JD is a good gym with great PTs. It's like most gyms, gets busy in peak periods and occasional machines need fixing but never not been able to complete a workout. Saunas are small but not heavily used... Ver más

Bolton JD gym, someone took a number 2 outside of the changing rooms on the floor… Asked the staff what was going on. There reply was it isn’t the first time.

Whole gym got odour
Whole gym got odour. Especially mens room.
Hand soap is mostly empty.
No trainer is there for initial guidance for beginners.

I did the enrolment online and then…
I did the enrolment online and then signed up into the app and I was kept scanning the QR code and it wasn’t working for 3 days I had to wait outside the gym till a member of staff would come and open the gate for me and then one of the staff members said to that I need upgrade to the pluse version so I can use this branch I was like why would I do that and he kind of didn’t know why but said today you can get in but for next day we can’t let you in and on the way out it wasn’t working again i had to wait almost 5 minutes to go out but this time another staff member said that it’s okay you can use the gym with current subscription it’ll be working tomorrow and now it’s been one more day and it’s still not working

Gym is dirty,dust all over the…
Gym is dirty,dust all over the machines.Soap containers in the bathroom very rarely full,most of the time empty,toilets not clean.Drinks machines constantly empty,few drinks in it.Looks like stuff doesn’t even care.Cleaner lady needs approve as look like she only holding hoover,never sees her wiping machines or cleaning toilets!!!

Honestly such a weird gym it’s not even worth £21 and the fact if I have to cancel my membership I will need to pay another £21 and if not they will charge it from my acc 😂this is ridiculous you don’t even have a pool never mind charging me that much.

Auto scan in doesn’t work have to have…
Auto scan in doesn’t work have to have a member of staff let me in every time, equipment is great but other members try to bully you off the equipment because they are visibly on steroids and try to intimidate you. Not even 2 minutes after I sat down I had a bloke ask me if I had finished my set and this remains to happen every day since I’ve started ( I’ve been here a week so far) only good part is the equipment and 24 hour times

Gym is over crowded can never get on…
Gym is over crowded can never get on the equipment I've been at different times and same story as late as 11pm, the equipment and facilities are okay and good that it's 24hrs and staff are good. But ringing or trying to contact there customer service to cancel or freeze or discuss is a nightmare.. there's no contact number on the website, I've tried ringing the gym no one ever answers the phone, the form asks for my membership number and I can't find it on the app, I've sent a query and no one got back to me horrendous experience in that area. I'm autistic and I find certain things difficult this being one of them, this is level of services is one of things I don't like about companies and will probably leave for this reason.
