I don’t usually post bad reviews but feel like Kingfisher Windows experience wasn’t great. First they couldn’t make it original fitting day so I’ve lost day of holiday. I have no issues itself with quality of the door but fitter used brown silicone to finish which look awful an doesn’t match my windows(wasn’t even ask if I wanted brown). I made complaint to the company but was completely brushed off by guy called Paul, he said that as a standard the used brown which is not true as they fitted my neighbors door and used white. Really not happy with the service.

Having used several of the bigger window companies in West Yorkshire, we can say that Kingfisher are definitely the best in terms of quality and customer service. Friendly, but non-pushy sales staff, great office and back room staff, and our fitters, Chris and Craig, were really first class. No redecoration required, the internal finish is that good Externally they knew to advise us to have a stone coloured silicone sealant, instead of matching the frame colour, for a much better appearance. Well done!

We have just had all our windows and doors fitted by Kingfisher of Leeds. What a fantastic team... efficient, professional and polite from initial quotation through to installation. The windows have completely transformed our home and we couldn't be happier with the outcome.

Massive shout out to Chris and Craig, the installers, who are top craftsmen and so professional and friendly with a helpful attitude... they are diligent and speedy grafters who were totally respectful of our home and family. It was great to hear them singing while they worked... lol! We would definitely recommend the team.

We have had our windows, door, soffits and fascia's and internal windows sills replaced by Kingfisher Windows of Leeds. We are absolutely delighted with the products and the care taken by Andrew and Russ at Kingfisher. The products are of brilliant quality and light years in front of the nearest competition. They are very reasonably priced and the technicians that install the products take time to ensure that everything fits perfectly and that we are fully trained on how to use and care for the products. We are delighted with the company and with the service that we have had from them and wanted to mention Andrew and Russ individually and to thank them for their brilliant customer service.

Like so many others we couldn't use our conservatory for several months every year. Looked into having a solid roof put on and realised it was a job for professionals using a system approved by local authority building control. Turned to a couple of firms for quotes one of which was Kingfisher who we'd used about 20 years ago at our previous property. The quotes were very close so we went with kingfisher as we had a good experience previously, albeit a long time ago.

Home visit and quote was quickly organised and order placed. Was initially told to expect a 3 or 4 month wait for work to commence but delighted that everything came together within 6 or 7 weeks. Communication was pretty good including with the subcontractors when they were brought in for specific tasks, eg scaffolding. The two kingfisher installers, Craig and Chris, were excellent, very skilful and considerate and great ambassadors for the company. The plasterer was a craftsman as well as an entertaining character. The sub contractor electricians were excellent and extremely thorough.

The end result is fantastic, given a wonderful fresh look to our conservatory and the effect on temperature and noise is every bit as good as we expected. It's an expensive alteration but has unquestionably enhanced our home and we can highly recommend kingfisher to anyone thinking of going down this road.

We are absolutely thrilled with our bespoke patio doors that we have just had installed by Kingfisher Windows. Les and Jack were brilliant with the building work and Chris & Craig did their magic with fitting the doors. Top marks to Kingfisher for employing a highly competent team of craftsmen. It makes all the difference.

I have just had an conservatory by Kingfisher. There was extra building work because of the design.
The building work was done by Les and his son Jack.
Their expert knowledge and work manship and eye for detail made the whole project and build first class.

Absolute Shambles. Windows put in badly so drafts coming in and I can hear everything outside so loudly I keep thinking I've left them open. There's a line on the inside of the glass on my kitchen window and the seal on the bathroom window ripped as soon as I opened it. The worst of all is the back door, there's daylight coming through the bottom between the door and the frame The workmanship it horrendous. I have rung up and complained and was told David would ring me and get in touch to sort these issues out. He didn't ring but I found a note scribbled on a piece of scrap paper pushed through my letter box saying he'd called round but I wasn't in. That was the whole point of him ringing me first. I did try to contact him but his phone was off so I left a text message. Still no reply.

We can’t say enough about Danny and Chris - hard working , perfectionists in their job and a pleasure to have in our home . They made a fuss of our 3 year old which was lovely and their work was really great .

Will def recommend- thanks for having such fab staff !

Kingfisher windows have recently installed a new patio door to our bedroom along with a new picture window in place of French doors in our hallway and a replacement conservatory which has a solid roof against the old polycarbonate roof. Their installation engineers were Chris and Craig. Our experience is that everything in this project has been professionally executed to the highest standard. The workmanship of the installation team has been of the highest order and keen attention has been paid to the smallest detail. The workers have cleaned up at each day's end and treated our home with great respect. Needless to say we are delighted with the finished product and can readily endorse this service with our highest satisfaction level. Thank you for a great job - well done!

Chris and Craig came this morning, (I thought Phil and Grant from Eastenders came, they looked just like them).

The guys arrived on time, were very polite, friendly and very diligent in their work and cleaned up after they left. You could not ask for a better service.

They were professional throughout and would recommend you ask for these two if fitting anything from Kingfisher windows.

Russ has just been to do remedial work, he was a gentleman and quickly fitted in the peep hole, repaired a couple of chips on the door and then cleaned up thoroughly after himself

Kingfisher have recently installed all windows and a door at our property. We can honestly say that from the salesman to the installation team the whole experience has been absolutely fabulous. The installation team worked cleanly, efficiently and were respectful to our property, possessions & occupants. The quality of the Windows and door is second to non. After being recommended by friends to Kingfisher we can only reiterate their recommendation - you won't be disappointed. Thank you to all the team.

I used Kingfisher about 18 months ago so have some perspective over time. For the most part, I thought they were very good indeed.

The windows are in my view a higher quality than almost all double glazing I have seen. My windows have 1930s stained glass and they did an excellent job in retaining this (there is a name for this process but I can't remember it). Other companies told me at the time that this was very difficult but they did a great job.

The guys who fitted the windows were also excellent. They work quickly and they really know what they are doing. They are courteous - good guys all round.

I would have given it 5 stars but I had a couple of calls with the head office where I thought the service could have been a little better - for instance I had to get them back a couple of times, once when the back door wouldn't lock, and though I wouldn't say they were rude, they weren't exactly polite either and I found myself apologising for getting them back to fix the issue. I would say that they came back the following morning to fix the door that didn't lock.

I think this was just one person though and it wasn't a big issue. I look at my windows now at I think they are the best on the street. They are not cheap but the cost is fair. I have had no problems since they were installed.

We moved into a renovation project house earlier this year and found that the windows were drafty, noisy, half of them didn’t close once opened and the front door was very unsafe. We needed all new windows and doors, new composite front and back door.

Of all of the quotes we received Kingfisher were by far the best value for money. I was really impressed with the 2 installers we had who were fantastic at their job, very lovely and helpful.

We had our ground floor windows and a patio door replaced by Kingfisher Windows of Drighlington and we where so pleased with the standard of work and quality of the windows we felt we wanted to leave a brilliant review for them.

Kingfisher have from the start to the finish been very professional and helpful. The surveyor, Simon was very good and sorted out the quote which we thought was a very good price. Then Peter called soon after for final measurement and once again was very helpful. On the day of fitting Danny and Josh arrived on time and soon began to cover the carpets and prepare to remove and fit the windows and patio door. There was a slight hiccup with the patio but they very quickly sorted it out. The standard of work and helpful attitude of the fitters was extremely good. They soon had them fitted and finished of to a very high standard. Their products are made to a very high standard and offer excellent value for money.
On the strength of there quality of work and product we have placed a further order for all the upstairs windows.

I wrote a bad review yesterday but after talking to you and working things out I am very pleased to say I am happy with every thing, the workmen that came and fitted our door were fantastic and the workman ship is absolutely first class, I am hard to please but I couldn't find a fault any where so needless to say I will us you again, x

I phoned to request a quote for an Orangery, that evening I called back as they did not call me, I was informed the sales lady had gone home, and she would definitely ring me to arrange a quote, a week later nothing, good job I did not have to wait in for the someone not to come to my house,second double glazing company to let us down yet more of the usual shabby commercial incompetence. Well, provide the number you ca!led from and I will amend my review and apologise. However, I am delighted that you refuse to provide me with a quote,I am sure that another local company will be happy to take advantage of your mealy mouthed response.
I am not sure who is dealing with this at Kingfisher, please let this go now you starting to look like even more of a shambles with this recent reply.

I was informed it would take 4-6 weeks from payment, which was made on 8/11/19. Measurements/pictures were previously provided.
6 weeks from 8/11/19 is 20/12/19 but it wasn’t completed until 14/1/20 which is around 3.5 weeks over. So the total time is 9.5 weeks. This is well over 6 weeks. They had fitted the window on 6/1/20 but hadn’t got the correct outside sealant so this was completed on 14/1/20. I was also informed it would be completed before Christmas and it wasn’t. After speaking to them they even said it’s only 2.5 days over. Clearly it isn’t!!

After we had our problem sorted out by Deborah one of the directors for Kingfisher we had no problems with the delivery and quality of the patio doors. The quality is top class the installation was excellent. WHY O WHY could this not have happened at first kingfisher please learn from this. and you will get 5 star reviews every time
