Scammed Through this Site
This fancy looking job board site with a very credible looking job ad for a legit company just allowed a scammer to get me to install a "custom video calling software" to set up interview times. Beware when the "recruiter" messages you to email them outside of the current job platform. Their legit looking work email will then ask you to look up a video calling platform that's unheard of complete with a convincing website that somehow only has the Windows desktop version working while MacOS, iPhone and Android app version are not working/coming soon(We know why. Easier to hack on Windows). The 1 Star is because Join.com is not allowing me to report this scammer. Site is giving me an error message.

Dangerous scam
I applied on LinkedIn for a job that was advertised there and was redirected to join.com. I was then contacted by Albert Russell through Join, on behalf of company that is legit, it even had a legit logo in their profile. I contacted this company through email and they confirmed someone is impersonating them and sending fake job offers. Albert Russell asked to download software for video calls so we could do the interview. The website was full of malicious viruses. It looks like Join doesn't verify these employee profiles and may not even care.

JOIN does not tolerate fraudulent activity on our platform. We have strict measures in place to detect and prevent such abuse, including manual and automated checks. However, as in your case, some scammers may create convincing company profiles using real brand identities. As soon as we are made aware of such incidents, we immediately remove the job postings and block the accounts involved.
We take this very seriously and are constantly working to improve our systems. We strongly encourage anyone who suspects a suspicious job offer or behavior to report it directly to us so we can act swiftly.

Auch wenn wir dich in Sachen Serien leider enttäuschen müssen: Wir bei JOIN sind nicht im Streaming-Service unterwegs, sondern helfen Unternehmen dabei, die richtigen Talente zu finden.
Trotzdem schön, dass du bei uns gelandet bist – vielleicht brauchst du ja irgendwann mal einen neuen Job statt einen neuen Film.

Join does not perform company verification checks and their website is full of scam job postings from fake companies. Be aware of this situation because they do not alert the candidates affected. I would avoid this company...

At JOIN, we take the integrity of job postings on our platform very seriously. While we implement both automated and manual checks to identify suspicious activity, unfortunately, some fraudulent listings can slip through.
As soon as such cases are reported, we immediately remove the listings and block the associated companies from further use of our platform.
We’re continuously improving our systems to better detect and prevent such incidents and truly appreciate it when users help us by reporting suspicious postings.

Wenn du arbeitslos bleiben willst
Weder für Bewerber noch für Personaler zu empfehlen.
Kundensupport ist quasi nicht vorhanden.
Bewerbungen kommen zum Anteil nicht an. Hab beim Arbeitgeber zusammen mal geschaut.
Kommunikation mit Unternehmen nicht möglich da man nicht auf Mails antworten kann. Fehlermeldung Anzeige offline. Ist aber noch Online. Die Personalef denken sich dann mal meldet sich nicht. Viele wundern sich sicher warum Bewerber nicht antworten, aber das lässt die Seite einfach nicht zu.
Das ist schon fast kriminell.
Ich bin super froh mich extern nochmal beworben zu haben.
Mit Join wäre ich sicher immer noch arbeitslos

Join seems to be wellmade for employers but for job candidates its kind of a nightmare!
I have an account on there site, so applying should be made easy, but it does not work, so theres a job i really want the employer chose Join! Well impossible for me to apply! And its not a once in a year accident, its been going on for months, without join even noticing it! So i would very much not recommend your use of there platform!!

Tolle und offene ATS-Plattform. Join.com bietet neben funktionierenden Multi-Posting Features und einer großen Auswahl an Premiumstellenanzeigen selbst konfigurierbare Bewerberpipelines pro Stelle und coole Features wie den Talentpool Kommunikationsmöglichkeiten, Scorecards und vieles mehr. Was mir aber am wichtigsten war, eine offene API. Das heißt, alle Systeme die nicht nativ als Integration schon vorhanden sind. Können durch die REST-API selbst angebunden werden. Top Produkt zu einem Top Preis!

Poor system, waste of money
1- The system is clunky and doesn't let candidates attach documents once they applied
2- The advertising - pay as you click system advertises on boards that have no relevance to the job posting
3- The paid advertising on Linkedin returns very few results over 14 days (5) whereas posting directly on LinkedIn returns 11 in 1 day.
4- Their support service, while being polite refuses to refund even when the request is made 1 minute after posting

1. Document uploads: Previously, candidates couldn’t attach additional documents after submitting their application – a limitation that we recognized. However, with our recent messaging update, it’s now possible to request and exchange documents directly within JOIN, just like in a standard email conversation. This gives both sides more flexibility and makes follow-up communication much easier.
2. Pay-per-click distribution: Our performance-based model is designed to maximize visibility by distributing your job ad across a wide network of job boards and partner platforms. The relevance and impact of these channels can vary based on job type, location, and current market demand. We’re constantly working to refine targeting and improve results.
3. LinkedIn performance: We understand that application numbers are important. However, the performance of a job ad on LinkedIn depends on many factors — including job title, industry, timing, competition, and how LinkedIn’s internal algorithm distributes ads.
We’re more than happy to help optimize your campaigns to improve reach and performance. Still, the number and timing of applications on LinkedIn are ultimately determined by their internal processes, which we cannot directly control.
4. Refund policy: We understand your frustration and that your request came shortly after posting. However, because distribution starts almost immediately once a campaign is launched, our refund policy does not allow for cancellations or refunds after activation.

Wir benutzen JOIN seit geraumer Zeit. Viele der Reviews hier scheinen nicht Unternehmenskunden zu sein? Ich finde die Software sehr effizient und benutzerfreundlich. Das intuitive Design erleichtert das Verwalten von Stellen und die Integration von verschiedensten Job-Portalen spart viel Zeit. JOIN ist eine effektive und kostengünstige Lösung für das Personalmanagement.

So mies. Am Anfang mega nett und zuvorkommend. Gutes Angebot usw. Im Laufe der Zeit musste jede Stelle kontrollieren ob Regional auf den Seiten richtig zugeordnet war oder nicht doch einige Hundert Kilometer weit weg. Teilweise echt sehr mieser Kundenservice. Jetzt wo aktuell keine Stellen gebucht habe, soll trotzdem ein angebliches ABO bezahlen welches ich nicht habe. Zum Glück habe jede Anfangsmail aufgehoben. So ein mieser Service ist mir selten untergekommen. Schade um die guten MA die ich sehr vereinzelt kennenlernen durfte. Ich kann nur warnen. Leider muss man einen Stern geben. Von mir gäbe es Abzug

Die geschilderten Probleme mit der regionalen Zuordnung Ihrer Stellenanzeigen und dem Kundenservice entsprechen nicht dem Qualitätsanspruch, den wir an uns selbst stellen. Ik ben opgelicht vanuit hun. Zij deden zich voor als een uitzendbureau voor zalando. Ik had gesolliciteerd en aangenomen. Ik moest alles invullen bij hays europe. Ze wilde me een telefoon+abbonement laten betalen. Niet gelukt. Kijk uit!!!

Bedankt voor je bericht. Het spijt ons te horen dat je een negatieve ervaring hebt gehad.
Bij JOIN nemen we de veiligheid en betrouwbaarheid van ons platform erg serieus. Hoewel we verschillende controles uitvoeren om fraude te voorkomen, kan het helaas gebeuren dat kwaadwillenden proberen misbruik te maken van onze diensten.
Zodra we op de hoogte worden gebracht van zulke situaties, verwijderen we direct de verdachte vacatures en blokkeren we de betrokken accounts.
We raden je aan verdachte vacatures of contacten direct bij ons te melden, zodat we snel kunnen handelen.
