I started taking ingenious beauty for arthritic pain
I started taking ingenious beauty capsules because I heard collagen was good for arthritis. I was having pain in my thumb joints on an almost daily basis. I started taking ingenious and the pain in my thumb joints started reducing after about 6 weeks. Now I only get pain in the thumb joints occasionally, after taking collagen for a year. When I forget to take the collagen, the pain increases. I also noticed the wrinkles on my chest reducing after about 7 or 8 months. I don't notice a change on my face, but the results for my chest and thumbs make it totally worth it, plus I am in my 50's. I have taken it now for a year and I take slightly more than the directions on the pack.

Be wary of taking if you have eczema
I’m mid-40s and my skin has started to worsen in the last 3-4years, with increased sensitivity and increasing eczema which I believe is primarily due to hormonal changes. I started Ingenious marine collagen on subscription 12months ago; I liked their credentials. Since taking Ingenious I noticed stronger nails & no more stiff or achey joints. But I didn’t notice improvements to my skin, only gradual worsening of sensitivity and eczema flare ups suffering a particularly bad flare up since Easter which just would not clear up despite oral & topical steriods. Eventually I went onto an anti-inflammatory diet, which worked to completely clear up my eczema 12+months ago within 3weeks, before starting Ingenious. This time I was on the diet for 3months, plus other strict measures to avoid triggers which have worked in the past, and still my skin wasn’t healing. I’d also had terribly red, itchy, sore eyes for months & months despite seeing GP & prescribed oral steroids & antibiotics, they didn’t clear up. I decided to stop taking Ingenious to see what happened, as well as staying on my anti-inflammatory diet. Within 2weeks my eczema is almost healed & my eyes are almost normal.
I really wanted this collagen product to improve my skin but ironically it was causing me such pain & upset. I’m unsure if it’s the marine collagen or the other 2 ingredients, or a combination. Not Ingenious’s fault, because eczema can have all sorts of triggers, and the practical part of subscribing worked really well - it’s been a great service - but please eczema sufferers or those with sensitivities, be aware!

I am sorry to hear this. It is quite unusual as we have many customers with eczema w have had a positive experience from using our capsules, but as you said there are many triggers and we are all different and unfortunately not one shoe fits all.

Is it working?
I was advised to take some collagen …I don’t see much difference to my face ( I am 76) so I cannot say how well ingenious is working! I will persevere . It cannot do any harm…

Having taken Ingenious for around a…
Having taken Ingenious for around a year I have to say that the difference in my skin is incredible. I’m 57, I get taken for early 40’s all the time. I’ve had zero cosmetic surgery and yet get taken for my daughter’s sister all the time (they roll their eyes at this!) 😀

Not suitable for me
I have been taking these tablets for a few weeks, but unfortunately they make me feel bloated. I went for a three month subscription. Apart from the side effects in the time I’ve been taking them, I have seen no difference but the but the company says it takes six weeks.

Expensive for results not visible
Expensive for me. Giving it a good chance take at night. Not feeling any difference after exercise for muscle recovery. Taken for nearly a year and not noticing anything in skin appearance at all. Would say skin elasticity on my body getting worse. Age spots still on hands and face hard to tell if they are fading. Will give it a little longer, effects I know will not be immediate.

I am sorry to hear that you are not seeing the results you expected. There are factors that may attribute to lack of results, such as not taking the recommended daily dose consistently, but this is not the case with yourself.
A lack of Vitamin D can also be a contributing factor, most people are deficient, so if you are not already taken this, I would suggest you might want to include this in your daily routine. Zinc also helps with the laydown of collagen and can be got from including avocados and blueberries in your diet.
If you have quite an active lifestyle, your use of collagen will be higher than someone who is not as active.

I’ve been taking these capsules for…
I’ve been taking these capsules for about 3 years now and am still extremely happy with the results, my skin is soft, plump and fine lines and wrinkles are reduced.
Hair and nails are also a lot stronger.
I have also benefited from a £20 discount on my subscription renewal a couple of times after referring friends to these little capsules of magic! I will certainly be continuing with my regular 3 monthly subscription.

Visible Improvement
My skin is much improved since taking Ingenious Collagen. I regularly get comments as fine lines appear reduced and my skin is glowing. I can’t see that I will ever stop taking it now!

Knee pain has gone…
I have been using Ingenious collagen for about 18 months now. Previously, when I walked a long distance, I would find my right knee would become very sore. Within a few months of starting Ingenious, I was able to walk without any pain. It has made such a big difference, I recommend it to everyone. I’m 52 years old.

Best collagen on the market
I have been using Ingenious for several months and have noticed a definite improvement in my skin, hair and nails. My skin looks and feels plumper, and fine lines have disappeared. My nails are stronger, and my hair is shinier. I have used other collagen brands for years and haven't noticed the results I can see now. This one is the best.
