The surgeon, Mr Rakesh Jayaswal & his team have been fantastic to me since day 1.
All the eye tests & measuring etc have been very very professional & thorough.
The actual surgery was very minimal pain & complete in minutes.
The clinic itself is a beautiful calming place that makes you feel very relaxed.
I just wish I had laser eye surgery 20 years ago!
I now can be more active & live life to its full potential.

Rakesh Jayaswal was recommended to me by Joey Cazabon, who works with Nuffield in North Wales, and I actually traveled all the way down from North Wales just to have ICL surgery with Rakesh. I can honestly say it was completely worth it, even with the long travel. The surgery itself went flawlessly, and what stood out even more was how attentive the team was. Rakesh and his team were so kind and professional throughout, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience.

Rakesh and his team were fabulous, made me feel at ease and thoroughly explained everything. I cannot fault the service, from pre procedure to post operative, all communication is superb, and I am delighted with the results, no more glasses or contact lenses for me!

At my initial appointment at Laser Vision my options for surgery were thoroughly explained in a very professional and understanding manner by the Consultant and his team. With the decision made, I had the lens replacement surgery carried out on both eyes within two weeks of each other, which for me, was a great help. The outcome for both procedures and follow-up checks have been very satisfactory and I could not be more pleased with the results. The Consultant has always made it very clear, that if I had any questions or concerns about the procedures, before or after, contact was always available at anytime. I certainly would recommend Laser Vision for lens replacement surgery.

Very professional at every stage in the RLE pre & post op process, everything flowed like clockwork. The procedure itself was calm & complete within 25mins.
Attended a follow up visit a week later to check the Lens remained static & the eye was healing, reassured on both counts. It is now a little over three weeks since & the outcome continues to improve every single day, to say I'm delighted is an understatement. Sincere thanks to eveyone I came into contact with at LaserVision North Harbour.

Rakesh and Vicky have made a world of difference for me regarding my sight - Rakesh monitoring my corneal graft in one eye and giving me a brilliant toric lens in the other eye. Vicky has fitted me with scleral lenses for dry eyes and gone above and beyond in professionalism, support, friendship - and, of course, results! Nothing has been too much trouble for her to provide me with total comfort along with excellent vision. I hope she'll keep me as a patient for ever!

I have found all of the staff at Laser Vision very helpful and professional, giving good results.

I had bi-lateral lens replacement followed by a small Lasik tweak as a final adjustment to one eye. Everyone at LaserVision was excellent. Rakesh is so easy to talk to and happy to answer any questions I had. The optometrists, Vicky and Kerri, were also fantastic. All my emails were answered very promptly by the admin team as well (and there were many - sorry admin team!).
Rakesh recommended a 'blended' solution for me so I have one tri-focal lens and one monofocal which gives me both distance, mid and near vision. It has worked very well for me but I would advise anyone having this solution to be patient as it does take quite a few months to settle down and your brain to adjust to the new lenses. But it's absolutely amazing and after wearing glasses for about 10 years I am delighted with the outcome.
My only minor criticism would be that for both procedures I had difficulty getting hold of a prescription for a sedative and only just managed to get them the day before I was due to go in. Other than that 100% recommend LaserVision.

I was very pleased to have been recommended to Mr Mike Tappin of LaserVision to carry out lens replacement on both my eyes. This treatment was carried out at The Nuffield Hospital in Woking.
The treatment went well. Had both eyes done three weeks apart and follow up appointments to see how the eyes were settling. Mr Tappin was very reassuring and informative throughout the procedure. The Ophthalmologist, was excellent, 5 Stars from me. Every staff member I met were very professional and on top of their game.

I am extremely happy with my experience at Laser Vision. My journey started with arriving into a welcoming waiting area, with very helpful reception staff. I was rather nervous about the process as I had previously had retinal surgery which had accelerated my cataract. However, the scanning images were highly advanced and my initial consultation with Rakesh was very reassuring, when he explained the results in detail and we discussed the best treatment option available to me. I left the clinic feeling very relieved that I was in safe hands.
As my eyes were fragile, I chose to have the Refractive Pathway care package for cataract surgery using Z8 laser on both eyes. This was the best option for me, as I was then able to have regular follow up appointments throughout the year to obtain optimal vision, which resulted in me no longer needing glasses.
I am forever grateful to Rakesh and his team, in particular, Vicky, Tracy and Kerry, for their professional and personal care at different stages of my treatment, which made me feel valued and supported like part of the family.

I received outstanding care from the whole Laser Vision Team. I no longer need glasses and am thrilled with the outcome of my procedure.

From start to finish, which took best part of a year, I felt extremely comfortable and in control of my treatment.
What should have been an operation on both eyes, followed by laser treatment to correct astigmatism, became 3 operations on the right eye. This was not due to poor surgery, but due to issues with my right eye that could not have been foreseen. The team could not have been more diligent and I have now finished up with near 20/20 vision, after having had to wear very thick lenses to counteract my astigmatism for the last 60 years, I am now lens free.
It wasn't a cheap operation, but I feel it was worth every penny.

Look no further for eye surgery of any description! If you need to feel assured of excellence in eye health and want to know you feel safe in handing over improvements to your vision this is definitely the place! I had laser 35 years ago when it first came out. With aging and deterioration of sight I tried 3 places but no one would touch me. Thankfully I found Rakesh. He made sure I understood what was happening with my eyes and reassured me I could improve my vision upto 95%. No more squinting and glasses. After 3 procedures I have 20/20 vision! Painless and safe, piggyback lenses. Laser here is safe and of a superior standard. Amazing aftercare and follow up and the outcome, clear vision ! Now I’ve just attended a follow up and all is well.

All the staff and Mr Tappin are absolutely fantastic. Getting LASIK surgery has been life changing for me and I can’t thank everyone enough for their help and support. Best decision ever!
