I strongly advise against purchasing from these cowboys

I strongly advise against purchasing anything from Ivy Shape.

I paid for a service that was never delivered. After chasing repeatedly, I was met with refusals to refund rather than any attempt to resolve the situation. No service, no product, and no reimbursement.

As a result, I have had no choice but to escalate the matter to Trading Standards and my bank. That alone should be a serious red flag for any prospective customer.

In my opinion, a business that takes payment, fails to deliver, and then refuses a refund shows a complete lack of professionalism and accountability. This issue could have been resolved quickly and reasonably, but instead it was ignored.

Based on my experience, I would not trust this company with your money. Proceed at your own risk.

Update - Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013:
• If a retailer cannot supply the goods, they must give you a full refund
• That refund must be issued without undue delay and within 14 days
• Being “out of stock” is their problem, not yours
• A refund does NOT require manager approval once they’ve failed to deliver

They took my money knowing stock was unavailable, that does breach unfair trading regulations.

@Ivy Shape I have given you all the detail so do not pretend and protest innocence to your illegal activity in the UK, our law governs us against a Belgium criminal taking money from unsuspecting customers. Absolute sharks.

Disgraceful service Ivy clothing

I had ordered in December a white top. But when it arrived , altho' the quality looked fine. The top was too small. I contacted them and was told they would send me a returns label. Didn't arrive. Contacted them again asking for returns label. Still no sign. Today I received a message telling me to download a pdf file. I presumed this was the returns label. But it was more like a delivery notice. Which I have already put back in with the goods. They now tell me that I can keep the top. They are not intending refunding me. But will offer me a percentage from my next order. Which will never happen. And then advise me that the postage will be in the region of €25 or €30. Where are this lot located. I foolishly presumed they were inside Britain somewhere.

Absolutely dreadful company

Absolutely dreadful company, they should be held an accountable for so many bad reviews. I ordered two raincoats initially in two colours as couldn’t decide, when I received them, (6weeks later), such poor quality and didn’t resemble the photos of my order. When I tried to ask for refund, I had to return at my own expense, £30 to China, or keep items and use money towards other items, which I decided to do. I ordered three tops, which never arrived. They still refuse a refund and have said I can order other items, but it’s a vicious circle. I wonder if Martin Lewis would look into this?

Since placing my initial review on Trust Pilot (above), I was contacted by IvyShape offering me a full refund providing I give a positive review. Took weeks for the refund to come through, but I’ve received it.
As this is not a store where you can try things on, I believe that a refund should have been offered from the start, I asked a number of times and I was told Ivyshape didn’t offer refunds.
After feeling so frustrated and annoyed I read reviews on TrustPilot, it seems I’m not the only one that has had these issues.

I am happy to edit (add to) my Trust Pilot review and after 5 months of asking for a refund, following my negative review, I did receive a refund, in return I had to provide a positive review on trust pilot, (which I consider to be blackmail), and I’ve received a number of emails now asking me to leave positive feedback, practically on a daily basis.

The only positive thing I can say is that I have received a full refund!

IvyShape- You have a lot to learn with regards to customer service. I will never use your company again so PLEASE STOP CONTACTING ME!

Item was too small, though full refund was arranged after a failed attempt to return- so if refund is required remain in communication with the company

Truly disappointing- although the suit…

Truly disappointing- although the suit I ordered was very good quality it was just way too small so when I had to return it it cost me over £30.
I ordered this back at the beginning of October and I’m yet to receive the rest of my refund despite emails.
I have sent another email today with regards to my refund and if not, I will be reporting this and taking this much further as I am so fed up of people taking advantage.

Scammers

I bought two pairs of gorgeous shoes from them. When they arrived over a month later, the shoes were not as ordered,,, they barely resembled what I bought, they were made of very cheap material, not leather as advertised X and were at least 3 sizes too small and very narrow (I have an average size 5.5-39) sized foot). I spent a month in ping pong communication asking for refund process details. I was finally given an address in Canada. Postage was £28, and I have today received the parcel back marked 'return to sender!

I have emailed them. But yet to receive a reply. Please please avoid these scammers

Don’t buy from this company

Don’t buy from this company. I fell for an Instagram advert (for the first time in my life) and really regret it. The way that the company operates is to send out cheap sub-standard goods from Asian warehouses under the pretence of being a Manchester-based company. Then when you want to return the rubbish clothing which is nothing like advertised you can’t because the cost of return is so high. Companies like this should be banned from being allowed to operate as they are basically scammers. Never again!

They sent me a rubbish dress that was nothing like the one I ordered and then made a million excuses why they would not give me a refund. This company is totally rubbish. Please don’t waste your money like I did. They are the pits

They ask for an order number, which of course, they didn’t give me so I can’t supply it. No packing note included in the parcel either. They look like they are so nicely trying to help when really they have no intention of providing a refund.

Dreadful company and shameless…

Dreadful company and shameless scammers. Bought a hoodie which looked quality in the picture, but turned out to be cheap pap on arrival. Poor quality that would be expensive at a fiver from a market stall. When I asked about a return, I was told it would be required to be sent to an address in china, Costing more than the purchase. Hassle free return policy, my foot! The sooner trading standards catch up with these charlatans, the better. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Wish I could rate them lower than one…

Wish I could rate them lower than one star because they are an appalling company to deal with if you need to return an item. I had to send something back because even though I had ordered correct size, it was way too small. I contacted them, eventually received an address to return it to and posted it back to Canada at a cost of £20.
However, due to some postal dispute (Canadian) it was returned to me!
I contacted company and have been fobbed off ever since!
I will advise anyone to never purchase from this company as you will never get money back if you need to !

If I could give them zero stars

If I could give them zero stars, that would be the review. Item never arrived and they then argued about giving me a refund, saying I needed to pay a “returned item” charge. I never received the item or the refund, I just gave them money to give me a headache.

Ordered two swimsuits from this…

Ordered two swimsuits from this company. Significant delay in being dispatched and no updates to make me aware they would arrive in two different packages. The company did not appear to know this and even when the second arrived, they were unaware of this. I have been trying for 2 weeks to get information on how to return these - poor quality and not as described to no avail. I would discourage anyone from buying anything from this shop.

Absolutely awful.

I would advise to never order from this company. After receiving my order it did not resemble the item I ordered in any way. The quality was extremmely poor. To return would cosy between £20 - £80 as it has to be shipped to Canada. They offered vouchers which are of no use as I would never order from them again. They should not be allowed to trade.

Good customer service

Bought some shoes. They were the wrong size and not the same as in the photo. They also took 2 weeks to arrive. Spoke to customer service who were very friendly and helpful, and have now given me a full refund. Can't advise on other items as I haven't bought anything else from them, but their customer service is good.

Option 1: Receive a 10% refund to your original payment method along with a voucher for 50% of the value of your swimsuits for future purchases. (No need to return the items.)
Option 2: Receive a voucher equal to the full value for use on any future order. (No need to return the items.)
Option 3: If you still prefer a full refund, you may return both swimsuits to our international warehouse in Canada. Please note you would need to cover return shipping costs (typically £20–£80). shocking company Please don't use

shocking company and I wish I read the trust pilot before purchase of a terrible trench coat. Its cheap and poorly made . Cost £39 . Probably cost 50p to make . You have to return via Canada to get money back and it costs £40 to return at your expense. Hence no one ever returns anything . avoid being scammed by them

Ivyshape - Don't waste your money on them

As said by other reviewers, the clear message is DON'T order from this company - the website looks good but the products are poor quality. I ordered a discounted 'suede' jacket - not real suede, no buttonholes just buttons on cuffs, pockets that are uneven. Have been trying to get a full refund since beginning of September. You will get AI-generated responses and offered partial discounts to keep the product, and asked to pay more than £50 to return the item. Great tip from another reviewer who used PayPal to open up a claim - I was just about to do the same when today, I was notified that a full refund was on it's way at last.
