The best gym ever!
Great location, love all the new machines, it's my second home

Claen tidy and not waiting to use equipment. Only drawback is limited parking space

I cancelled my jd membership and they still charged me and said unfortunately they can't refund me due to it being under 30 day policy period I cancelled because I didn't want to pay anymore for the membership nor use the gym. Bad policy

Decent staff, always keeping the gym tidy. David is clearly motivated and really friendly always!

Still problems with staff not turning up to take classes that are on the schedule, and staff that are in the gym not bothering to do anything about it. Today the instructor didn’t turn up for yoga and when we went to find a staff member in the gym to ask why there was no one there, she said ‘oh she’s on holiday and couldn’t find cover’ - and then just went back inside the office and didn’t even bother to go and tell the people waiting for the class in the studio!

This happens all the time; wouldn’t bother joining if it’s classes you want. Also, very inconsistent class quality; seems some of them aren’t trained/proper instructors, just hobbyists?

An aesthetic building with a well equipped gym for all levels of fitness abilities.

Friendly staff welcomed us and explained the layout of the gym and facilities including a sun bed and sauna in both men’s and women’s changing rooms.

Spin instructor was extremely warm and welcoming as she explained the class.

Equipment was plentiful and even on a busy work day morning there was minimal waiting for availability.

Easily best gym in the city centre. Provides the mix for strength and conditioning as well as bodybuilding. 3 floors, superb unilateral machines, sauna, punch bags and the staff go out their way to become on a first name basis.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Mollie's exceptional service at JD Gyms, and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Mollie's professionalism, dedication, and genuine care for her members truly set her apart as an outstanding Duty Manager.

From the moment I walked into JD Gyms, I was impressed by the modern, spacious and clean facilities. The gym's three floors offer an impressive array of state-of-the-art equipment, providing ample options for every fitness enthusiast. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just starting your fitness journey, JD Gyms has something for everyone.

Love this gym I’ve been coming for a few years now and regularly attend the classes. My favourite classes are JD Burn with Sam and Spin with Rebecca.
Everyone is really friendly especially the duty manager Mollie, always welcomes people with a smile and is always willing to help with anything (even covering a class if she needs to!) Lovely gym, lovely staff, I would highly recommend!

Currently started pt sessions with shassen and found the whole experience very professional and enjoyable and take it from me I don’t like gym scene I train around 10-11 not to busy shass is brilliant and makes me feel very welcome

Bring back sanitising stations ASAP!!! I have been coming to this gym for the past year and I can say that besides the fact there is a lot of sweat of some machines , benches etc people are disgusting I can't speak for women but I saw men in the locker room using the bathroom without washing their hands and then they go to pickup dumbbells barbells etc some of these disgusting people even pick their nose and after that they pick up the dumbbells, seriosuly Horrible !!put them back it's not that hard !!! if you guys are afraid of costs or going bankrupt try homebargains cause it's cheap to buy sanitising items

Had my personal belongings stolen from a padlocked locker on the afternoon of 9 June. Security measures lax to say the least. Avoid like the plague.

Rang a couple of times as I was finding it hard to use the app and to sign up mollie the duty manger of Dale street help me out on 3 phone calls on different days nothing was too much very helpful and understanding and polite would recommend going to the gym!

Great space, but weights machines have bits missing, classes not always on & twice now I've asked staff to show me how to use cardio machines & they didn't actually know how to use them properly, so I ended up figuring it out & showing them!

Linda’s Zumba classes are the BEST!! She’s always full of energy and her classes always brighten my day ☺️

Trained at this gym for years, really like a second home to me! Everyone is so lovely like a big family. No judgement from anyone just heavy lifting and good vibes x
