Very disappointing experience with King…

Very disappointing experience with King Living. I purchased a King Kube Freeform sofa.

My concerns have still not been properly addressed, and each response feels templated rather than written by someone who has actually read my emails.
I’ve had to repeat myself multiple times over the phone and email regarding being overcharged, then re a product fault and return process.

Instead of resolving the issue, communication has been slow, vague, and frustrating. The lack of accountability and attention to detail has made what should be a straightforward customer service matter unnecessarily difficult.

For a company positioned as a premium furniture brand, the after-sales service has fallen well below expectations. Quality customer care should not end once payment has been made.

I expected professionalism, clear communication, and timely action. Unfortunately, this experience has been the opposite.

Efren did send me an email, but it sounds like AI, because my question regarding a return was not addressed.

Easy communication

Great Customer Service from Kris

I just wanted to share how lovely it was speaking with Kris over the phone. She was polite and proactive and made the whole experience really pleasant. My issue was handled with ease and professionally.

It’s honestly rare to come across service like this these days, so I really hope her efforts will be recognised, which, was why I took the time to write this review. Experiences like this are what make it so pleasant to keep coming back as a returning customer.

Marks on sofa after delivery.

Checking my sofa after delivery, noticed marks on a cushion. The delivery crew made a note and in a few weeks I was contacted by Yolyn from King Living customer support. She asked if I would like some cleaning solution to remove the marks. I agreed, received the cleaners and they did the trick. She contacted me again to see how everything worked out.

Sofa is beautiful & I’m honestly stoked…

Sofa is beautiful & I’m honestly stoked at how nice it smells. I know that’s weird but the last sofa I bought (obvs not from King) reeked of chemicals.
Special shout out to the boys that delivered the sofa. Didn’t catch their names but it was delivered on 16/4 to Mona Vale. Give those boys a raise, they did you proud.

Disappointing experience with customer support

Really disappointed with my recent experience with King Living.

I’ve always associated the brand with quality, but when I had an issue with a bed frame defect, the customer support experience really let things down. It seems like the Australian support team has been outsourced, and unfortunately the level of service just wasn’t there.

I kept getting pushed into what felt like an endless AI chatbot loop, going around in circles without getting any real help or resolution. It was frustrating and honestly quite exhausting trying to speak to an actual person.

For a premium brand, you expect a much higher level of after-sales support, especially when something goes wrong with the product.

Hoping they address this, because right now the experience doesn’t match the brand.

Ordered two sofa sets in October 2025.

Ordered two sofa sets in October 2025.
One delivered without feet in Jan 2026. The other was missing an entire 3seater couch and had not been made. The showroom were apologetic but entirely useless at solutions as the customer service dept is separate and outsourced overseas.
After about 3 weeks of extremely frustrating emails, eventually get news of a replacement sofa being arranged and a paltry compensation offer (which we successfully negotiated to triple).
Finally, sofa delivered in April 2026 and compensation paid.

Overall 1* customer service and organisation.
Furniture is good quality and comfortable

Not the Right Fit for My Space, But Amazing Service

I purchased the King Sofa Bed and, although it was comfortable, after some time I realized it wasn’t quite the right fit for my space. I reached out to the team regarding their advertised 120-day trial, and the process was incredibly easy and stress-free. Both the customer service team (Kath specifically) and the courier who picked up the sofa were friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout. I really appreciated how seamless and hassle-free the entire return experience was!

Delta sofa quality and great customer service

I've owned the Delta sofa for over 7 years now and it is in perfect condition. It is so comfortable, well constructed, uses quality materials, includes practical storage, timeless look....this is the best sectional. This year I wanted to change the look and replaced the covers. For a relatively small price, these couches have been given a refreshed look and many more years of enjoyment. These are lifetime couches. I am really grateful for the excellent customer service communications and support that I have received.

King Living reschedule request

I contacted King Living to reschedule a delivery and Clyde did what she could to accommodate my delivery request. The call dropped, she called me back. She was always professional and super polite. Excellent service.

Delivery of my bed

I was arranging my delivery of bed from King Living, Clyde was helpful and professional in assisting me navigate a day and date that day suitable for me. I had also paid for assembly of my bed however due to delay in construction I am unable to have assembly Clyde advised that I can reschedule assembly for up to three months and if not ready during the time frame a refund will be made.
