Poor customer service and no reminder…
Poor customer service and no reminder about paused subscription which meant they sent items I didn't want and refused me to return the item to get a refund.

Great product
Great product. I’ve used it for few years now. Take three tablets with water just before bed. My skin is plump and healthy for my age as is my hair and nails. Think my joints benefit too. Highly recommend

I don't see any difference between the tablets....I used to have a gel ones...and it's was more stronger.

Hi Andrea,
Results vary between individuals, but we would always suggest that it can take up to 12 weeks to see results, the key is consistency, that you continue to take the daily dose as recommended. Some people have reported results in the first couple of weeks.
We have a specialised capsule designed to our specification that protects the collagen peptides from the digestive action of the stomach. All other liquids and powders, and in fact other tablets do NOT protect the peptides and therefore are susceptible to being digested. This means although you are taking in 10g of collagen peptides, a lot of this will be broken down well before they reach the small intestine.
With us, the dose of 627mg that we use has a much higher bioavailability, therefore you have a better absorption on repeatable and consistent dose. This was the dose used in the independent clinical trial that was carried out on our specific formulation and the result was 98% of our cohort, which was 116 women aged between 30 to 60 years had a statistically significant positive result in at least one or more dermatological skin measure.

Not convinced
I researched this as the best of the collagen supplements but have to say that after 6 months of taking, am not convinced of any improvement in skin, hair or nails. My main concern was skin ageing and I cannot see that collagen has improved elasticity or reduced signs of skin ageing in any way. All comms and other contact with the business were excellent.

Hi Cate,
Our capsules work from the inside out, your body may be using the collagen in places that "need" it more than your skin. Various factors can lead to results taking longer, for instance a lack of Vitamin D, most people are deficient so a good vitamin D supplement will help in this regard. Lack of zinc can also be a contributor, this can be got from your diet with avocados & blueberries for example. Both of the above help with the laydown of collagen.
If you have an active lifestyle, your collagen use is going to be higher than someone not as active, your muscles and joints will be using a bit more collagen. This may also delay your aesthetic results.

An all round winner
I've been taking Ingenious collage for about a year now and can definitely see improvements as my hair and nails are stronger and, as I'm entering mt fifties, my skin certainly seems to be fairly plump and not too lined as yet. I also hope it's doing some good internally as well but I guess that's harder to measure. Orders are easy to place and you can amend payment / delivery dates as needed. I've had a good experience with their customer service on the odd occasion too - and you don't get bombarded with emails verging on harassment. An all round winner for me - I would def recommend this product to anyone (and have done already).

The product works for a start ,my nails are 100% back to their strength, I can wear varnish again without it flaking off in one day .

I can't give an accurate review as having only used this product for almost 2 months I haven't noticed any improvements whatsoever. Perhaps it takes longer to see any results.

Since I’ve been taking this supplement…
Since I’ve been taking this supplement I’ve noticed a marked improvement in my skin, pores appear more refined and my nails are super strong compared to before my taking the supplement. I’ve been taking the supplement for 6 months and am 68 this year, so I plan to continue.

Love this collagen no nasty flavours!
