Don't understand why you pay more for Doncaster
Typical 24hr gym.
Benches in the free weights area to close together, you have to wait for the person next you to finish their set before you can start you're set.
Leg equipment is not nice, leg extension machine near the free weights kills your shins, no hack squat.
A lot of cable pulls out of order.
Would not be so if it wasn't so packed.

bcz in the gym some people do not like asian people in the gym
we are 4 friends to go in gym
gym is very good i give 100% rating
but some of those people have resis we are complain about them but the team can’t do anything for us.

Gym feels like a sauna during night…
Gym feels like a sauna during night hours, absolutely no air flow. The choice of music is some of the worst in any gym.

There are no fans or AC during night…
There are no fans or AC during night hours! The air is suffocating!!! Add some fans or leave the AC on during night hours not to mention we’re experiencing a heat save at the moment.

Really like the gym I just wish there were better parking facilities and more classes on a weekend.

Class instructors are fab as too are…
Class instructors are fab as too are classes. Female changing rooms are always drab and grubby, badly in need of upgrade. Floor in studio always dirty.

Good equipment
Good equipment. The demand for the equipment for inner thighs is high so more of this is required. Brighter settings are better for me. I didn't quite like the lighting

First time going JD gym and didn't even…
First time going JD gym and didn't even had first months discount (( very big mess in gym, equipment all over, nobody cares to put things back in place. Some machines are one a peace and people piled to do exercises.

They charged me £10 for the first month, but I cannot access the gym now because it shows I don't have a membership. No phone number is provided to sort this out. Absolutely shocking.

Good saunas but sometimes when I want…
Good saunas but sometimes when I want to use it they are switch off. A lot of kids messing about and there is nobody to tell them off. Maybe more staff should approach people about putting the weights back after using.

Good variety of equipment
Good variety of equipment in good condition and kept clean.
My only criticism at this point is unfortunately the mens toilets have been out of action for 2 days now which isn't ideal.

Seems to take ages for equipment to be repaired. Open electrical panel in men’s room. Full of underaged members, as a local school teacher I see half of my year z10 class here. Doncaster

Hello – Thanks for taking the time to leave this review. We’re sorry to hear about your concerns during your visits to our Doncaster gym. Our teams do carry out regular maintenance checks and work with engineers to get machines back in use as quickly and safely as possible.
Regarding age requirements, all members must meet the minimum age to use the gym. If there is any doubt, the team are able to request valid ID to verify age.

The changing facilities are ok, toilets can often be dirty, especially the sanitary bins and in the toilet cubicles. The shower facilities are good!

I like the environment of the gym as…
I like the environment of the gym as it’s well equipped and neat but the only thing am dissatisfied with is Trainer, which as a new member of the gym I can’t find the trainer assigned to me which this is really not helping me.

Great first day back at the gym!
The gym is great! I’m getting back into it so was nervous to go but it was absolutely fine. Lots of machines, rooms for classes and different things. There was a lovely PT there called Hayleah who I spoke to about PT sessions and she gave good advice about looking at all the PT’s on the board, looking at their socials etc to get a feel of who I think I’d be more suited to for my goals. She was very friendly and approachable!
The only negative for me was that the showers in the female changing rooms smelt of urine.
