The Jerk Joint launched in 2016 because of our love of cooking initially just for friends and family. Since then we have catered at many events festivals, carnivals, weddings, birthdays, and funerals all from our caravan which we restored and converted from scratch, it touched the roads in May 2016 and has served many customers. Public or private catering all occasions will be considered. The Jerk Joint has been bringing smiles to faces and filling bellies with our Jamaican street food, we still operate from our beloved caravan and also our new restaurant (2023) in Hoddesdon Hertfordshire.

Never fail to impress
I’ve used TJJ a couple of times for family functions and they are amazing! The food is tasty, the team is reliable, the portions are generous and my guests are always impressed. I recommend the lamb and the jerk chicken in particular. Thank you Viv and Kev!

Hired The Jerk Joint for a family…
Hired The Jerk Joint for a family birthday and they had everyone going back for 2nds!! Jerk was spot on with the traditional Jerk pans and the curry goat was exceptionally good will definitely be having them back for family functions ♥️

Best Jerk chicken I have tasted in a while. The Curry goat was just right and flavour spot on. Will definitely be using again,oxtail will be next along with fry dumplings and plantain. It has taken me right back to the flavours of JA.Yeah Man!
