I’m soon to be 57, love this collagen
I’m soon to be 57. I have been using this for about 1.5 years. Wouldn’t be without it
Nails are stronger and healthier and hair fall has reduced .
My skin is the most noticeable . It’s firmer and clearer .
Easily taken before bedtime I’ve had no issues whatsoever.
The team are reliable. Caroline is quick to respond if ever I’ve wanted to ask anything. The subscription arrives every month without fail,on time.

Ingenious collagen
I like these collagen ones and my skin is really good but can’t say it is just these because I take other supplements too , very active lifestyle and take care of my skincare so can’t really say they working me but I feel good that I am taking hydrolysed collagen 🙏😊

What is unique about our capsules is that we protect our collagen peptides; we have a specialised capsule designed to our specification that protects the collagen peptides from the digestive action of the stomach.
All other liquids and powders, and in fact other tablets do NOT protect the peptides and therefore are susceptible to be digested. This means although you are taking in 10g of collagen peptides, a substantial amount is at risk of breaking down well before they reach the small intestine.
With us, the dose of 627mg that we use has a much higher bioavailability, therefore you have a better absorption on repeatable and consistent dose.

The required daily dose can be found on our website and on the packaging. You can take the recommended amount of capsules whenever suits you best, it does not need to be separated into 4 times. For Ingenious Active you take 4 capsules daily for Ingenious Beauty the recommended daily dose is 3 capsules.

Poor poor shelf life
**I never said the product was compromised. I am simply trying to point out that if I didn't take them right away they would expire. I have other supplements that have a better window of time before expiring. Not 4 months.
Poor poor shelf life. I got a little behind on taking them and they were expired because I didn’t take them as soon as they came.

This product is outstanding! I have new hair growth. A full on front fringe. My nails are super strong and long. I sleep so well too so would love to know if this is the collagen too? My skin is starting to look brighter 6 months in. A must have!!!

Something I need for me!
One day I woke up (in my mid to late 40’s) and didn’t recognise myself in the mirror. My face had aged a decade overnight,
so from that point I was determined to work on the inside as hard I had tried (with lotions and potions) on the outside. I researched the
research and found Ingenious Beauty. Truth is I don’t know where my skin would be now
without it because I have taken this supplement for a few years BUT I am convinced that this has worked for me.
I no longer have morning mirror fear, I wake up and actually smile when I look in now. The supplements have managed to put my aging face in reverse gear. For now and the foreseeable future this is something I need for me.

10 months in .......
I have been taking this consistently for about 10 months. So far my already thick hair has got thicker and my skin looks more lifted however wrinkle depth is unchanged. No real impact yet on joints.

Hi Helen,
Results do vary between individuals, consistency is key that you continue to take the recommended daily dose.
If you have an active lifestyle, your collagen use is going to higher than someone less active, your muscles and joints will be using a bit more collagen, this can delay aesthetic results.
A lack of Vitamin D and it is quite common could also be a contributor, it may be worth introducing a good vitamin D supplement if you are not already taking one.

Happy with purchase
Purchased because this brand was recommended by Liz Earle in one of her podcasts. The capsules are specially formulated not to dissolve in the stomach, thus losing some of the collagen benefits. They capsules also contain small amount of Astaxanthin which attracted me. I do think they are a lot more expensive than other brands, but they are not like other collagen products.
So far, I am happy. I am sure more benefits will become apparent the longer they are used - new hair growth, nail growth and skin cycle.

Best thing ever!
Since taking Ingenious, my hair, skin & nails feels so much better. I had stopped taking them for a while as got muddled up with dates and prescription etc
It definitely makes a huge difference 😀 taking them daily. I usually tare mine just before bed time!

Early days
I’ve been taking these capsules for about 6 weeks and to be perfectly honest, I haven’t noticed any difference yet. Early days I know, but you did ask for a review.

Results vary between individuals, but we would always suggest that it can take up to 12 weeks to see results, the key is consistency, that you continue to take the daily dose as recommended.
In some cases, your body may be using collagen in places that 'need' it more than your skin, hair, and nails in the first instance. This will inevitably lead to the visible signs of improvement taking longer. Our clinical trial was carried out on a 12-week base, so one month in is still quite early to be seeing results.
A good vitamin D supplement helps with the laydown of collagen and many people are lacking.
