Can’t fault the overall experience from Kovered, the only reason I’ve down scored is down to the delivery service which shouldn’t reflect my overall experience as the customer service was amazing, overall very pleased with the bag and service just RM let them down.

Amazing quality product

Very good so far, bag delivered in expected timelines.Well thought through design perfect for every day commute with a MacBook/accessories. Was hard to tell from the pictures whether my particular bag colour/design had bottle holders externally - but i've just started to store them internally.

All fasteners and zips seem good quality so far.

Great looking and well designed bag. Nice thick canvas material. It's waxed but haven't tested in the rain yet to see if it's waterproof... Bag is very spacious though and extends quite a long way fully unrolled. Also has two large external pockets plus a divider and small pouch inside. Very comfortable to wear, would definitely recommend

I got a bag from Kovered back when they still offered lifetime guarantees. It immediately broke, having a faulty seam but they did replace it with the same bag. This also broke and was clearly badly manufactured and they have discontinued it. They have also got rid of their lifetime guarantees on new bags.

They say changing from a lifetime guarantee to a one year guarantee: "This was not a result of the poor quality of our goods but as result of the confidence/durability of our bags!'' - this a total contradiction surely. I take this to mean 'our bags were poor quality, they may not be now but we don't have enough confidence in their durability to last more than a year so won't guarantee beyond that'.

Although the bag I bought is still covered by its lifetime guarantee, all they will offer is store credit and a slight discount which with today's prices is less than a third of a bag. I'm not willing to spend double the amount again to test the quality of their new bags, I would simply like as a refund for the original cost. They have refused this though and repeatedly made what they deem 'generous offers' but actually amounts to keeping my money and in fact trying to weasel even more out of me. Store credit is not real and is essentially worthless. Under UK consumer law, I am entitled to a refund up to 6 years for faulty goods, and do not have to accept store credit. They have refused to acknowledge this and brushed me off since.

Update: A comment on a review unfortunately won't change my rating as their response is the same as their emails: meaningless and empty.
1) the lining was not 'torn' - the seams literally fell apart inside and out as they are so poorly manufactured
2) a goodwill gesture is not goodwill when it requires the customer to spend more money than the value of the original item in order to have it replaced (probably by yet another faulty bag)...it is in fact the opposite, a manipulative ploy.
3) I suggest they read up on UK consumer law, the 6 year rule is literally current guidance on gov.uk...I have no clue where they plucked this pre-2015 nonsense from.
4) not once in the email exchange did they say they were unable to do a refund because I was not the original purchaser (it was bought for me). I would be very happy for the original purchaser to receive the refund.

The bag is absolutely beautiful even nicer in person. Quality is amazing too! Shipping was super fast.

Awesome products !! ... have purchased their leather backpack & leather holdall ... heavy duty leather which will age really well ... the bruise or 2 will give them character... jst love them !!

Slightly overpriced but reasonably quick delivery and the bag fits more in than you think.

The quality is good to be very honest, deducted one star because the colour is not what see on the website, i think the picture of the bags on the website are filtered to dark tone but in real they are not that dark -

Great service (I called with a query and was put straight through to a helpful human!)

I bought 3 different bags on separate episodes. The reason why I kept buying from them is because of all the good moral values they advertise, above all their lifetime guarantee products.
I found out today that this is not the case anymore and the bags purchased after AUG 2022 only have 1 year warranty.
Furthermore I wasn't impressed with the last bag I bought as it fell apart only after using it twice, however as they sent me a new bag free of charge, I was happy with the outcome.
I now have another broken bag that I bought less than 2 years ago, which has a broken zip (the slider pin fell apart). I only use it when I take a plane, which is only a few times a year. This makes me wonder about the quality of their products. I used to like this company because of their sustainable, high quality, lifetime guaranteed slogan but this is not true anymore. It's just another company. There are other companies that offer lifetime guarantee products out there.

I purchased a Very high quality product from Kovered. Worth every penny, very impressed, this is a high end product that will last for years if looked after. The Company Kovered is going to go absolute mainstream and challenge high profile names that sell inferior low grade products at extortionate prices.

I needed a new hold-all for travelling and chose Kovered. Solid build quality and chunky zips/clasps. Looks the business. Feels secure. Fast delivery.

Really well made bag, better quality than I realistically hoped for the price. Highly recommend.
