JD Gyms - Blackburn Opiniones 

The gym is great, the house keeping is poor. People fail to put their weights away, and the staff turn a blind eye to it. I've seen females struggle to take 400kg plus off the leg press, its wrong and management need to enforce gym etiquette.

Easy to join, plenty equipment. Nicely set out. Comfortable place to do a work out with no judgement from anyone. Good atmosphere.

I’ve just joined this gym and couldn’t be happier! It’s got a great vibe—clean, well-equipped, and welcoming—but the real game-changer has been my personal trainer, Jake Taylor. He’s motivating without being pushy, seriously knowledgeable, and somehow makes every session both challenging and fun (yes, it’s possible!).

I’ve already started seeing and feeling the difference in just a few weeks. If you’re looking for real results with a trainer who actually listens, supports, and pushes you in all the right ways—Jake’s your guy.

Highly recommend both the gym and Jake for anyone ready to take their fitness seriously!

If I leave the gym to retrieve something from the car I get locked out and I cannot re enter

What a brilliant gym so easy to scan your bar code at the doors, love how it had a ladys bit and a bigger gym downstairs that has everything you need

I have mentioned this before to JD staff, you have womens only gym but no womens only classes! Please start this.
Also kettlebells only till 20kg in womens gym. Need higher weight. Hip extension machine.

Back in August 2024, I began 1:1 personal training with Adrian to improve my fitness and help manage my borderline high blood pressure. Fast forward 9 months, and I’m genuinely loving the journey!

I attend jd gyms in blackburn
I mostly okay with everything at the gym I work out in the womens section apart from the fact that it's small (which can't be helped and i dont mind) I didn't have any issues till today (21st April 2025 8pm)
I understand that male workers sometimes need to come in for maintenance and cleaning which I'm okay with they do shout that a male worker is coming in before entering and up until today they've been respecting boundaries

However today a male staff member entered with 2 girls who were not staff members and from the way they behaved they looked like they knew the male staff member beforehand
He was not there for cleaning or maintaining rather he came to help the girls with assisted pull ups and spend unreasonably long giggling and joking and basically hanging out in the females area
I just find this a bit ridiculous and unprofessional it's a female only area for a reason I felt very uncomfortable and I could tell on other women's faces they did too

Not happy about today at all and I might reconsider continuing here if jd gym considers this okay

I found the staff courteous friendly, annd more than happy to give you a tour of the gym.

the music is too loud for me to hear through my ear phones

The worker was called ebony was very rude and unprofessional

to busy every time i went should be a cut off when there is to many people inside to many people wanting to use machines many people just sitting using mobile phone stopping people like me that are serious about fitness

Fantastic gym. Staff are very helpful. Changing rooms are clean. Excellent equipment.

Been doing the Thursday morning spin class now for around 2 months for recovery from a football injury! Kirsty is brilliant and runs the class well, switching up the songs and exercises weekly doing a mix of both cardio and strength ! Gym is always in a clean condition and the sauna is a massive bonus after workouts!
