Can be a good company, first year saved me £1000 compared to the next best. At renewal (no details changed other than having an extra years no claims) said I’m not allowed to use “hospital worker” anymore because they have a new underwriter and selecting my specific job increased my renewal quote by £200. Thought it was cheeky to rob me of the extra but was still a little cheaper than the alternative so stayed with them. I’ve heard this company is horrendous when submitting claims but I’ve never crashed and hoped I didn’t have to so stayed with them. This time at renewal they decided they now can’t offer me a quote because of my details…literally not changed in over 2 years of being with them. My only advice is turn off location as soon as your test drive ends so they can’t track you and expect to be messed about every year when they get a new underwriter or their current crap underwriter changes the rules.

Avoid this company at all cost. I spent 3 weeks on their test and finally they said that my car cannot be insured due to age and insurance group. But the reg was submitted at very beginning. And then I tried another low insurance group car was quote £1300 but I can easily quote £750 from AXA. Absolutely waste of time.

Waste of time. Did the test period, got an email saying they cannot insure me - 'underwriters unable to insure you' - no details taken. I message the online chat, they ask for annual mileage, that say it is too high they cannot insure me. Complete waste of time - they knew my annual mileage upfront - so why waste time going through the test period?

Time waster. I recommend this to a friend and after a month of testing him. They didn’t say anything only on the app if you open it it would say they can’t provide the service.

Same as other reviews say. Just a complete waste of time. You complete the test drive period to be told they can’t give you a quote as they have underwriter issues.

DO NOT DO THE TEST DRIVE PERIOD. THEY ARE COLLECTING YOUR DATA AND WILL NOT OFFER YOU INSURANCE. I completed my test drive period, and then for a whole month they kept saying they had underwriter issues. This is a absolute scam and I hope something is done about this quick to end this company.

AVOID AVOID! Made me do a test drive which took forever and the data isn’t even accurate, then they proceed to tell me at the end saying “they’re having technical issues and cannot offer me a quote”. Obviously they are a company that steals data off people and sell it onwards, they’re smart so be aware and don’t use this company. So unprofessional and hope the worst for them!

I download the app weeks back I did the 2 weeks analysing your driving and it took more then 2 weeks finally when it finished, they can’t even give me a quote because apparently because of technical issues. I emailed them telling them I give it 7 days but I gave them more then that still no quote the fact the matter is they have all your information where you’ve been going I’ve had this app on while I drive my company vehicle going into customers houses I know these companies sell information . It is a great idea for a business model, but unfortunately it’s run by a bunch of idi@ts, Stay well clear

Insurance has skyrocketed.
My premium last year for a 05 X3 was £750.
I am a 24 year old, 4 years no claims and license held since 17.
This year, the price went to whopping £7500 a year.
I gave this company a 5 star review 2 years ago, but steer clear now.

Absolute rubbish. I downloaded the app, as did my son and proceeded to have our driving monitored. Our insurance policies both had around 1 month plus a few days before expiration. My son was then told they couldn’t insure his car (nothing flash, a scirocco) and their system was apparently ‘down’ for around 2 days, so couldn’t offer me a quote! Don’t bother wasting your time with it

Fake, they steal drivers data, nothing else. I completed all their requirements, did the test drive for 3-4 weeks and then were told, oh sorry you are resident in Scotland, we don't cover Scotland.

Imagine being told for a whole month our system is down and we can’t offer a quote. That is a sign of something fishy! I came here and saw in only 2023 thousands of people having horrific encounter with this company. Thank God i dodged a bullet ,i am deleting them from my list 😂 thank you to everyone for looking out for others

Worst insurance or whatever they claim to be that ever exists. You would think as an insurer they would help you when it comes to the things they cover you for such as accidents and emergencies. At my accident they take all my details to then send me a letter the following day on how they are going to refuse my claim as they believe I was using the car for work, when asked to check the calls it turns out they went back back on their decision so I was not in the wrong, they then took 4 months to actually settle my claim I believe trying their best to find an inconsistency to refuse again. Also having made sure I had drive other cars on the policy they then remove this on a sly without any notification of letting me know. Then a car I was driving was seized and I had to pay out of pocket to take from impound and get temp cover with impound insurance and at the fault of Rooster again and it is 5 months now and still I am made to wait for their mistake and a financial loss I incurred. I even got a reply from West Midlands Police to say they have dropped the matter as they can confirm it was the insurers fault. Here I am being made to wait and wait and still to this day NOBODY from rooster has had the decency of recovering my loss. The complaints team is a waste of space. They are so quick to bully you if you ever miss a payment but its is ok for you to be made to look like a fool and they can just make you wait all they want, even in their own errors. Absolutely disgusting, you cannot be a reputable company with this kind of treatment.
