Constantly fails, looking for a new system

We've used Keepntrack for 4 years. Within the last 2 years, the peripheral equipment constantly stops working so we have to unplug and replug to make work. When that doesn't work, we have to delete cookies. When that doesn't work, we have reinstall the drivers. The system only works with Internet Explorer, which is a dying browser. Our receptionist shelved the system 2 months ago and uses a manual process now. We're on the market for a new system.

SAFETY IS THE TOP PRIORITY!

I volunteer at my daughter's school, and it's ten times quicker to sign in and out with this software than it ever was with the sign in sheets.

Customer service good, product is antiquated

The customer service is always courteous and responsive, but unfortunately the software is not very functional and since the updates, even less so. We are looking for another system to track our volunteers.

Slow and unresponsive at times

We like the functionality of Keepntrack and what it does for our school. Although, many times we have had a slow or unresponsive system, times when we have had to tell the users, "nevermind, it isn't working right". This system should be 100% all the time.

We love Keepntrack

Keepntrack allows us to ensure we know who is entering our schools. It is easy to use, and has done a great job in keeping our buildings safe.

Customer Service Needs Improvement

Dealing with customer service seemed to degrade over time with our experience with Keepintrack. We had some software issues that we were told they couldn't help with due to our hardware system. This same hardware has been running the program for months earlier. It was basically a lack of trying to help us with our issue.

Works well most of the time

This system works well most of the time. I mostly had to figure out the system on my own since the helpline takes so long to troubleshoot problems. I work in the office and can't be sitting on the phone for an hour. This is our 2nd year with the system and I'm more familiar with it and more comfortable navigating through it. I do really like the reports for tardies and the reports for our volunteers.

Not a good experience with Keepntrack

It was a very clunky system to work with. There were frequent breakdowns or "freezes" between the components. A year ago, I was getting so many complaints from building secretaries and principals, we stopped using the system and went back to the old paper and pencil means of signing people in. Very, very frustrating.

I like this program, but we have experienced some friction that at times makes it not so user friendly.

The program does not always read scanned birthdays correctly. It often times will check someone in but will not print the badge. The customer service folks are very pleasant and patient.

Great visitor tracking!

KeepNTrack is a recent addition to one of our campuses and it has worked really well for us so far. We had a few bumps early on getting things to work how we wanted, but it's way better than the binder we were using, now that the issues have been ironed out. The multi-language option has also been great, since a large number of our students' parents speak only Spanish. I definitely would recommend this software to other schools!

Great System

We have been using keepntrack for 6 years and it has been a great addition to our charter school. It has allowed parents to check in late arriving students and early dismissals. We can track all the volunteer hours for the year, which is handy when applying for grants. Staff checks in and out daily and during a fire drill we can pull up a report that shows all the staff that is onsite. We get comments all the time from parents who are impressed with our keepntrack.

Flexible company

My school uses Keepntrack to check students in and out of clubs, study hall, etc. It's very difficult to keep track of 700 students who's schedules change weekly, sometimes daily. As the only nurse here, I need to keep teachers advised of student's health needs. Keepntrack was willing to take a suggestion and add it to our screen. This will make my job 10 times simpler. Thank you!!

Someone actually answers the phone every time we call. Tech support is awesome and works hard to ensure we have all questions answered.
