I cannot recommend Steven enough! We started looking for our new car back in January and after looking at a few other details, came across Steven. From the very beginning his communication was second to none. His knowledge exceptional. We had a different car in mind but with his expertise, made us realise that the Stepwagon was the car for us. We will now not be going anywhere else for a car in the future.

Bought a Honda Stepwagon 2013 in black from Stephen back in September. No point in leaving a review after 24hrs due to still being 'in love' with a new purchase! So here we go...
This was a first rate transaction from start to finish, plenty of information, and the vehicle was (still is) in 1st class condition. Nothing was too much trouble to get sorted, communication was efficient and always rang back should I need to leave a message. This was the 3rd dealer I had visited and will be returning should a further vehicle be required - wife now wants one too!!

Where to start, I bought a Subaru Exiga and was new to imports and as anyone would be I was nervous. I was met with a very friendly, honest and patient man who made every effort to answer all of my questions. Lots of time was taken to view the car, explain features and quirks of Japanese cars. The test drive was good and no over bearing nature about testing or how to drive the car. If I had to give a single word to my experience with buying this car it would be honesty. I'm a simple man, I speak my mind and I feel that from the owner. No games, no salesmanship. The cars speak for them selves. It's been months since I bought the car and have waited to post this review but my feeling at the time was right, this is a dealer that can be trusted.

I recently purchased a Hyundai i20 2011 from Japan autos, and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Steven was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and genuine throughout the process. It’s been a month now, and the car has been absolutely flawless - no faults or problems whatsoever. The quality and condition of the car exceeded my expectations. I’m thrilled with my purchase and would highly recommend this dealer.

Steven was very helpful and had great knowledge about Japanese imports ,and very patient,changed the Japanese stereo to new one for me which is also to a high standard

Nice and easy to deal with. Made the changes as requested and made sure we knew how the new radio works and linked it to my phone.

Had a great experience buying our new Honda Stepwagon from SBT. We had plenty of time to see and drive the vehicle before we bought and were able to get the speedo/ in car entertainment all changed to UK and English which not everyone offers.
I'd highly recommend them as a trusty seller.

For a change (after many bad experiences) I found a good trustworthy car dealer Steven, he was very straightforward with anything that might need doing on the car. After a hand shake and no deposit Steven went on to get a MOT even when it still had 4 months left on it and paid out over three hundred pounds for two new wheels and did not put the price up, even when he had lots of calls for the car he could of ask for more, a man of his word and a hand shake. After driving the car for two weeks I am delighted with the car. I would not hesitate to recommend him and I would buy again from him without any worries. MM

Stephen couldn't have been more helpful. he was happy to answer any question no matter how daft it may seem and spent a long time walking us through the car and a proper test drive. There was no pressure to buy just a pleasant way to buy a car. I would recommend Stephen @japanauotos to anyone.

I saw the car on Internet auction site and having never bought a car this way before I was unsure what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised. I contacted Steven via email, he came back to me quickly, answered all my questions honestly, so when I went to view the car I knew what to expect. I took the car for a test drive and it performed really well, again Steven answered my questions about the controls , I was able to examine the car , he told me the cost of the vehicle tax , so nothing was hidden, the speedo was originally in kph being a Japanese import, he arranged to have this changed to mph and it had a new mot. At no time did I feel pressure to buy the car . I agreed a price , I was sent an invoice with the cost, I paid a small deposit and the agreed work was done .I had an issue with my bank, which I explained to Steven, he was patient .I transferred the balance when I collected the car . I was also offered another test drive , as it had been a little while since I last drove it . Steven kept in contact with me throughout the purchase . I was very pleased with the transaction, so much so that my daughter is looking at buying a car from them .

Great service Steven answered all my questions I did not feel any pressure to buy. He let me look at all options available.

Steven was fantastic from start to finish during this sale. Our Honda stepwagon is a dream, his aftercare package gave us reassurance but we haven't needed to use it. We have e recommended him to friends and would recommend him to anyone looking for an imported vehicle.

Bought a car from Japan Auto's nearly four weeks ago. Has been a dream to drive with no issues so far.
Prior to purchase I contacted Steven who gave me full information about the car over the phone and followed up with pictures via e-mail, I found that when I viewed it in person it was exactly as described and performed well on test drive.
I am very happy with my purchase, Steven was a joy to deal with, easy to contact and has answered after sale questions.
I recommend and would definitely consider buying from him the next time I need a new car.
