Shame there isn’t an option for zero…

Shame there isn’t an option for zero stars. These people ( Farid) are sweet to your face but play games behind your back . They don’t articulate themselves very well and never answer whatsapp messages.

I’m owed £1400 the reason being I ordered then cancelled my order on the same day and they the dress has already started in production ( Lies) so they will issue me with a credit note.

Ive been waiting for this credit note since July 2025…

They’re always late and will ring you 10 min before the appointment to tell you they’re coming from manchester and something or another has happened.

Roll on 2026 - I’ve been told “ I didn’t tell them when i’m planning to use it “ Which was never articulated to me even when we visited the store or in 2025 when they promised to issue it.

I have all the whatsapp messages which are laughable. They even promised that they would make a separate chat for us .. which didn’t happen either.

Also i’ve never seen these terms and condition they claim to have also asked for a copy and guess what never got them .

First and last time I will be using them and will be taking legal action. As I want my funds back

After losing my tether i sent another message (See the 4th page) got a measly apology.

UPDATE - 27/03/26
NO credit note again they have not fulfilled their promise …

Absolutely disgusting customer service from Farid
Anwar, don't fall for his 'little angel act' has no manners and is a master gaslighter, doesn't value customer service at all and goes radio silent when you reach out to him, in fact, he reads all the messages and has no capability to respond like a normal human being, perhaps he needs to read the definition of a conversation on google. The lack of professionalism is appalling, false promises, false hope and even the fraud squad is onto them! I should've listened to all the awful reviews prior to going here. SCAM ARTIST!!!!!

They love to report the reviews and get them removed as there were plenty more bad ones on google! The fact that ‘Farids’ mother and ‘Farid’ himself have given themselves 5 star reviews says a lot!! Avoid them at all costs, have no respect for paying customers!!!

Avoid ordering from this company at all costs!

I am sharing my deeply distressing experience with Je Roche Bradford to warn others. Between April-October 2025 we dealt with this company, ordering outfits for my sister’s wedding turned into an extremely stressful situation, with repeated delays, lies and excuses.

We ordered 3 outfits, including a bridal dress, and were assured all would arrive together. My £450 outfit (deposit paid £225) never arrived, while the bridal outfit did. Despite repeated calls and messages, I was misled with promises of delivery. My mum’s outfit (deposit £215 paid) was also delayed, and when it arrived, it was far too small—essentially child-sized. The outfit fit my 7 year old cousin, see image attached. My mum is a size 12 and they still wanted her to try the outfit on. Farid and Adam offered no practical solution, and she broke down in tears in the shop. No apology was offered; instead, they placed jewellery on her as if that would help.

When I visited the shop on 28 September 2025 I was told my outfit could not be done. I was offered an off-the-shelf outfit which was damaged and missing a skirt. They promised skirts, matching scarves, and tailoring, but never followed through and provided these. They suggested ordering a new outfit from Pakistan and said it would arrive within 10 days, however I explained that I am worried this would not come in time, but still went ahead with it. I agreed to take the in-store outfit as a temporary BACKUP, on the condition that I could return it when my original dress I ordered arrived, and I asked for skirt options. He kept the backup outfit for tailoring and promised to send skirt photos the next day. Despite saying he would send, he never did.

A few days later, I am contacting Farid to request an update on the outfit, I also wanted to discuss a situation that had recently gone viral on Snapchat, where another woman had accused them of taking her money and failing to deliver her bridal outfit. When I raised this with him, the conversation escalated immediately. He began swearing and aggressively saying that he “does not give a f*** about reviews” and that “reviews don’t mean f*** all.” I stayed calm and told him to remain professional, as I did not want an argument.

He went on to make extremely inappropriate and alarming comments about a woman. He claimed that he had “got someone’s face smashed in” and made further derogatory remarks about her, calling her a prostitute. He spoke rudely to us and when my mum raised her voice in distress, he proceeded to call her a “fat b***" over the phone. This was absolutely disgusting and disgraceful behaviour — no customer, let alone a woman of her age and respect, should ever be spoken to in that manner. He tells me at the end of the phone call that I will not be receiving my outfit and thats Final.

He then texts me to say that the outfit would arrive by Monday. This was confusing as he just switched to sending casual updates as if nothing had happened. He offers to refund my outfit while still allowing me to wear it for the wedding and return it afterwards — He offered to fix the back up dress at his Manchester store. We agreed on a date and time, I was on the way I called to confirm he was there and he claimed he just left the Bradford store and was stuck in traffic and tells me to go instead to a tailors home — someone I had never met. Given his previous threats, I did not feel safe doing that. I told him I would go to the shop and wait there, but he immediately changed his story again, saying the tailor would be leaving. It became clear that he was giving inconsistent information and making excuses. I genuinely do not know what his intentions were, but looking back, I am relieved that I turned around and did not continue to the shop that day. The situation felt unsafe, and I am glad I protected myself.

The business has stopped communicating with us entirely. I will be issuing court proceedings against this company. I have retained further recordings, photos, and written evidence of everything mentioned here.

Avoid this place dishonest unprofessional unreliable


I wouldn’t even give them one star if I could. I ordered a custom bridal jewellery set from Farid and his team after meeting them at the SSEDIT exhibition at Vermillion, thinking they were reputable. I visited their Bradford store in July and paid in full, with a promise the set would be ready in 4 weeks.
Weeks passed with excuse after excuse — delays, customs issues, false promises. My daughter’s wedding was fast approaching in early September, and they ignored my calls and messages. I had to make multiple trips to the store just to get any response.
Only after threatening legal action did they lend me a temporary set and promise to refund £450 once it was returned. I returned it immediately and was told the refund would be issued within 7 days. It’s now been over 3 months, and I’ve received nothing. Farid is no longer responding, even to Trading Standards who are now involved under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Do not trust this business. They are unreliable, unapologetic, and dishonest. If you still decide to buy from them, document everything and do not pay in full upfront. Better yet, avoid them entirely

I really liked their dresses online and was intending to visit the store, but seeing all these reviews I am not placing an order and will unfollow on instagram! Thank you to all leaving honest reviews saving people from losing thier money and the awful experience!!

If I could give 0 I would review this place at 0. Cancelled on the day of appointment as I was arriving into Birmingham as a staff member was unwell. They stated the shop will be closed for the day and no one was available to take over. How ridiculous, where was management? After reading the other reviews stay away from this shop. Blessing in disguise I would say!!

Bradford store

Bradford store. Came here after seeing that they had an event on. There was no event when I turned up. I was not allowed to try on most of the bridal dresses which is ridiculous. How are we supposed to order if I don’t know how it looks on me. Also the fitting room was just a space in the middle of the shop floor. It was tiny so no room to get changed without the curtain moving and me been exposed. The assistant was male and he made me feel very uncomfortable. I picked up a dress and he told me to put it away as the dress was extra small and I wouldn’t fit into it. I convinced them to let me try on one dress and when I was getting out of it the assistant had already left me and started taking to other customers and didn’t even say bye back when we left. Disgusting customer service. This was the first ever bridal shop I went to and had completely put me off bridal shopping.

Horrible customer service they lie and make you place an order take your money and don’t deliver on time they don’t answer calls don’t reply to texts but luckily we in uk have consumer rights so if anyone hasn’t received there outfits on time please speak to your bank and request a refund because they have to deliver your outfits within the timeframe so please everyone avoid this shop not worth the stress

Booked an appointment online for a bridal appointment in Manchester. Time and date was confirmed with them, got a reminder from them a day before to go for the time booked. Went to the shop on time and the shutters were down. I came from over an hour away, very disappointing.

If this has 0 stars it would have been given that to this company! My little sister booked an appointment weeks in advance and also received a reminder the night before confirming her 22nd jan appointment. Having reached into Birmingham from Peterborough to London to bham we called to state we may be 5 mins late. The lady said ok that's fine then seconds later she txd and said sorry Mondays we are closed !! Why was this not mentioned seconds earlier when we initially called to state we were going to be late! It gets better!! She then calls back to ask if we were going to pay for an outfit, if we knew what we were going to purchase ( basically all the questions relating to money) to then saying we can open for you if you pay a fee ?! Fee for WHAT EXACTLY?? she said there's an error on the system for Monday bookings going through but they aren't usually open on Mondays! My question was why are we having to pay a fee for u to open and in order for you to open to which we said no to as we have travelled all this way to bham? How are you asking a customer for a fee for your own mistakes!!!!! Make it make sense please! I own businesses myself and would not put a genuine client through what we were put through! Its a joke!! We wasted out time and effort and commitments to just reach there only to be turned away! I would NOT recommend going there its a money making scheme , literally daylight robbery! 😒
