Unsolicited AI voice calls wanting me to add them to their Whatsapp. No one should have to opt out of something they never opted in to.

Indeed.com blows my mind.
As an employer, they can essentially terminate your business. We are dependent on regularly hiring a wide range of uniquely talented people.

We have recently found out that if there is a problem and you try to work with them, it is impossible. After 20 years of posting ads, they suddenly said they would not allow us to post ads any longer! Out of nowhere.
They gave a few clues; we responded and fixed the specific items. They still said we could not post ads. Our business is unique, and Indeed is the only true way to recruit and hire staff.

We tried everything we could think of, as they were cryptic as to why they would not give us a reason.

Finally, I'm wondering if there is just some mean, cranky person in their review department getting their jollies from making people miserable? I do not understand. Resorting to begging has had no results.
Are we in the Stone Ages here?

What they are doing is inhumane, unprofessional, and not akin to a decent society. It feels like it's time for another similar vendor: a business opportunity. Or, Indeed.com: monitor and clean up your review department. Aka trust and Security. It's running afoul. Not Democratic at all. Sorry to say. We tried 6 separate times to professionally and reasonably problem-solve. Sad.

Absolutely shocking service. Enshitification at it's finest. They just disabled our account with over £2K credit left of it because the account manager messed up setting it up on their system. This has been going on for about 1.5 years. I complained, escalated it, asked for a different account manager, just to be ignored. We have not been able advertise for several days now. On top of it, I can't even get into the account now as they are sending the code to a random phone number instead of our e-mail address. The number on the website to call does not work.

I keep receiving unwanted spam voicemail from this organisation, despite never having had any business relationship with them. What's more annoying is that it's obviously a pathetically bad AI voice generator. Even were I jobhunting these would be the last people I would use.

You have to prove every five minutes that you are still the human being you were 5 minutes ago! Constant anti-bot checks.

Swathes of ageist job postings that never get taken down.

I can see why there's so many more job sites now and there's got to be a better one.

If you click on a job, now it goes into a sidebar rather than the page. Annoying. Also, it fails to tell you how long the job posting has been up.

There's a weird notice when you use the site/try to give reviews now. Trying to cover themselves.

You used to be able to filter out recruitment agencies, but now they have removed this facility so you are inundated with a multitude of jobs that either don't fit what you are searching for or simply don't exist. A recent search gave me 75 jobs, 3/4 were recruitment agencies.
The same jobs appear regardless of if you have hidden them as in, I you hide it on the Ap, it will show up again on the website. Archiving details in the Ap is near on impossible as it doesn't do anything.
All user control has been removed, making it near on impossible to use in the same quick manner that it used to be.

I do believe most of the jobs advertised on indeed are fake . Most of the applications submitted we can see are not seen by employers . Some are send and we get a reply after 4/5 minutes that your application was unsuccessful . They all seem to want to keep our personal information . I advise anyone when applying to give less information is possible about some details like home address / name and so on . There need to be a more strong regulation for the employees to advertise jobs because most of them are a scam or they advertise the jobs because they have too but they will give the job to someone that knows someone that works internally , I know this because I worked previously with a company that advertised the jobs but they got most of the time internally applications so most of the time most of the people are unemployed never get a chance .

A part the fake or absent jobs, I got deleted a genuine review about Gaucho Restaurants which since October the company it’s now belonging to a new one named Rare Restaurants by abusing the fame as best working places when in reality it’s the complete opposite. I’ve lost good opportunities with extra money to accept their fake options. I’m glad to see that I’m not alone and soon I will also post a video of myself by explaining my frustrations as professional caterer and hospitality worker.

I put my CV for a specific job and specifically unticked the box for recruiters to find me, but the amount of spam and scams on my phone I received after that was ridiculous! As I never give this number I knew it was coming from their website. I have contacted them asking them if they'd been hacked and why my private details had been used, but their answer was not convincing. I deleted my account and asked them to delete all my details but that was not straightforward. It took other exchanges to get the confirmation of the deletion of my details on all their associated websites, but since then no fake jobs and requests to ask a number of WhatsApp. About 4 months later, I was checking with a friend and saw the same ads I'd see before. This means fake job offers, which I knew as some were just too good to be true. I would not recommend using this platform that seems to be used by many fraudsters preying on people in need of jobs/incomes.

I have now made towards a dozen complaints to the ICO. Every time I block a number they use a new one. It requires effort but clearly the ICO is no threat so why not request your GDPR file? There will come a point where the admin defeats them. include a 'please forget me request' and any further calls amount to a further breach by Indeed - why does this organisation think that annoying the hell out of people will encourage those people to use Indeed?

My personal details have been abused and now I am bombarded with scam phone calls from a robotic womens voice saying she is from Indeed. I am absolutely furious about this….you have no right to invade peoples privacy because I applied for one job!

Absolutely terrible! fooled into believing there are hundreds of people waiting to fill your role and you get bombarded with applicants who are zero of a match to your job advert. AVOID at all costs.

Had account for a week and paid £270 for nothing

I continually get calls from Indeed asking me to contact them re a job. When you call the number it says the number is not in service! Their adverts are so annoying!

Slow and difficult logging in process. Kept asking for too many personal details.
I have tried over twelve times to leave a review for former employer: each one rejected, no explanation. If they want honest facts about companies, why do they keep rejecting them?
As with other comments, Indeed seem determined to data harvest.
Many of the jobs are out of date before Indeed even post them. Annoyingly, the 'quick apply' process usually means submitting on Indeed, then being sent to the companies real website, and having to fill everything in from scratch. Becomes tedious, quicker to go direct.
Also, the search filters becoming infuriating! The suggested jobs bear no resemblance to what I set. Keeps pushing up totally unsuitable roles, miles away. No matter how many times I click to dismiss, they come back up. Sort it out.

This website is subject to huge amounts of identity theft and Indeed are not taking sufficient measures. Steer clear and definitely don't post your CV there.

Indeed is a shame for all the honest workers that use it. They reject company reviews despite only because they are 1star, even if you don't use bad words, insults and so on, even if you just wrote your honest experience and you write it and write it again and again thet will keep rejecting it. I am starting to think that they are paid to remove certain reviews from some companies as this is not acceptable, as you do not allow people to review honestly so that other people can be warned if for example that place doesn't work as it supposed to be. Why does Indeed cover for companies that work illegally? When do that they became crminal as well.
Moreover if you report illegal activity or discriminatory ads they don't do nothing. This company must be under investigation.

Used to be my go to for job hunting. Now just a frustrating mess trying to access my account.
Bot doesn't take number from email, try again and 'too many requests' message, try later. No, sort it out that it takes the number YOU sent me. I want to check my account NOW!!!!

Call centre options are so limited you cannot deal any queries. The system asks you two questions and then just puts the phone down by saying "thansk for calling and good luck". Appauling.
