboys absolutely disgusting placed orders took my money £100 and two days later tried see if they had been dispatched to find company gone bump they knew this was going happen it's daylight robbery

I bought a barbecue a few weeks ago and it arrived promptly. I bought a pair of trousers less than half price and they are brilliant. I think I just got in before they went bust. My husband phoned their customer services on 19th June and they were very helpful. I’ve used IW many times over the years with no problems. I think they may have lost a lot of their customers to their main rival which is thriving and had 4 tv channels now. I’m sorry to hear of the problems people have had recently.

I ordered items to the value of £50 now they have gone bust, but no refund, and no items delivered, surely this can't be lawful! How do I get my money back!

Bought a rug doctor on the 1st July had email to left the warehouse on the 3rd with tracking the track has said not even got it still waiting for my iteam 2 day after had email say left go in to administration so have my money but I have no item no way of contact them as email say can take 14 day for response can't call either this is disgusting take people money nowing full well that not going to provide the good

No wonder they've gone bust. Bought from them last year, 1/3 items delivered and took way longer than 3-5 days. They use Evri and their deliverers were awful just shoved it through letter box, and it was glass! We were also in but they said we weren't, we have a loud doorbell which they didn't bother ringing. Going under was bound to happen with their obismal customer service and consumer negligence. I eventually got all my items but was a farce and a struggle which you don't need when they're the ones providing the service and have made the mistake. And they were gifts for special occasions that people had to wait for. They have no care about anyone apart from taking people's money.

Yeah they have gon into administration, apparently owe billions, but they are still taking payments from my bank cant even get onto my account now at all it should be classed as theft its disgusting.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Paid for items bought on 1.7.23 soda stream and accessories. Thieves have gone bust 3 days later. They must of known this was happening and have taken money from customers in good faith. Absolutely fuming🤬🤬🤬

2 weeks ago I purchased a garden furniture set 600 pound, what a bunch of thieving con men they knew they were going under so they robbed me now I have lost that money. If this is lawful it's time the law was changed, I'm a pensioner and I'm gutted!

Well I've been shopping with ideal TV for a long time. Because I live out on the sticks, let's just say!! Not much in shopping here..v remote

Their service is awful, they keep you're money as for returns for well over 36 days.
Their aggression is worse, and not any real customer services in essence.

They argue that you ordered this item, when incorrectly one gets the wrong one.

Furthur more, the quality checks on some goods are awful, sub standard. And cause a pain to re send and discuss. But sending via Argos is a great service

They NEVER respond to emails, letters or queries.

I hope they go bust and servrs them right if what's happened is that. I can't get my refunds on orders I sent back.

Crap customer service, awful response to a query!! Do not get sucked in to the sales pitch!!!! Crap, crap, crap!!!!!!

I bought a watch from Ideal world for approximately £180, but it never turned up so they said they would reimburse the money but they only sent me an ARN number but I didn't have a clue how to use it so I sent an email asking how to use it but they never replied, so I rang them, after about 5 failed calls I eventually got through and they said to just take it to your bank and they will reimburse me, Barclay bank said they don't use ARN numbers, all I can do is to fill in a claim form, that was 2 months ago and I'm still waiting, in the meantime I bought another expensive watch with a 4 month payment plan, I made the first 3 payments but I fell ill and had to take time off work and I was unable to make the final payment because I'm only getting Statutory sick paywhich is only £109 a week, to cut a long story short, Ideal world have now put the bailiffs on me instead of taking the money that they owe me to make the final payment, unbelievable. The reason I'm off work is because of anxiety and depression and now I've got the extra anxiety and stress caused by Ideal world to deal with, thanks Ideal World.

I had an order for a few items on my delivery day I was at a funeral and not home on arrival at home got a text saying items were delivered turns out it was signed by me and left at my door joggers and a tissot watch I have been pd for joggers first payment back but to this date 8 June no replacement of watch now I get a e mail to say I've went over my time for my claim I've sent 14 emails about this missing watch as I'm 72 I just think the treatment I've had is a disgrace I sent all claim forms back to them in time as digital claim form was not working on my phone so they sent out to me and sent straight back next day claim forms but why pay out on one item and not replace the other item as requested this is ongoing from 24 april2023 if not sorted out they are losing a good customer

This isn't the ideal world you see on the tv this is a scam company pretending tp be the tv show there's another page on here for ideal world that seems t0 be more genuine this is ideal world are scammers

Ordered some plants. The way they were packaged caused one pit to be bent and broken. Contacted IW for replacement and they asked for proof. Sent pictures 4 times and they keep saying can’t open them, so their hard/software is now my problem as they won’t do anything till they get pics which I keep sending. Realise the company they use is Garden Bargains. Had problems with them before, so won’t be using either company again, IW just lost a good customer for the sake of 15 quid. Well done

I bought a faulty item from them so escalated it through PayPal. They said to return it for a refund, so I did and they sent confirmation that I was getting a refund. They did this to make the PayPal case close and never sent me my refund, so effectively stole my money
