There's all the right equipment, its clean , staff are friendly, place is refurbished , people are nice, the gym is great and they also have great facilities!

Decent budget gym
Good range of kit, plenty of space, floors seem reasonably clean. However the free wifi doesn’t work, which is annoying when you can’t get signal anywhere in the gym except right by the front door.

I like the equipment and the layout of…
I like the equipment and the layout of the space, it offers a wide variety of exercise possibilities, although due to the high demand , I've still experienced some difficulties accessing certain things. I think staff could be more approachable in terms of guidance , advice and basic instructions on how to use some equipment safely. The one thing that I really struggle with is the extremely loud music that can't even be overpowered with my headphones without me risking lasting hearing damage. I don't understand the need , considering that everybody has a smartphone and can opt for listening music of their own taste should they want to. I might be sensitive to this though as I'm a working musician and I'm currently studying media composition, so maybe other people wouldn't even recognise this as an issue.

It's a great gym
It's a great gym, something that I was looking for, for ages.
The only kit that is missing is the kicking bag.
Would you please provide a kicking bag next to the boxing bag? My background is Taekwondo, I love practicing my kicks.

Amazing Experience For Someone New To The Gym
It was my first time ever at a Gym and I felt very welcome as soon as I walked through the door the first time. There is a very friendly and polite attitude inside. The building itself is very nice and I enjoy my time inside. The staff where nice and able to help me when I had questions during my first few sessions. Good facilities. When I get home I can't wait to go back again. Couldn't ask for more.

Clean well equipped gym
Clean well equipped gym, everything in good condition.
I like the relaxed atmosphere and the fact theres a real cross section of gym users.
Only tried the Body Pump class so far but loved it!

First time at this JD gym
First time at this JD gym, wasn’t too busy, machines were mostly free and not had a lot of time to wait for them to get free. Clean, was being constantly cleaned by the staff members. Good vibe there will definetly be going again just not on my own as not confident enough!

Rude gym staff and super inexperienced
Terrible terrible gym atmosphere. Morning staff are extremely rude and unapproachable when asking for help and manager has no idea what she’s doing. Music is constantly too loud. Lack of PTs because staff are mostly either out of shape or on steroids. Two extreme opposites. I would recommend avoiding this one at all costs until they change management at the very least

The gym is super friendly
The gym is super friendly, especially the classes, they are amazing with great instructors and definitely the best thing about the gym! Unfortunately, many of the classes have recently been axed from the timetable, so if this continues I will definitely be looking for another gym with more regular and varied classes. Such a shame, as there's a real sense of belonging and community in some of the classes that have a loyal group of participants.

First visit to JD gym in Fishponds
Went with my friend who is a regular attender at JD. Was welcomed by the manager and many of the other gym members. Very friendly gym with a good selection of equipment. Very clean surroundings. Very impressed.
