Great price fast delivery was unsure at first because I had not heard of J&L before but so glad I did nearly half the price of everyone else and a better around service thank you.

A great experience

Almost perfect
Just over a week ago I ordered two games from J&L for the first time. I ordered them at 2.30pm and they arrived the following day in perfect condition. There are two reasons for not giving 5 star.
First a minor one, I received the dispatch email 2 seconds after the confirmation of the order. This is obviously physically impossible. Whilst I'm sure there is an innocent explanation, such as the system automatically sending it out when the that order is the next one to be packaged or some other reason. It is a little unsettling and might be better sent out after the order is packaged.
Second, this is the far more important one. I received no tracking information at all. Royal Mail usually send two emails to delivery targets, the first on the day it's collected containing a delivery estimate and the second on the day the parcel is out for delivery(I can only guess you had them send the emails to you, rather than to the me as is usual). As chance would have it, someone would have been home for the next few days at the time our post usually arrives. However this is not always the case, making delivery notification emails important(our neighbours work on all weekdays, so at times there would be literally nobody at home or at our neighbours to sign for the parcel causing a great deal of issues).
If you address these issues, particularly number 2. It would be a 5 star performance no doubt!

We had this same issue with dispatch emails some time ago and managed to rectify it but the system seems to have re-set itself. Our system is set up to automatically feed orders into Royal mail's click and drop system, but when it goes across it has been automatically triggering an email, which causes an issue, especially with pre-orders. Otherwise it's not too much of an issue when we send out the same day. They are marked as dispatched when they are printed off and subsequently packed ready to be picked up. I've now managed to reset this again so it will be triggered manually when ready to go, so thanks for letting us know.
With regard to the Royal Mail tracking info, this was still set up correctly to send to customer, so I'm unsure what has happened there. A couple of factors may have affected this, like the order being made with a different email to that set up with your royal mail notification settings or no phone number on the check out information. Otherwise everything is set up correctly our end for this.

First Purchase of Many!
I have not made a purchase from J&L Gaming before; however, after reading the positive reviews on Trust pilot I decided to go ahead and buy a PS5 game as it was the best price on the internet I could find. The game arrived very quickly with no issues at all. Highly recommend!
