I ordered an extendable ladder and waited a few days for stock to arrive. Despatched quickly once in stock with next day delivery by DX. Unfortunately, it arrived damaged ie rung badly bent and distorted. After BPS were made aware, it was resolved and quite quickly.
My only little niggle was that the information given on more than one of my calls was quite vague and resulted in more contact from me.
On the whole though, I'm very pleased with the ladder I bought and it was at an excellent price. I would happily recommend BPS to others.

In this day and age it’sSO good to find a responsive and communicative company. The product is often remarked upon by customers and that ladder is the best addition I’ve added to my business in years. Congratulations on your fantastic service and assistance making my experience feel quite remarkable among the many companies I deal with. A credit to yourselves!!!

Ordered a tower on 8 September - still waiting a month later for delivery. Item out of stock, taken money and keep promising delivery soon once item back in.
I'd go as far to say this company are pending going into administration given the recent reviews...
Can't get hold of customer services by telephone or email.
Please cancel order BPS491256 urgently and issue a full refund.

The most appalling customer service I have EVER known and still being fed absolute Bull 💩 6 weeks later trying to get an overpayment of £80 returned. Treating people like fools. Beginning to wonder if the initial overpayment was intentional and the subsequent behavior is normal. Not that impressed with the product either.

Ordered Tower Scaffolding for next day delivery and it arrived next day. Really pleased with the quality which has exceeded my expectation. Small issue with delivery company - one of the runs damaged. Emailed BPS, no quibble, replacement sent. Highly recommended for product, quality and customer service.

I ordered loft ladders and they didn't arrive on time, when they did the package was open and parts damaged. I refused delivery and contacted the seller. My query was answered by Frese and I am getting a replacement with the delivery being monitored. They have also taken into consideration that we will be away for certain periods and are accomodating this. In my personal opinion I consider this excellent customer service, taking my issue on board and resolving it asap.

Placed an order 2nd August for an item which was due in stock beginning of September. I then chased the delivery 17th September and 24th September with no response, I have tried live chat twice during advertised opening times, and spent 1.5 hours on hold on the phone all with no response. I have had no correspondence from the company since my order confirmation on 2nd August.

What's the issue in responding to my request for your returns address? I think James Edmund AUSTIN needs to have a good look at his company structure and sort out his customer service policy......

WHAT terrible customer service.... BPS you really need to look at yourselves. Ordered 2 ladders.. The 1st (and the cheapest) arrived no prob. 2nd one has not arrived still hasn't after 3 days of waiting in
Does BPS care... Not at all it seems. I called (waited for my "important to you" response for over 30 minutes more than once... text and emailed with the only response being contact the USELESS delivery company... who also have a scathing review from me

Do better! Change your delivery company and ANSWER THE PHONE

Purchased a couple of diy tower scaffolds. Very impressed with the design and quality. Unfortunately two middle sections were bent at some point during delivery or at the depot. The damage was invisible under the packaging. However, Carly from their customer service team, did a top job of getting them replaced.

Great delivery service. Loft ladder delivered damaged. Shame I can’t get you to respond to my emails or pick up the phone. Tried multiple times. Your customer service really lets you down!

Update 23/9 evening: It took a poor Trust pilot review to get a response from this company - they called me this afternoon. My various emails (including the one from Monday which included the photos of the damage) were reviewed whilst on the phone and they confirmed that had received them but are too understaffed to respond! So I wonder why in their response below, they are asking me to email the photos!

I really thought that their product was good and that is what led me to them - I wish I hadn't now. The below response has made it worse.

I ordered a 2 section loft ladder from BPS via Amazon. The ladder arrived quickly and in perfect condition. However the maximum height measurement given on the Amazon website was detailed as 3 metres. With a floor to loft floor height of 2.95 metres, I expected the ladder to be suitable. The ladder itself was actually less than 3 metres long and was therefore unsuitable.

I contacted BPS via my Amazon order and explained the issue. I received prompt and polite replies to my messages, BPS arranged collection of the loft ladder at their expense and refunded the purchase price in full.

I am also pleased to see that the maximum height detailed on Amazon's website has been updated to 2.67 metres. This is the correct maximum floor to loft floor height; therefore saving anyone else experiencing the same issue as me! Had there not been an issue in the first place I would be giving a 5* rating.

It was a pleasant change to deal with a company who uses a person instead of being put on endless hold on a phone and pressing numbers.
Frese dealt with my problem in a professional and competent manner, having a person to communicate with made all the difference. Thank you.

Simple and easy to communicate with, responded quickly, and even though my order was late in the afternoon, I had my order, a trade pro 9.1m WH tower with me the next morning. Fantastic price and super fast service, all good.

Great service, needed a part for tripod ladders, spoke to Carly Stevens who was very helpful, checked part was in stock and sent same day, turned up next day, not a days work missed, fantastic customer service.

I had problems with an item I purchased. I was helped immediately by Carly Stephens who was most helpful, pleasant to talk to and very professional. Am now awaiting my replacement. Thank you Carly.

Bought the 7m Homemaster aluminium scaffold. It arrived very fast with very good diagram instructions. Given that I hate working at height once I had assembled it with my husband and had climbed up inside using the hatches it allayed my nerves completely. Very stable with the bracing in place. One day the wind did rise, but it was the gusts on me rather than the tower, which remained solid, that made me nervous again. Using it to assist painting of a Victorian house with wooden sash windows. It's been a great help at a reasonable price. Tip is to attach bolts and nuts (metal ones not the coloured butterfly ones) to cross bracing before assembly.

Tower arrived well packed, good quality and easy to put together. Delivery was next day as advertised

I made a mistake online and ordered the wrong ladder. Getting it put right was extremely frustrating. Messages completed on the online order form were ignored, messages were not passed on, long waits with no one answering the phone ( while been told repeatedly that my phone call was important to them - evidently not). Long delays in receiving answers to whats app messages and then answered with no reference to any records or paperwork. Carly eventually sorted it out but there were six days of frustration before this happened. I was going to reorder the correct ladder but went to Screwfix instead.

While the delivery of my purchase was late, this was due to the courier managing to loose the first item sent.
Despite this Frese from BPS was chasing up daily to get the problem resolved as quickly as possible, and once it was clear the third party freight forwarder had lost the item, despatched a replacement that came next day.
As such they deserve 4 starts for the great customer support directly from BPS and Frese, but miss out on 5 as their third party freight forwarder let them down.
