Recently I attended the Charter Management Programme and had a great experience. From start to finish, the course was even more than I expected.
Through the theory shared, practical exercises and tools made available, I have taken so much away from the course.
Additionally, the support and inspiration from the course tutor (Louisa - who is fantastic) has also helped me clarify which direction I want to take my career.
I would highly recommend the programme to anyone looking to take the next step in their professional management development.

I attended the Finance for Non‑Finance Directors module back in January and really enjoyed the experience. The training was extremely practical and well delivered, making complex financial concepts easy to understand and directly relevant to my day‑to‑day role.
The sessions were engaging, with clear explanations and real‑world examples that helped bring everything to life. I came away with several useful takeaways that I’ve already been able to apply in my work.
I’d highly recommend this course to any non‑finance director looking to build confidence and improve their financial understanding.

As a company we always look to do some individual PD each year and I chose the Leadership Coaching and Mentoring programme. It was held over 4 days and was a brilliant experience all round. The tutor was brilliant and the group of people I did it with really bonded. The materials were good with lots of recommended reading and the follow up sessions for assignment writing have been good too. Thoroughly recommend.

The our Directors Role in Strategy Course exceeded my expectations. The content was relevant and useful, the venue comfortable and food great. Most importantly though, the course leader, David, was brilliant - really engaging, knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely do another InPD course again.

Having been a team leader for 3 years, I am keen to develop and grow in leadership and came across this course unintentionally. I had intended to join the Empowering Women in Leadership 'in-person' course however, the dates didn't work for me so I reluctantly joined the online version of the course. I was a bit nervous about getting less out of the training however, it was brilliant. I actually felt I probably got more from online than I would have in person as you got more chance to group up with different people. I'm sure we've all been on those in person courses where small groups are made and always work together, being online, that didn't happen at all with this. The course leaders, Alison and Victoria were both brilliant. They gave enough direction to encourage discussion without allowing the discussion to wander too far from topic.

My course had a mix of public and private sector and first line manager through to senior leadership so the wealth of knowledge and experience was great. We had break out rooms to discuss points and complete some coaching sessions too. A Whatsapp group was set up (for those wishing to join) which was a great way to keep in touch and share experiences with one another after the course too. All in all, I would highly recommend this course. Please don't be put off the online course too, brilliant trainers, a safe group for discussions and a great curriculum to support growth and development with the added bonus of a qualification after completing the coursework if you wish!

I found the Coaching and Mentoring Skills for Managers programme, delivered by In Professional Development, to be a highly worthwhile and impactful course. It broadened my understanding of coaching and mentoring and introduced practical techniques that I had not previously used.

What stood out most was the opportunity to explore the subject in depth through open discussion with both the facilitator and other participants. Sharing experiences and perspectives helped to bring the learning to life and encouraged thoughtful reflection on how coaching and mentoring can be used effectively in different settings.

The course also created a supportive and engaging learning environment, enabling me to form strong professional connections that have continued beyond the programme. I now feel more assured in my ability to support, coach, and mentor others, and I would strongly recommend this programme to managers seeking to develop their people-focused leadership skills.

A really positive experience - he course was well structured and covered diverse topics. The subject matter was interactive and the tutor well versed in both theory and practical application. Additionally, with such a small varied group it was an open environment with many perspectives contributed. Would recommend.

I had been considering completing my level 7 Coaching and Mentoring for some time and I really liked the flexibility of options offered. I spoke with a sales consultant who understood my difficulty with clearing my diary and worked with me on options.

I chose the online course and was apprehensive about maintaining focus and also not getting the same level of interaction as you do face to face. I had nothing to worry about as David (our course lead) was so engaging and ran the course at an appropriate pace. We had ample practice opportunities and used breakout rooms for this, throughout the week.

We also have a whatsapp group so that we can all keep in touch and support each other through the next step - the assignments.

I would highly recommend In Professional Development and would definitely learn with them again.

The course was well run, and the presenter (Charlie) was engaging and very well informed drawing on a career's worth of applied experience supported by studies.

The cohort were encouraged to expand on ideas through open discussion which largely improved the experience and moved it away from a PowerPoint focus to enjoyable group driven learning.

The caliber of attendees was high and the content was very applicable.

I've recently attended 'The Role of the Director and the Board' training module and as per previous training courses with INPD, I found the tutor knowledgeable and engaging and also valued the input of other people on the course. Will definitely be able to use what I have learnt in my current role.

I attended a 3 day in person learning event - very well organised, the trainer is very experienced and knowledgeable. I found her to be personable and engaging and learnt a significant amount both from a technical knowledge but also behavioural skills. The venue was perfect with all staff incredibly helpful. Communication pre, during and post training was great - brilliant service. Finally, I very much like the approach of a training event followed by the opportunity to attain a qualification afterwards and the support provided by INPD in this area is excellent.

The course was impressive, but what has really blown my socks off is the support given to your after completing the course. There are emails sent regularly and also a WhatsApp group that can be joined if you wish, no pressure. There is support from CMI as part of the cost of the InPD course too. Will definitely be doing some more courses with InPD in the future

I recently attended the two day AI for Directors and Organisational Leaders course, online. This is the second course I have attend and it did not disappoint. The contents was relevant, well prepared and delivered. Our instructor was engaging and presented the content exceptional well. I will be looking for new sessions in the new year and look forward to expanding my professional knowledge via IPD.

Good course delivered by an experienced trainer at the right pace. Very impressed. There are a lot of courses out there and finding the right provider can be challenging. Says it all that some of the attendees had undertaken courses previously with the same provider.

After recently attending a week long Directors accelerator course, i have nothing but positive feedback. Each day different and much to learn (each day can be taken as a 3 day course) and all tutors are very knowledgeable. All asked about our business, how do we bring these skills back to the company, without sounding like you just been on a course! We chose the face to face course, and the people we met brought different back grounds, challenges and goals, it was a sad time when we all finished the week! But such was the bond we are looking to visit each others business's in 2026 and reunite.

I completed the AI for Directors and Organisational Leaders course in November. The venue was excellent in London, the course faciliator was great, and overall found the course really worthwhile and interesting. I have taken a lot of practical steps away from the course which I can apply to our organisation. The cohort was really diverse and an interesting group and overall would highly recommend this course and learning through Inpd.

The 2 day course was very engaging and extremely informative. It was expertly delivered, a good balance between delivery and discussion/embedding of learning. Would recommend.

As a national transport manager with many years’ experience but very limited knowledge of AI, I approached this course with a fair amount of uncertainty. However, the AI for Directors & Organisational Leaders training course ran by In Professional Development turned out to be an eye-opening and genuinely valuable introduction to a subject that is becoming increasingly important in our industry. The trainer was excellent in the way he explained complex concepts in a way a true beginner like myself could understand.

I recently completed the Director-level leadership course with IN Professional Development, and I can genuinely say it was one of the most valuable professional development courses I’ve taken.

I’ll be honest, I’m usually quite pessimistic about training courses, as many stick rigidly to theory-based PowerPoint content and often struggle to relate to real-world challenges or answer the kind of problems you’re actually dealing with day to day. This course was completely different. It focused on real issues, real scenarios, and provided practical, effective tools that I’ve already started applying in my role with great results.

The sessions were engaging, well structured, and delivered by people with genuine leadership experience, not just textbook knowledge. Another huge positive was the open discussion with other course members; being able to share experiences, challenges, and solutions at director and senior leadership level added massive value.

I’d highly recommend IN Professional Development to anyone moving into senior leadership or directorship who wants practical tools, honest discussion, and measurable improvement, not just theory.

I joined the AI for Directors and Business leaders course with Martin Wright recently. Martin was very knowledgeable and gave good insight from his industry experience to complement the course materials. Venue was good with a range of food options/refreshments.
