Robert H Ingersoll and his brother Charles founded the Ingersoll Watch Company, one of the oldest American watchmakers. The Ingersoll brothers were pioneers of industry and invention in the field of watchmaking. They devised and followed an ambitious plan: to offer Ingersoll watches to the general public at an affordable price, whilst maintaining real quality and credibility.
Based in New York City, each watch was initially produced by hand, but in 1892, thanks to Henry Ford, Ingersoll succeeded in developing a production line for pocket watches and wristwatches.
With high quality production, precision components and the very reasonable price of $1.00 (a day's wages at that time) the so-called ‘Dollar Watch’ was born.
The Dollar Watch was so popular that over one million were sold.
The Ingersoll Watch Company grew with the demand and made new advances in watch manufacturing; developing the functions and features of Ingersoll watches to create:
The smallest existing pocket watch.
‘RADIOLITE’: the first glow in the dark watch.
The first ever military watch, which was designed with the involvement of the armed forces.
The first character watch, which was commissioned by Disney to feature Mickey Mouse.
Ingersoll watches have been sold continuously since their inception and today the Ingersoll brand is renowned the world over.

They are Good watches but you can do better
So I am a watch and clock maker. The watches from ingersoll are beautiful and look the part. However, ingersoll was a watch maker in the USA back in the 1900 to about the 1970s. Unfortunately, the watches you are buying are Chinese made. I have had many ingersoll watches and they are good, but they are not from the old company but from China. I would not recommend buying ingersoll watches if you think you are getting something that from the old company and for some of the prices there are other watches that would be better built and still from China that would cost less.

Upon receiving your email we have followed this matter up with our carrier and have been advised that your order was held by customs in Australia, which has resulted in the delay. Although the order was dispatched on time, delays and customs holds are unfortunately beyond the control of both ourselves and our carrier.

THE RIGGER GENTS AUTOMATIC WATCH I17901
I recently purchased The Rigger Gents Automatic Watch I17901. I am very pleased with the purchase. It was exactly what I was looking for in a summer watch. I just wish they had made this model in orange and yellow. I would certainly buy them too.

We are very happy with the end result
We are very happy with the end result. The Service Centre arranged the spareparts for our discontinued model range broken watch with date, day and moonphase dial and repaired it. Sadly the logistics company and customs company made administrative mistakes, causing the international shipment to be returned to the repairshop, where this return was taking quite long... over 4 months so far... eventually after being patient, we carefully discussed the options with the Bhavin from the repair centre and after double checking they where able to recreate the watch and shipped it with a better logistics company in 2 days from uk to nl. We thought never to see the watch back again from customs... still hoping that the original safely returns to the repair shop so they can sell it, or get reimbursed by dpd/customs... either way they made my wife very happy :) thank you

I orderered the varsity watch
I orderered the varsity watch, i had minor problems with customs on my end, due to me placing the order to my work address. The Ingersoll team did not hesitate to help me out, professional service, and i got the order relatively quickly. I am very pleased with the quality of the watch, it is beautiful and works properly. Will definitely order a watch again in the future.

Not delivered Royal Mail let down again
Not delivered, Royal Mail are useless we are still waiting for the parcel and it has now missed the special occasion it was ordered for.
Your information is incorrect no delivery attempt has been made, a safe place is also left - there have been people in and the tracking shows no delivery attempt. The last message says it will be delivered on the 13th - yesterday and no such delivery was attempted or made.

Upon checking the tracking status on the Royal Mail website, it shows that a delivery attempt was made on 10 April; however, as no one was available to receive the parcel, it was returned to the local delivery office for re‑delivery. Royal Mail has since attempted delivery again, but as no safe place instructions were provided, the parcel has been returned once more to the local delivery office.
Please find the tracking link below confirming this information. There is also an option available to select how you would like to receive the parcel (re‑delivery or collection). Kindly confirm your preferred option so the parcel can be delivered or collected accordingly.
