Turned up an hour later than expected!. Looked at the minor leak and stated it would be £275. I knew that price was absolutely over inflated for what was a very simple issue. I said I was unhappy and to leave at which point the "plumber" said i need my money (£48 call out fee) and demanded i paid by bank transfer rather than card (which i was told I could pay by initially).
I was made to feel very very uncomfortable with my two small children behind me and he refused to leave my house until payment was made.
The "plumber" did absolutely nothing apart from telling me hugely inflated price with no paperwork or receipts etc.

They are scammers! I got a different plumber who did the job in under 2 mins and for less than £30

Called and asked for a quote, plumber turned up and said need 48£ call out fee, had a conversation with the owner and said at no time was I advised that a call out charge was required, told him that if I'd been told this I wouldn't proceed, no work done, had quote for work, based on this I do not intend to proceed , I would not recommend this company!

I was charged £600 to have a small fuse changed inside my socket call out was £68 so it was £668 I have been ripped off by this company it's left me feeling depressed I'm going to phone my credit card company and try to get a refund plus I'm going to contact trading standards and a solicitor I suggest others to do the same

Awful service.
Girl on phone couldn't wait to get me off the phone. Very abrupt and vague. Said it would be a 30 minute wait.
Waited for an hour, rang back and she said they are nearly with me.
Then someone called and said his colleague would be with me in 30 minutes. Arrived in an unmarked vechivle 3/4 hour later. Didn't wipe feet and went upstairs, he was 2 minutes and said the cost is £10k. I said I'll get someone else, he said no it's only £300 really. By this time I was fed up and suspicious that this wasn't a genuine tradesperson. I said I can get it cheaper elsewhere. He said ok I'll just charge you my hourly rate £189, plus call out £48 plus parts £90 which was no cheaper. He asked how much was I willing to pay to which I asked him to leave. He said £200? I asked again and he refused, I asked even firmer to leave or I will call the police and he stood in the door way with his foot in the door so I couldn't close it. Very scary experience. Avoid!

I had a terrible experience with Kings Plumbing and Drainage. I called about a faulty tap and was told a plumber would arrive within an hour for a fixed £70 fee (cash or card).

After waiting over 1 hour and 20 minutes, I called for an update and was told I’d get a callback, which never happened. The plumber eventually arrived after 1 hour and 35 minutes with no tools, walked into the kitchen, didn’t even touch the sink, just looked at it and said he couldn’t work on it but still demanded payment.

He then gave inconsistent quotes (£300, then £250) for a replacement, which felt misleading. Despite no actual work being done, we were charged £86 instead of the agreed £70.

Overall, extremely unprofessional service, poor communication, and unexpected charges. I would not recommend.

They are also same company as reyan plumbing rotherham, they have multiple websites with different names and numbers beginning 02 they sent a plumber tried to charge me £1600 i said no plumber then dropped cost to £600 for same job he didnt complete the work though he flooded my bathroom and abandoned the job mid flood that he caused! the company have sacked him but say they wont compensate the damages so im now seeking legal action please avoid

Called out on a Sunday to repair a small leak on my stopcock.
The callout charge was reasonable and the plumber arrived within two hours, however after being on site less than 10 minutes, I received a quote for £750 for a job that was going to take less than half an hour which was ridiculous!!!
Well I appreciate it was a Sunday and callout costs and repair cost would be higher, the price I was quoted bear no relation to what others then subsequently quoted.
In fact, when I told another Plummer how much I’ve been quoted for a very simple job, they were go back and couldn’t believe anyone would try and charge that kind of cost.
I definitely would not recommend them or use them again
