Contacted ILAWS to arrange will and Power of Attorney. Their response was prompt and arrangements made to speak to Neil Jones. I was able to do it all over the phone, so quick and easy to do. Prior to call I received letter about information I would need to provide. I also received a call a couple of days beforehand to confirm time and date still suited. This felt efficient and reassuring. I had contacted ILAWS after 2 local solicitors hadn't responded to my enquiries so was particularly impressed and pleased with their response.

Neil Jones explained everything precisely and in everyday terms making it easy to understand.

Neil Jones visited us today regarding power of attorney and a will for my mother in law . Everything was so straightforward and my mother in law was really at ease with Neil’s way of explaining everything to her . She now has peace of mind and also was pleased with the costs .

I booked an appointment 8 weeks ago, the day before the appointment I received an email to say the time was no longer suitable for them, no explanation or apology. I was asked to bring forward the appointment by 1 hour, I made alternative arrangements to ensure we’d be home & agreed the new time. I was also told if this wasn’t suitable the appointment would be terminated, not even an option to reschedule!

The day of the appointment I phoned 1 hour after the appointment was rescheduled for & was told an email had been sent to reschedule for another day, which I never received & was told ‘well it was sent’ also said they tried to phone, no missed calls or voicemails.

Was told the operations manager would call me back, still waiting!

I have friends who have made an appointment for next week, they have now cancelled & we will both be using proper solicitors now.

Absolutely disgraceful customer service, I wish I had read reviews. Stay away from this company!

The person came to the house explained everything and answered all questions. He didn't rush and was very polite.

We had talked about making wills for a long time but never got round to it, then my husband was diagnosed with cancer and was in the last stages of life. I phoned Ilawsscotland to request a home visit. Neil Young came to the house on the appointed date and time. As well as being punctual, he was very helpful explaining thing and also put us at ease. Due to my husbands condition he rushed our wills through and we had them completed and signed within a week. I never thought we could have got through this process so smoothly and quickly. I can only thank Neil profusely for the work him and the team did for us. After this experience I have advised my family to use this company and get their wills completed.

making a will was something we always spoke about but never seamed to get round to, my wife contacted ilawsscotland to make a home appointment with one of their representatives. Neil arrived on the date and time arranged to discus our requirements. Neil explained all the legal jargon very clearly (in layman's teams) and we opted for there, property protection trust, power of attorney, and will, it was like a weight had been lifted of our shoulders when we signed up, (peace of mind), Neil throughout the process was very knowledgeable regarding everything, and we were not rushed or pressured into any contract he made sure we understood everything we were signing up to. I have never posted anything before but thought I needed to take the time to write this. thanks again Neil and ilawsscotland for us finally now having peace of mind.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Shonagh who was extremely supportive and helpful to my aging in-laws who had made a number of mistakes in their POA and wills. After speaking with Shonagh it was sorted quickly at a cost that was right for them. Shonagh I would like to thank you personally for your patience and help

After getting in touch with this firm to arrange for wills and power of attorney, a representative came to the house to help us make the arrangements. When we received our documents to be signed we still had a few queries. I emailed the office as I am hard of hearing. Within minutes I had a call from Gwen Wright to answer my query and could hear her clearly on the phone. I had to email her about 3 times and she phoned straight away each time. I cannot praise Gwen Wright enough, she was so helpful and friendly.

My mum had Neil out to her home today. She wanted to sort her POA and Will. She had been putting this off for quite a while and after Neil’s visit she wonders why she was so worried about Neil was very patient and took his time explaining everything to her. She also said it was a very reasonable cost and is very happy with everything now being in place. Thanks Neil

I contacted Ilaws on behalf of my daughter who wanted to do a Power of Attorney. I spoke to Arthur on the phone, excellent and kind telephone manner and came across as caring and actually interested in what I had to say. We were assigned Neil Jones. Unfortunately we had to cancel twice due to personal matters, but both times with rescheduling, Arthur contacted me to make another appointment. He has the best telephone manner. Today we had our appointment with Neil Jones. He was friendly, forthcoming with information and made my daughter who has autism and anxiety, feel at ease. The whole process didn't take that long and everything was explained fully and in a way that was understandable for my daughter. Neil did an exemplary job and my daughter and myself are grateful for you taking on our case. Thanks again. Anyone looking for poa or anything legal should use Ilaws. They are by far the best company out there.

Neil came to my mum and dad house today to help us set up Power of Attorney for my dad. Neil has visited before to sort of my mum and dad's Wills. This went so smoothly so I knew I wanted you guys to deal with the Power of Attorney too. Neil was very friendly and helpful. Thanks again. You have made a difficult situation/reality so reassuring. Had Neil visit my home to arrange power of attorney, fully explained the process from beginning to end, so much easier than I had anticipated, only needed basic details to begin with. He will do what needs done legally send out forms to be completed & signed nothing to worry about. Cost also was very fair compared with other quotes I've had for the same type of service. Would recommend I law Scotland services.

Ross visited my dad at home today. He could not have been anymore helpful, pleasant, efficient & knowledgeable. Got dad's power of attorney sorted he was very well organised & professional. We had a few giggles and that put myself and dad at ease. Top marks Ross & thank you,job well done.
