What a great store. Beautiful handmade British hats. Many styles and colors to choose from. Fantastic and friendly staff Highly recommend. Their other store that I visited had some lovely simple yet elegant clothes as well. All handmade simple yet refined. A+++

Such great online experience from Laird. I live in Jersey, but first saw one of its stores in Oxford when my brother helped me get there for a heart op at the John Radcliffe in February 2025. My brother was really taken with the cool Panama hats, so this year for his 65th birthday I ordered a classic Fedora online to arrive in time his big day. I'd left it a bit late but, through the friendly and helpful service from Laird, the hat arrived in time! Overall a really positive experience and I'm very grateful. I'm also all letting my friends and family know!

I first saw Laird’s on the Alan Titchmarsh Show, then visited their Covent Garden store — I love this shop! I bought a forest green Ranger fedora, and that’s when my collection (or maybe obsession) began. I now have 6 more hats and 3 caps, making 10 in total. The quality of these hats and craftsmanship is second to none!

I can’t recommend them enough. They had a hat in-store, but it wasn’t my size. They said they could stretch it to fit if I came back in about an hour — which I did. This level of service is fantastic. They even told me that if I didn’t like how it fitted once stretched, there would be no problem at all.

If you’re looking for a great hat or cap, with exceptional quality and wonderful customer service, definitely check them out!
