Inept customer service
In March 2026 I spent over an hour on the phone with "customer svc" explaining that my machine was defective; the descale light would not turn off. He said he would ship 1 descaling solution which never arrived. The light is still on.
I wrote the Keurig President - no reply.
Why can't they have a troubleshooting dept - or train their agents to do same? There is no customer service.

I purchased a keurig coffee maker with the whole pot or single cup option! Neither works half the time. On the pods I have to start at least twice per cup & on a full pot I have to start at least 3 times to get a full pot. I would not recommend this coffee machine to my worst enemy

This isn't bad luck — it's a pattern. Keurig has perfected the art of producing an innovative, convenient product with absolutely no quality control behind it. Each machine lasts just long enough to push you past your frustration threshold before it dies, and then the cycle repeats.
Customer service? Save your time. What you'll get is scripted sympathy and a 25% discount off RETAIL price — which is typically 25% above what any major retailer already charges. Net savings: zero. Net respect for the customer: zero.
What makes this worse is who's behind it. Keurig is owned by Keurig Dr Pepper, which also owns Green Mountain Coffee. These are not small, struggling companies. This is a billion-dollar enterprise with the resources to fix these chronic quality issues and a leadership team that has clearly chosen not to. When a company of this size keeps producing the same defective product year after year, that's not an oversight — that's a decision.
I'm not buying another Keurig machine. And given their ownership structure, I'm done with Keurig Dr Pepper and Green Mountain products entirely. There are better-built alternatives that actually last.

Run away from the idea of using Keurig's online ordering system. You are better off using another online retailer or looking for sales in a retail outlet rather than dealing with this headache. All of a sudden, I'm receiving coffee, and I didn't even order it. They will act as if they did nothing wrong, and you have a mini coffee warehouse.
I bought a K Creama
I bought a K Creama from Costco. After 3 months it wouldn't work. The machine would not open so I could not place pod in the machine. I sent it back and I received a replacement. After 2 weeks the replacement wouldn't work. I called customer service but I couldn't understand the agent because of her foreign accent. I asked to talk to her supervisor. She said they were all busy but one would call me. Never heard back. A horrible experience all around. I wouldn't ever buy another Keurig coffee machine. Dave Jones
It worked perfect for 8 months
It worked perfect for 8 months. Then after making one cup of coffee it came up with add water. The revisor was not hardly down. I dumped the water, replaced the filter, and it worked fine for 2 days. After that it did it again. Before I was able to get in touch with support, the display came up with descale. I had descaled less than 2 weeks before. when I called support as the email said, even though it would have been 9:00 am there, I was told the office was closed. This happened 3 times. I finally gave up.
When someone from Keurig phoned they spoke so soft, I was unable to hear them, I ask the person to speak up, only to discover I was unable to understand her, as she English was not all the good.
In the end, I got no help and when I asked to have it fixed under warranty, nothing. I never heard another word from Keurig.
I will be throwing the thing out, I highly recommend no one purchase the Keurig model K-Supreme Plus. In reality best not to even get a Keurig if you want support. Keurig support is really a joke

I just called in about my coffee maker that has stopped working. I attempted to descale it with negative results. it then stopped working completely. customer service only offered a 25% discount and a box of coffee. if I would have accepted this, this would have been my 4th coffee maker in less than 3 years. I find this totally unacceptable.
Two Keurigs Caught Fire
I purchased a Keurig about a year ago, and when I first plugged it in, the heating element immediately caught fire. Keurig replaced the machine, which I appreciated. However, after moving homes a couple of times this year, I finally set up the replacement and the exact same thing happened again; the heating element caught fire as soon as it was plugged in.
Customer service told me the machine is now outside the one-year warranty and offered a 50% discount toward purchasing another brewer. Unfortunately, after two machines failing in the same way, I’m not comfortable spending more money on another one.
I’ve also noticed that other customers report similar heating element issues with this model, which makes me wonder if it’s a recurring problem.
I used to think Keurig made reliable machines, but after this experience (and similar issues my grandmother has had with two of hers), I’ve decided to switch to another brand.

I have had three different models of Keurig. The longest one lasted was a month. I only drink one cup of coffee in the morning. The reason I’ve had three is because I use them for a week they break. I take it back to Walmart. I get another one. I use it for a day take it back to Walmart the third one I used one cup of coffee in and it broke what a piece of crap.
Review of the K-Duo (Gen 2)
We purchased a K-Duo (Gen 2) machine at the beginning of February. Great machine, except when you try to make a full carafe of coffee—it always threw an error and would stop perking after only 4 cups of coffee. After contacting Customer Service they said they would send us a new machine. We received that machine today, and we just can’t believe that this new machine has the same exact error come up as the original machine. So sad!

I bought one of your machines and only had it a couple months when it just shuts off over and over before finishing making a cup of coffee. When I contacted Keurig I was told to find a tube in the machine and poke something throught it . I don't know. I should have been told they should send me a replacement machine. I didn't buy it so I could work on it. I could see if it was a couple years old but 2 months? Terrible product and customer service. I wish I could leave no stars - customer service is beyond horrendous - my Keurig account was hacked- I called immediately and reported it - the merchandise was still shipped and my account was still charged. Numerous phone calls to customer service resulted in promises to resolve the matter, and then nothing.

Absolutely the worst purchasing experience I’ve ever had. I ordered directly from their site and my order never arrived, yet they still charged my card twice. Trying to contact customer service was a nightmare — endless hold times, automated replies, and zero help. When I finally reached someone, they couldn’t resolve anything and offered no real solution. To make matters worse, the coffee maker I eventually received stopped working just weeks after first use. Completely overpriced garbage with zero support — save your money and buy elsewhere.
We're leaving Keurig for Nesspresso
About 10 years ago I had an issue with the first Keurig unit we purchased. I contacted Keurig Support and had the absolute best experience. I wrote a review saying all product support groups should be built like Keurig's.
Well, unfortunately, things change. About 5 years ago we upgraded to the new Keurig K-Supreme Plus® SMART Single Serve Coffee Maker. Everything worked fine for the first year but then the bottom fell out. I cannot remember the specific issues we had but my records show Keurig sent us two replacement units two years ago. It was also a rather difficult interaction with support. Then about a year ago I discovered the WiFi was not working on the unit. I worked with Keurig Support numerous times and no one could figure out what was wrong. I then asked them if we could simply get a replacement unit. Their answer was a flat out "NO". Evidently my warranty had run out.
I told support that this was one of the main reasons we paid extra and upgraded to their top of the line unit. But, unfortunately, they didn't want to hear about it. I even escalated within support and still nothing.
I can no longer recommend Keurig at all. If I'm going to pay good money for a coffee maker, I expect top of the line customer support. Leaving a customer high and dry with no WiFi is unacceptable as far as we're concerned. My wife and I recently decided to do away with the Keurig unit all together and go with Nespresso based on my children's recommendations and a few other people. Plus, we searched the internet for reviews and it appears Nespresso is overall better than Keurig. My birthday is coming up so we're purchasing a new Nespresso unit to replace the broken Keurig.

I have had 3 K Supreme machines fail in the last year. One only 4 months old and bought from Costco so they took it back. The other 2 naturally were just beyond a year old so wound up in the trash. Those were $150+ machines. The failure was no power in the machine, checked plugs, tried others but no lights or power on. I have spent my last dime on Keurig. Will now be buying other brands. Their "customer service" is useless and of no help whatsoever. This company is dying.. Steer clear.

We really enjoy Keurig products and the giant selection of coffees and goodies but they take too long to get my orders. Compared to another company I would get my coffees in just a few days or less. With Keurig it takes over a week to get.
