Brand new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon bought…
Brand new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon bought mid July.
By late August with well under 1,000 miles on the clock it was making loud grinding noises from somewhere at the rear.
It took three visits to the dealer for the problem to be diagnosed then, lo and behold, they discovered that Jeep had issued a technical bulletin describing the issue - insufficient grease in the rear hubs in vehicles built prior to June 2024 (mine was built in February).
Had Jeep, having issued the bulletin, taken steps to ensure the immediate availability of the parts necessary to rectify the fault? .....No, of course not!
What is ridiculously called "Customer Care" could only say that the parts should be delivered on 5th November.
By trawling the Internet I was able to contact a senior member of the Stellantis Group executive support team who has, at least, ostensibly taken the matter seriously and the delivery of the parts to the dealership happened a little earlier (24th October). As I was reluctant to continue driving the vehicle because I didn't fancy coming, literally, to a grinding halt in a live lane on a "smart" motorway Jeep did agree to provide a courtesy car. Not a fat lot of help though as nothing like a Wrangler!
Since then, the problem has been compounded by the complete failure of the dealership, Stoneacre, to do as they promised i.e. collect my vehicle a day or so before their receipt of the parts in order to carry out the remedial work immediately. Now going to be several more days.
Worst vehicle buying experience in 5 decades.

I wish I had seen all these reviews before putting on to paper with my signature. Absolute horrendous disgusting customer service from the deajers all the way to higher heads but God as my witness retribution will be served . They are criminals the way they advantage me the poor man , monetize and capitalise on circumstances created by themselves and expect payments. Pure exploitation and robbery. How do you all sleep at night?

Jeep Simply Don’t Care
Hi,
so I have a 2018 Jeep compass including the Beats Audio System, I have now got to the point the screen is that delaminated that the system is completely unusable and when we do turn it on it changes the climate control, music and safety settings on the car.
I contacted “Jeep Cares” and was given a case number, I was then asked to drive to a Jeep dealer about an hour from where I live and was told they needed to take photos to confirm it is the delaminating issue - this was confirmed.
Fast forward to today, I have just had a call from “Jeep Cares” and told “We will not be helping on this occasion” this is because the car is a 2018 model and therefore I've had the car too long…
I mentioned that it’s affecting safety features and Im bound to have had the car a while before this started as the delaminating doesn’t come with the car.
I pointed out that thousands of people have this issue and Jeep are fully aware this is an issue but the lady on the phone couldn’t care less if she tried.
I am going to start looking into taking Class Action against Jeep and its parent company as they can’t just issue faulty equipment then basically say “oh we know there is an issue with them but we are not going to sort it for you”.
I’m gutted this is the case as I love my Jeep but for them to be messing their customers around is ridiculous.

Absolute Joke of a company. Johnson’s Jeep Swindon. Purchased a car from them and had it delivered damage. With the delivery driver saying “ what do you expect? It secondhand “Took over two weeks for my money back after threatening them to trading standards. They play the old salesman tricks of not answering email or when you call they are out of office doing training. The salesman who sold me my car even put the phone down on me when I keep asking him to do my refund. If you have a problem, call Jeep customer service, as you will get through to some bloke in his bedroom who has just got up, fumbling with his headset. Stay away from this company, because if anything goes wrong. YOU WILL REGRET IT!

Will never buy jeep again, brand new car has broken down, they try to avoid to fix it whole is on warranty, customer service is useless, they direct you to the email section to write down your problems/ complaints, why do you even waste your money to employ for customer service???!!!!

i wouldn't even give them a 1 star. bought a jeep the turbo went with 24 thousand miles on the clock just out of warranty. was told good will team will help as this shouldn't happen. been waiting 3 months just for an answer on how much they will help still waiting. everytime i call they say the same thing it's on a conference call tomorrow. it's like it's all a fraud of a company 02031611 case reference. my case dealer told me i'll have you a decision 1 million percent tomorrow to ring up and be told she's on a annual leave.
Very poor
Very poor. Car, customer services & especially service partners.
Car went in because engine management light was on. This started over 2yrs ago. I have had the car this year( 01.01.2024) for a total of 27 miles or 12hrs the rest has been in their repair shop.
How long is a car in a shop before being deemed irreparable? Apparently this amount of time is acceptable.
Stay away from Jeep is my honest advice.

This review is for the customer service, not for the actual vehicle. Before buying a Jeep i recommend to try speaking with the Jeep direct customer service. Shocking experience for me, I couldn't belive it. A bored girls answered with "Yeah..." and eventually just hang up while I was trying to explain why I called.

I raised a dispute I am having with the Jeep dealer I bought my car from. This is regarding a protracted warranty issue with my 2 year old Jeep Wrangler.
I opened a customer service request with Jeep who simply told me to try another dealership!
When I asked which dealership they recommend they could not recommend any. When I asked if the local Jeep authorised repairer could test my Jeep they said it has to be a dealership.
This is the WORST customer service experience I have ever had, especially considering the cost of this vehicle.
If you're considering a Jeep just change your mind now.
Absolutely shocking customer service
Absolutely shocking customer service, treated like a second class citizen. We had an appointment at 11 and weren’t taken to view any Jeep. We were simply handed the keys and told to go and look at it over there, as the rep pointed to ‘over there’. Not one car salesman showed us to a jeep or inside it or explained anything about the jeep or even offered us a test drive. We were left to look around the jeep ourselves with no test drive. We had to go back to the desk and ask the questions. The man on the desk was trying to push the hybrid on us even though we said we wanted the manual petrol. He said, you don’t want that car it’s bottom of the jeep range and has no extras. Completely unhelpful and down right rude to us to be honest. Needless to say we walked out after over an hour waiting for help with no new car, despite our appointment!! Dreadful customer service, you should be ashamed Jeep!
BEWARE taking out vehicle agreement…
BEWARE taking out vehicle agreement with Jeep if it involves Leasys. After our 4 year PCP was over they billed us over £2500 for what can only be described as minor wear and tear issues.
They have blatantly overcharged us for every single tiny hairline invisible blemish. Even the collection guy said this was a great car someone was getting due to the low mileage.
We are now trying to dispute but they have only referred us to the BVRLA (useless). Leasys are absolutely to be avoided at all costs.
Poor customer service
My brand new Jeep Avenger lease car broke down with a traction battery fault over a week ago. Jeep - Stoneacre W-ton have failed to find an issue with it apart from one in the factory which I wasn't aware of. I haven't a call to tell me what's going on at all this week. Whenever I try to call the number rings out. Poor customer service and communication and extremely frustrating. Still stuck with a hire car a week in.
Deplorable Service
In mid-September I contacted Jeep UK by email requesting a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) for my Jeep Cherokee that had been shipped to the UK from Australia. The CoC was urgently needed in order to get the vehicle onto the UK roads. I sent countless emails and made several calls asking why there was always a delay, yet was forever fobbed off with excuses. One was the CoC needed printing and another was a backlog of enquiries. Despite all the lies, promises and reassurances, I didn’t get a response until 15 JANUARY 2024 saying they can’t help me! Jeep UK should be ashamed of the way my query was handled.

contacted Jeep UK about the 24 hour test drive event that they were holding a YEAR ago, was told i would be contacted by my local dealership. a couple of weeks go by, nothing. i get a call from the jeep head office asking whether i did the test drive, i said "no", as i hadn't
they apologised and said that they would get someone to contact me that day, lo and behold nothing.
queue the continuous cycle over the past year of calls from head office and empty promises to get someone to call me back as soon as possible, and occasionally switching the dealership that they send my enquiry to, until they'd "sent" the enquiry to nearly every Jeep dealership in the east midlands.
fast forward to 2023, i get another call from their head office once again asking if i received a phone call. i said no, once again. i stated that i was getting frustrated with waiting, and they apologised again and said that a manager would contact me within 48 hours. 1 week passes, nothing.
once again, 2 weeks later i get another call and get the same empty promise. no phone call again.
well today, i decided that enough was enough - i'm done with waiting for them to get someone to contact me. so i phoned Jeep Derby - the closest one to me, and asked whether they have my details on file for a Jeep. they had a record of my previous enquiries for cars that i decided not to go ahead with, but not anything for the Jeep side.
that was the final straw. i'm contacting Jeep Head Office first thing on Monday morning, opening an official complaint and getting them to close my enquiry down permanently.
judging by the other reviews on here, i'm sort of glad that i didn't go ahead with one anyway, as they seem to be very unreliable.

Stellantis own Jeep UK. I bought a brand new 4 door Wrangler Jeep in 2019. I paid close to £60,000 for it. This is my wife's car and as such she got it washed in hand car washes. Some 8 months ago - I decided I'd wash it. To my horror I discovered it had 18 separate areas of significant rust bubbling UNDER THE PAINT around the door edges, panel centres & door hinges. A quick Google search showed this was a KNOWN ISSUE with these vehicles & it had been the subject of much discussion & legal action in the USA!
WHY had we not been informed of this problem in the UK I thought! WHY had Jeep UK not written to recall their vehicles for inspection I asked myself! Well - they hadn't done either. So I went about addressing the problem.
1. I wrote to Jules Tilstone their MD - he didn't bother to respond!!! (nice touch mate - like you didn't know about this issue....????)
2. Instead on 5th June 2023 I missed a call from Joseph. I call him back - send him emails - Hear nothing!
3. With 15 days having elapsed - I again write to Jules Tilstone - updating him with my most recent experience.
4. Again, he fails to personally respond!!!!
5. On 28th June 2023 Joseph calls me!!!! (blah, blah, blah!!!!!)
6. Joseph says I must wait 3 MONTHS (!!!!!!) before the dealership nearest me can INSPECT MY CAR!! Why do you need to inspect it I ask? You KNOW its a common & significant problem?!?! [ What a bunch!}
7. SO.......with my previous Jeep Dealership in having ditched their Jeep franchise I agree to wait nearly 3 MONTHS to have my Wrangler "inspected" at Jeep Slough.
8. September 18th 2023 - I travel an hour to Slough and leave my car with them. The people on the service desk were extremely helpful. I pick the car up the next day.
.....AND SO TO TODAY....
THREE WEEKS LATER their bodyshop has still NOT produced a report on the RUST on my FOUR YEAR OLD £60,000 WRANGLER!!!!!
* Jeep UK are appalling!!!!
* There is no excuse for their treatment of me!!!!
* There is no excuse for a modern car having RUST issues!!!!
* There is no excuse for their lack of transparency over this serious issue!!!!
