I called to inquire about a claim I needed help with. Even though my claim didn't meet the criteria for their services, the team immediately offered guidance and provided me with a legal letter and instructions on how to use it for my claim. It's rare to encounter that old-fashioned customer service these days, and it certainly doesn't go unnoticed. I'd happily recommend them to others, and my only regret is that I couldn't get to work with them further.

I called for their services. Jeff clearly advices me I didn’t need a loss adjuster and advised me on how I should go about for my claim. We chatted for about 20 mins. Very honest and friendly chap. He also said if I am not successful to call him again and he would help me.

I originally called Salmon Assessors to employ their services on a whim whilst searching google. It’s the best call I could have made.
Never did I expect, in this day and age that people would’ve been so forthcoming with useful information without once asking me to “sign up”, tell me their fees or force me to use their services with some deviously cunning sales pitch.

I had a very positive experience and, in particular, speaking with Jeff. The advice was offered freely and without obligation, in fact, it was refreshingly candid in suggesting that I may not require their services at this stage if at all, while inviting me to get back in touch should matters develop or difficulties arise. Jeff was a pleasure to speak with — jelly babies’ preference over wine gums notwithstanding. From someone who found themselves in a bit of a pickle thanks to a burst pipe, give them a call, you will be better for it.

A flat was sold to me with a pre-existing leak which the freeholder was aware of. The freeholder refused to compensate me and the insurance company was offering me a negligible amount of compensation. I was very upset with the whole situation. I contacted Salmon Assessors. The person I spoke too understood what I was going through and was very positive to me. He could tell that I had been through a lot. He gave me much guidance and support over the phone. He said it was something that can be resolved, advised me what to do and then keep them in the loop if the matter has not been resolved.

The best call I have made!
Unbeknown to me — or perhaps I should have done a little more research — Salmon Assessors deal with much larger claims than my seemingly insignificant one. However, until I discovered this at the end of my conversation with Jeff, you would have thought I was placing a claim for my stately home!
He was so engaging and patient, listening to my tale of woe, asking questions and getting all the information he needed. I am sure he was extremely busy, but you would never have known. Even after Jeff kindly explained that my claim would not be viable for them, he still took the time to help and offer advice, for which I am extremely grateful.

Jeff Salmon & team were so helpful & generous with their time, when we needed advice on an insurance claim following a fire. We had a flood that affected my flat and the one below. Phoned this company and spoke to someone there who advised me that this was something that I would be able to sort out myself without spending money on a loss assessor. He gave me full instructions and confirmed that if if I were to encounter any problems, I should ring them and they’d get it sorted at no charge. Would definitely recommend them if you have a bigger claim.

In a very desperate time I was advised to speak to a loss assessor who would alleviate the stress of dealing with an insurance claim. I researched online and came across Salmon Assessors (via Martin Lewis’ website) I submitted my enquiry at around 11.59pm after having to vacate my inhabitable home due to a burst pipe (I was renting) Jeffrey called me straight away and I couldn’t believe how kind and supportive he was, to take the time out of his evening to help me. His advice was honest and clear and we now had a clearer plan in how to tackle the next few very difficult and stressful days. While he wasn’t able to take on our case, I’ll be forever grateful to Jeff for his on-call support. Highly recommend !

Superb response and service from Salmon Assessors. I phoned over the Christmas period expecting to leave a message - but my call was answered immediately. Then apologizing for the inappropriate date and time of my call I suggested we speak at a more convenient time. This was ignored and I was urged to explain my insurance claim issue. Having then been advised it would probably not be financially viable for a loss assessor to manage my claim officially - they offered to give me assistance free of charge! A great explanation of the claims process and excellent advice on how I should proceed. This was the sort of response I would hope to receive from a trusted friend - most unexpected to receive it from a commercial business. I'm beyond grateful to them.
