My first experience of buying from Kayuhome
My first experience of buying from Kayuhome, unfortunately a little disappointed after buying a bench and paying for the stated delivery when purchasing, to then be told I have to pay more for the delivery (extra £20) as they had made an error and the cost I paid wasn't enough to cover. As I'm a first time buyer, I think the cost should of all been absorbed their end, to make a good impression - won't be going back.

Thank you again for your order for the garden bench and for taking the time to leave a review. I'm sorry to learn that you were not happy with the delivery charge.
As you mentioned, the delivery charge shown on our website when you ordered the bench was incorrectly priced at £12.50. We have been able to send similar items with Fedex in the past but we were unable to book your delivery with them this time as the bench was too large and heavy for them to accept.
We therefore had to send the bench with a specialist delivery company who provide a 2 man service for larger items. The price they quoted for this was just over £55.00. My staff didn't feel they should charge you the full delivery cost but asked if you would cover part of the extra cost at £20.00. They thought that this seemed a reasonable compromise at the time and I was happy to back them.
In retrospect I agree that it would have been better for us to absorb the full additional cost as a goodwill gesture.
We have now adjusted the delivery charge on our website for the bench to more closely reflect the actual cost of delivery so that this issue does not arise again in the future.
Under the circumstances I can understand your reluctance to buy from us again but I do hope you will give us a chance to provide you with our usual excellent service in the future. Please feel free to contact me directly if I can be of help.

Beautiful elm bookcase
Very pleased with my beautiful elm bookcase which was exactly what I was looking for and luckily reduced in price. It was delivered quickly, placed where I wanted it and the delivery guys even unwrapped it for me and took the packaging away.

A great experience.
The mirror we chose was not in stock, however this was clearly explained on the website (unlike many others where you only find out after payment) and the option to pay a 50% deposit, with the remainder payable once the item was back in stock, was appreciated. The balance was taken automatically and the mirror arrived shortly there after. Great service. Thanks.
