Rooster saved my pocket today

My employer requested that I add business insurance to my insurance policy. I thought I would have to pay more and that it’d be expensive but I didn’t have to really. There was no price change and the premium I’m paying at present is half of what I’d ordinarily have to pay with other insurers

NOT WORTH IT

Did the test drive for 1 month got a really good score and got quoted £107 a month when other companies quoted me 75 a month..

Not worth the hassle

On 3rd year renewal they demanded price 10 times higher of what I was paying

Worst experience ever
Please do not take their policy if you looking to drive for many years

My experience with Rooster Insurance…

My experience with Rooster Insurance has been incredibly disappointing. Despite being a customer for a year, they failed to offer me a renewal quote due to their new underwriters. When I inquired about the reason, their response was unsatisfactory – simply stating that they couldn't provide that information. It's disheartening to be treated this way after being loyal to them. I strongly advise others to steer clear of this insurance company.

Lieing Company

They advertise by saying that the driveing assessment will help you get a cheaper insurance but they operate as any other insurance they just act like they are better by putting on a fake mask like this driving tracking will help you get easier quotes and that but it’s unless they are like them all money suckers

Thoroughly impressed

Thoroughly impressed with the process so far, although the test drive period was a little long (probably because I don’t drive every day). It all pays off in the end though and managed to achieve a decent saving compared to other quotes and my previous insurance. The process being fully app-based was great too and made everything so simple.

I'm utterly disappointed

I'm utterly disappointed with my car insurance company's abysmal service. Despite the accident not being my fault, they've failed to provide my well-deserved no claim bonus for the past 4-5 months. Their excuse of "waiting for redirect" is nothing more than a flimsy attempt to shirk responsibility. This ordeal has left me unable to purchase a new car, causing immense stress and frustration. Their incompetence and lack of urgency are truly astounding. Stay away from this company if you value your sanity and your hard-earned money.

While this car insurance company may boast about offering competitive prices, their true colors shine through when it comes to honoring promises. Waiting months for a no claim bonus after an accident that wasn't even my fault is beyond unreasonable. The supposed "best prices" pale in comparison to the frustration and stress caused by their inability to deliver on their commitments. Choosing to stay with this company for the sake of a potential discount is a decision I deeply regret. The toll it's taken on my peace of mind and ability to move forward is not worth any amount of savings.

Whilst no consolation, where multiple parties are involved there can often be delays which are out of our control ( especially if the case of non fault as we are totally reliant on the other parties insurer). We are working closely with our underwriters to ensure we get as much detail as possible on all claims so we can feed it back to our customers to help make the claims process as transparent as possible. Unfortunately we can’t issue a NCD until a claim is closed (this is the same for all intermediaries/insurers), however this should not have any impact on your ability to purchase a new car. Couldn't offer me a quote due to my car…

Couldn't offer me a quote due to my car and age not fitting the requirements but Jack on the live chat service was great and checked a good few cars for me. 10/10 customer service and gave us a good giggle.

A good idea but implementation could be better in some cases.

Ultimately they couldn’t give me a quote as my profession wasn’t covered. It’s a little annoying having to go through the whole process and not receive a quote as I feel like the idea is good but they could have mentioned that upfront.

Best insurance company!

2nd time taking insurance with Roosters. No words, absolutely amazing company!! Where all other companies failed Roosters went above and beyond to get me the best price. Thanks a million to Jack and the team for their brilliant customer service.

I would always recommend Roosters to anyone!

Worst car insurance ever

Worst car insurance ever. Been with them for 2 years. All of a sudden they increased my renewal price x10 with no reasonable explanation other than change in underwriting. I had no claims with them or accidents. A clean 2 years and they tried everything in their power to prevent me from getting my no claims bonus until they had to. Stay away from them.

Completed test drive with Rooster- took…

Completed test drive with Rooster- took bit over 2 weeks to get quote. As others have said app does use quite a bit of battery in background so something to be aware of. Quote received was very competitive- about same as cheapest quote on comparison sites and less the majority of other quotes on there- most of which were telematics (black box) quotes. In terms of Sales experience received quote and few days later went back to see higher price so message support who replied in less than 2 mins and were able to bring it back down. It was still a little more than originally quoted but to be fair I was only a few days from when I wanted policy to start so would have expected to go up. After purchasing noticed slight error in that wasn't covered for commuting, messaged support and they were able to immediately update at no extra cost. Overall been really impressed with speed and helpfulness of live chat and much better experience than other insurers. Thankfully haven't had to make any claims but I understand others have mentioned it's not great so something to consider. Overall had a good experience and app is good- makes it easy to make changes and the other features like MOT and Tax reminders and bookings for services are useful.
