My 74 year old mother went to Kingsbridge Hearing Care under recommendation from a top consultant who highly recommended them and Stephen Hunter to be the best in his field of expertise. She was not disappointed.

She was tested for her hearing loss and Stephen explained in great detail her options and helped her understand everything she needed to know re her hearing impairment and all the aftercare she will receive if she were to take up their services. So she did without hesitation!

She purchased her hearing aids and she invested in what she can only describe as a renewed quality of life. She can hear better now than she has in a long time. It takes a little time to get used to (which was explained to her) but She is so excited about her future now that she can hear so much better.

She is loving her hearing aids and all her Bluetooth extras. She is a 74 year old woman who has been able to manage this hi-tech stuff. (Thanks to Stephen taking the time explaining how to use the extras and setting it all up for her).

I have been suffering from gradual hearing loss and aggravating tinnitus for over the past few years. Despite seeing several hearing specialists, I was unable to get any long term relief or solution to my hearing problems. My wife suggested I contact Kingsbridge and I was then referred to the Kingsbridge Hearing Centre. After conducting several tests and checks the Centre staff proposed a hearing aid solution. These modern and discreet hearing aids have brought me significant relief and an enhanced quality of life as my hearing has considerably improved and the tinnitus well masked. The after care support and customer service is excellent. I would thoroughly recommend anyone suffering from hearing or tinnitus issues to contact Kingsbridge Hearing Centre.

Hi, I felt I had some hearing loss for the past 15 years but every time I had an NHS test they said I don’t need help ! Finally last September I booked in with Stephen Hunter at Kingsbridge, my hearing was tested and finally someone believed me ! I did have a problem and better still with two tiny hearing aids I would have normal hearing!! I went outside to get my car to drive home and was shocked by all of the wonderful sounds I was hearing (mainly the sound of the cars on the wet road). What I difference. I wore the temporary aids for 4 weeks until my personalised aids where made by this time I had got used to the aids and was delighted with my new ones because they connect via Bluetooth with my phone. Had been fighting with myself about getting new hearing aids as I had stopped wearing them at a young age. Stephen at kingsbridge hearing centre went through the benefits of the new version of hearing aids with no obligation to purchase or pressure. I got the hearing aids and found for the first few weeks it was hard to adjust so much so I thought they weren’t for me but on advice from Stephen I stuck with them and after 3 -4 weeks now I have adopted fully and would not be without them. Working in a noisy industrial environment I have noticed a vast improvement when it comes to hearing my colleagues speaking. I am pleased to recommend Kingsbridge Hearing Care following my recent visits to Stephen. His professionalism and enthusiasm was distinctly evident on my first and subsequent consultations. Stephen recommended Phonak Paradise aids and they have been a revelation. The Bluetooth connectivity with my cellphone, laptop and television has provided me with a quality beyond expectation. Following a period of settling in Stephen made full use of his impressive technology to fine tune the system to my further benefit. From the initial assessment,prescribing,fitting and adjusting the system I would thoroughly endorse this service to anyone concerned about hearing loss.

I suffer from a serious ear condition and am under the care of an NHS ENT Consultant following an emergency ear operation a number of years ago. During this operation the surgeon built a pocket in my ear canal to collect the regrowth.

Twice a year, I attend hospital to have ear suction performed on my post-operative ear condition. If this suction is not performed, debris builds up in the pocket, resulting in acute pain and it can lead to serious complications.

When COVID-19 struck in March 2020, I was due to attend the suction clinic. Due to the pandemic, ENT had to cancel my appointment.

I was in tremendous pain and did not know what to do. I turned to the private sector and contacted Kingsbridge Hearing Care.

My call was returned very promptly by Stephen Hunter, Lead Rehab Audiologist.
Stephen was very knowledgeable about my condition and agreed to see me within 24 hours.

I found Stephen to be the consummate professional, knowledgeable, empathetic and extremely skilled.

This is October and I still have not been reviewed by my consultant due to COVID-19.

I found myself in the same position again last week. I rang Kingsbridge Hearing Care and was seen within 24 hours again by Stephen. Still the same empathetic professional.

I cannot rate Kingsbridge highly enough. Even when the world returns to normality I will remain a patient of Mr Stephen Hunter. I am so grateful to Kingsbridge Hearing Care’s past and on going care.

The care and attention that my father has been given by Stephen Hunter and the team have been exceptional. In addition, state of the art equipment, coupled with superior products make a visit here a must.

Fantastic service. Stephen made me feel extremely comfortable and explained all the steps in the process which made me feel very much at ease. He is so thorough and I can't believe the difference the micro suction has made to my hearing. I can't recommend the service highly enough.

I took my mum to see Stephen Hunter at Kingsbridge Hearing Care after we had noticed what seemed to be a deterioration in her hearing aid performance.
He took her through a series of steps to investigate, from gently cleaning the ear to testing her hearing, updating the software and settings on her hearing aid, including changing the domes to better fit her ear canal. At each point he explained clearly what he was doing and why, which put mum at ease and enabled her to give him the required information to get the best possible solution.
Mum is delighted with the result and can hear much more clearly than before, even softer sounds which she had difficulty with before - really a fantastic service.
I would highly recommend paying Stephen a visit if you or an older relative are struggling with any degree of hearing loss which may be fixable. Very professional and friendly service.

Her personality has been restored as she can keep up with conversations again and more easily join in . Going into noisy environments is now not a problem so she is interested again in socialising

i got hearing aids from Stephen about 1 year age and was very impressed by his service and followup. Sound quality is excellent. He always goes out of the way to fit me in for review if necessary.

I have always had absolutely first class attention and treatment by Stephen Hunter and team at Kingsbridge hearing care. If hearing problems arise, he arranges for immediate review, and will always go the extra mile. He is totally interested and focused and patient, and always willing to give adequate time to sort any problem.
