I recently attended a five weeks intensive histopathology training with Labmed Expert, and it exceeded my expectations. The session was highly engaging, well-structured, and thorough in covering all the essential topics. Manpreet demonstrated expert knowledge, making complex concepts easy to understand and applicable.

The training format was interactive, allowing us to ask questions and engage in practical exercises, which helped reinforce the material. I especially appreciated the use of the microtome.

Overall, this training provided me with valuable skills and knowledge that I can directly apply in my role. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their expertise in histology especially in tissue processing.

Enrolling in this training was the best decision I made. All my applications before the training returned as unsuccessful. However, upon concluding my training by November, I started to get an interview by December, and I got a Biomedical Scientist band 5 role all thanks to LabmedExpert, an organisation that goes all out for their trainees and also keeps in contact to see each and everyone's progress. Extremely Disappointing Histopathology Training at LabMedExpert

I strongly advise against enrolling in any training programs with LabMedExpert. I paid £3,500 for their "Intensive Histopathology Training" and received nothing close to what was promised. After completing the training, I requested a paper certificate, only to be charged an extra £50 for what turned out to be a cheap, printed piece of paper without a signature or stamp. It’s not recognized by any institutes or countries. It literally looks like something made on Photoshop with no official validation.

The training itself was chaotic and unprofessional. It spanned over 5 weekends, with the first one consisting of nothing but discussions—no practical training whatsoever. With 6 students and only 3 poorly maintained microtomes, we had to take turns. I paid a lot of money only to spend 30 minutes on the equipment and then wait for my turn, which was a waste of valuable time. The outdated microtomes made it impossible to produce quality slides.

For the staining section, they initially promised transport to Wolverhampton but later informed us that we had to cover our own travel expenses. As I couldn’t afford the train, I had to drive, which was extremely inconvenient. Once there, the staff seemed too busy to properly train us, focusing more on finishing their own work than ensuring we understood the process.

What I don’t understand is why I had to travel from Southampton to Wolverhampton for training that I initially applied for in London. It felt like a bait-and-switch situation, and the quality of the training didn’t justify the effort and cost. They didn’t focus on providing comprehensive training, which is unacceptable when you're paying this much.

It’s been almost a year since completing the training, and it has done nothing for my career. Despite their claims of job assistance, all they did was help with my CV—no actual help in securing a job. Several agencies in London told me this type of training is basically worthless and insufficient for gaining experience. Some hospitals even required a practical exam, which this training did not prepare me for.

Lastly, after repeatedly asking LabMedExpert for an official certificate with a real signature and stamp, I received no response. Their lack of professionalism, poor training quality, and refusal to issue a legitimate certificate are why I highly do not recommend this training program to anyone.

My training officer was very good and patient with me. AShe explained all the sections of the course really well and i was able to achieve my goal.

Great training staff. Mr kunle, Precious and Adewumi have been very positive and supportive. All the other staff members have also been very helpful. The courses are designed to get you the required experience to work in the NHS. I strongly recommend if you don’t have any experience and is trying to get into the NHS.

I recently attended the LabMedExpert workshop in London in April and it was an incredible experience. The workshop was extremely informative, well-organised, and the instructors were highly knowledgeable and engaging. I learned so much during the workshop and feel much more confident in my skills and knowledge in the field of laboratory medicine. Additionally, the hands-on activities and practical demonstrations were valuable in helping me understand and apply the concepts taught in the workshop. Overall, I highly recommend LabMedExpert for anyone looking to further their knowledge in laboratory medicine. Thank you for a fantastic workshop experience!

I trained on the Intensive histology course and specimen dissection course with LabMedExpert and received a fab outcome of knowledge, tips/skills on different sections and confidence to progress further in my career. I want to thank specifically trainers Kunle and Manpreet for all the advice and expertise. It’s also great how you can keep in touch with the trainers after finishing the courses for further queries etc.
