Misleading prices. They place lower prices on products and try to charge you more at checkout.

Couldn't get worse if you tried. The prices are twice the prices of the other stores in the area, and the produce is nowhere near the quality of the other local stores. Long lines. Pre made food is often spoiled. Many products are passed their expiration date. If you find a good sale price, you had better check the expiration date because it will probably expire in a day or two. If you use SNAP, they want you to pay your bottle deposit in cash, which is illegal in NYS. Management has told my neighbors that if they don't like the prices don't shop here. A lot of us have stopped. We have high quality specialty stores just a few blocks away that have fruit and vegetables that are extraordinarily fresh at less than half the price. This store is lacking in selection too. Complete rip off the second you walk in the door.

These guys are awesome! I went to a few locations when I lived in different neighborhoods and they always had the greatest possible selection at very competitive prices.
It's basically like going to an upscale grocery while paying a steep discount!
The staff is always awesome, too!! Must mean they're treated well by management :D Now THAT'S how to run a company!!!
I don't know how they stay in business, but I hope they continue to for a very long time!!!
