My son is enjoying the after school club he is going usually Monday and Tuesday evening, he loves David and he comes at home full of stories of what he did after school. Definitely we will use for the rest of the years at Peter Gladwin primary school.

Poorly run and managed

The staff and care for the children had been good but the company is an absolute nightmare to deal with. We have had so many last minute cancellations, one we were notified after the school had finished which was really concerning and most recently they cancelled the wrong day due to the weather then didn't contact me back to let me know the club was still running that day and they had made a mistake. They are now leaving the school completely but also have just days notice that they would stop accepting the nursery children giving very little time to find alternative care. Such a shame as the staff looking after the children have been excellent but the management and organization completely let it down.

Booking process is awful

The actual childcare is great. We have no issue with the quality of this and their safeguarding procedures, however, setting up childcare vouchers and the booking system has been an absolute nightmare. The terrible booking process has meant that I no longer use this provider for holiday clubs.

That makes it all the more disappointing to read that the booking process and setting up childcare vouchers caused so much frustration.

We know that arranging holiday childcare can be stressful enough without having to battle with bookings and payments, and we're sorry that this overshadowed what was otherwise a positive experience.

We would like to offer our feedback…

We would like to offer our feedback from several years of our son attending JAG after school club at Peter Gladwin School.

Our son has always loved the stay and play sessions. They're a good opportunity for him to connect with friends from other year groups, and he's sad when he can't attend. He always comes out having had a good time and usually puffed out from having been doing some high octane activity or other, which is great to see. He loves the activities, the snacks and the toys and games provided.

The ASC represents great value for money in terms of childcare, and we particularly value the flexibility of ad-hoc bookings which can avoid complications when there are last minute hangouts after school to be had.

The staff are really good at what they do, always friendly and professional and flexible. You can tell they love keeping the kids entertained and form a strong bond with them. Can't rate them highly enough. The leader of the group is great at coming up with new things for them to do, and I particularly like that he jokes a lot with the kids. I feel like the kids get a great all round boost to their social development at JAG as well as some exercise and entertainment.

My daughter can't wait to go back

My daughter went for the first time and absolutely loved it. The team where fun and she made friends easily.
The day is filled with lots of fun activities and the time slot is perfect for parents who work.
She can't wait to go back!

Easter camp at Northolt

Easter camp at Northolt
My kids spent three days at the Easter holiday camp at the Northolt location, and they had an amazing time. They enjoyed it so much that they never wanted to leave early and were excited to go back every day—which has never happened before! They loved the variety of activities and really enjoyed spending time with the staff. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience. The kids are already looking forward to coming back in the next holidays!

Kids enjoyed a range of Easter fun

The kids really loved the range of activities - which included swimming every day, a bouncy castle and plenty of arts and crafts. The coaches were fun and approachable, I felt the kids were well looked after. Would recommend!

My son (9 years-old) attended the 1st…

My son (9 years-old) attended the 1st week of Easter holidays.
He wasn't keen on the idea, but after the 1st day he was ready to go every morning eagerly. He enjoyed overload with all the different activities and was happy to know that the instructors were also happy with him.

Incredible staff that go above and…

Incredible staff that go above and beyond, my child felt so nervous to go but they reassured her by there warmth and enthusiasm, I would recommend this holiday club because they also have so much to do crafts or sports and swimming so much to pack in! My child can’t wait to go back!

I would give it 5 if they provided…

I would give it 5 if they provided snacks for kids!
My girls like going to this holiday club, loads of children attend and they have made some friends who also attend regularly.
Staff are friendly and report any issues. Loads of activities to choose from and swimming is a big hit here.

Payment and Cancelation System…

Payment and Cancelation System Nightmare.
I have been trying to cancel my daughters Friday after school session for over a month now, and I'm still none the wiser if I have managed it or not. The phone number they provide you with will give you nothing more than kids talking and promoting the holiday camps. Last week we went to pick up my daughter from school but her name was still on the clubs list somehow resulting in much stress and chaos. The website is very un user friendly and there is evidently no confirmation of cancelations via email or otherwise. I assumed I had managed it as where there was once green dots next to my future bookings they are now red. But that doesn't seem to have worked. I have asked for someone to call me but nothing so far.

Safeguarding and lack of proactivity from the supervisors

Hi, my son has joined your holiday club this week at St. Luke School (e14). I am concerned about the lack of proactivity of the supervisors in this club. Every morning we come in, there is very little acknowledgment of the child, no greetings. All children are playing in the main area while the supervisors sitting together and chatting with each other, barely recognising the presence of children or people entering the club. I have to proactively ask teacher to engage with my son so that he doesn't feel overwhelmed with staying there without the parents.
Today, we had an alarming situation where my child simply ran away from the class to follow me when i was leaving - all doors are wide open, which i am sure you understand is a massive safeguarding issue. I had to take him back to the room - again, no recognition from the supervisors and none of them followed my child when he ran away. I'd like to hear from you urgently on how this is going to be tackled moving forward, please.

Brilliant

Brilliant! I have austic twins and really took care of their needs to avoid dyresgulation. They came away happy and wanted to go again. The staff are wonderful and so friendly. This was at the venue at Westcroft carshalton highly recommended

awful payment system

Nothing wrong with the actual care, but since taking over last summer the booking and payment system is a nightmare. Every month they tell me I haven't paid, and every month I give them the tax free childcare reference numbers again. They tell me to ignore these automatically generated emails, so why send them? I have tried changing payment dates thinking that would give them more time to match the payments, but still they keep sending me emails saying I haven't paid.....and the icing on the cake this month is that they are telling me I owe them 20p - no idea why as I am following the payment plan they agreed....can't wait for my kids to leave.

It’s a shame that they employ people…

It’s a shame that they employ people with no experience and no understanding of children’s behaviour. Every day I’m receiving incident reports saying that my 4-year-old drew on a table or was not listening to instructions to tidy up, etc.

Awful

Awful. It so much harder to book my children in and out now that they have taken over. My children have to have a dinner when they get home as a slide of bread with ham and cheese on it is not substancial enough and the menu is never correct. Payment method is a nightmare and if you book for the whole year and then change bookings you end up always over paying yet you account always saying you owe money. I have been trying to get through to them on the phone today for over 45 minutes and trying to get hold of them urgent is just not possible. My daughter is in Year 6 and I cannot wait for this nightmare to end. (The staff that actually work there are amazing but the company itself is awful with poor customer service.

Regarding the food provided at our after-school clubs, we offer a light snack rather than a full meal. Menus are shared as samples, and items can be subject to availability; however, we appreciate you raising your concerns and are currently working towards a better solution for our teams and children.

We’d really like to look into your payment query. To allow us to investigate and support, we’d kindly ask that you share your most recent booking reference or Parent ID. We’ve also used Trustpilot’s Request Information feature so you can provide details securely.

We’re sorry that you’ve had difficulty getting through to us. Our phone lines and inbox are currently extremely busy, and while the team is working hard to respond as quickly as possible, we apologise if this hasn’t met expectations, particularly when urgent support is needed.

The club's atmosphere is just as…

The club's atmosphere is just as enjoyable as it was when managed by the previous company. Unfortunately, the online booking system is extremely frustrating and by far the most inefficient I've ever encountered. It’s very difficult to reschedule, which can be a real hassle for busy parents. Because of this, I’ll be seeking alternative options for holiday clubs in the future.
