Katie Cohen was fantastic from start to finish; totally professional, super efficient, and worked absolutely tirelessly in the clients interest. There are rare occasions when you come across people who are superb at their jobs, Katie is one of these people. Without overstatement, I could not recommend her more highly.

I had the privilege of receiving advice and support from Anne Marie Rugeris at Keystone Law during an exceptionally challenging period involving a university fitness-to-practise appeal, with significant implications for my future professional career.

Charlotte was excellent in helping us arrange Lasting Powers of Attorney for my brother, D, who has Down syndrome.

She was kind, patient and very respectful of D throughout the process. I raised questions concerning the SRA's handling of earlier judicial criticism involving Keystone Law.

In Bernard Sport Surfaces Ltd v Astrosoccer4u Ltd [2017] EWHC 2425 (TCC), Mr Justice Coulson strongly criticised aspects of the conduct and expressly referred to Keystone Law's involvement.

In May 2018, Keystone publicly announced that the SRA intended to close its file without further investigation or disciplinary action.

On 12 February 2026, I raised oversight questions about how that outcome had been reached.

My concern was that the available public material did not identify the individual decision-maker or provide a sufficiently detailed explanation of the regulatory reasoning.

I recognise that judicial criticism does not automatically establish a breach of professional rules. Nevertheless, I believe public confidence would benefit from a clearer explanation of how such matters are assessed.
