I chose IMY Legal over Premier Property Lawyers, even though Premier was offering me £300 less in overall conveyancing fees and told legal search fees for £300, whereas IMY Legal charged me £600. I initially selected IMY Legal because they are an Asian firm, thinking communication would be easier. However, my experience was extremely disappointing.

Throughout the process, my solicitor, Naveed, rarely answered calls and had a consistently rude and aggressive tone. He showed no urgency despite my repeated emails and calls, even after I clearly explained my difficult living situation. I was continuously misled about the timeline—what was promised to be completed in 2-2.5 months kept getting extended to 4 months and about to extend 5th, causing me severe inconvenience.

Due to their lack of professionalism and constant delays, I walked away from the deal—wasting my money on legal searches, surveyors, and mortgage advisor fees, as well as four months of my time. When I finally decided to pull out, they even suggested completing the purchase with incomplete legal work, which I would have to fix later at my own cost.

If you expect good service, timely communication, and professional behavior, AVOID IMY Legal. Go with them only if you want to be ignored, misled, and treated rudely.
