Nothing short of exceptional service from Salmon Assessors. I am dealing with a buildings insurance claim at my property in London. They have gone above and beyond to support me! A considerate team who pick up the phone (no guarantee in 2026) and listen to the nature of the problem before explaining clearly and concisely how they can help. I would recommend them to anyone who needs professional support in making a claim.

Salmon Assessors Are outstanding! We were in a tough position being bullied by our insurers on a legitimate claim, as per most people I presume, but the knowledge and expertise provided by Salmon Assessors after we contacted them was out of this world. Our family suffered a devastating house fire which completely destroyed our home. The claim became extremely stressful and at times we felt as though we were being treated more like suspects than a family who had lost everything. After spending many hours researching loss assessors, we appointed Salmon Assessors, and it proved to be the best decision we made.
The insurers and their loss adjusters seemed to do everything possible not to pay the claim properly, both on the buildings and contents side. Throughout the process, Salmon Assessors stood firm, challenged them constantly, and refused to accept what we considered to be weak excuses and delays.
By the end, we were emotionally exhausted and simply wanted to take the money and get away from the insurance company because of the toll the whole ordeal had taken on our lives. Thankfully, the team persuaded us to allow them a little more time to negotiate further, reassuring us that the original offer would not be withdrawn. Within only a couple more days, they secured what will ultimately amount to a further six figure sum once the works are carried out, including VAT and other additional amounts the insurers had not wanted to pay.
Throughout the process, the relationship felt more like friends helping friends through an incredibly difficult time rather than simply a business arrangement. We could not recommend them more highly.

After initially being a bit sceptical, on recommendation from a friend I called Salmon Assessors for an insurance issue I was having trouble in resolving. I spoke to Jeff, who couldn’t have been more helpful. I was really impressed by his professionalism and efficiency. He advised me with great attention to detail on how to properly document and present evidence. Jeff explained the process in a way that was easy to understand and thanks to his expertise put me on the right track to resolve the issue. Whatsmore, he didn’t charge for his advice. A real gentleman - rare to find these days. It’s a five star from me!

I have recently experienced a disheartening experience with my home insurance provider and reached out to Salmon Assessors for help in acquiring a remedy.
Surprisingly, my call was answered by the owner Jeff Salmon who, after listening to a brief summary of my claim, advised that the value was not one they would normally handle.
However, he did ask that I provide a little more detail, after which he said he would ask one of his legal team to draft me a suitable letter of complaint, one in which I should seek a review and at the same time serve as a useful draft for the Financial Ombudsman.
I am pleased to have received this support from Salmon Assessors and would confidently commend them to anyone seeking support in the future.

I called Jeff this morning and by the end of the day he and his team had given me such helpful advice and even drafted a letter despite my claim falling below their minimum.
